Protecting Canadian Children is excited to host our first meeting on the introduction of "The Children’s Army".

The Children’s Army was created in August, 2011 when speakers from across Canada came together on a bus tour to share their stories. The voices for those whose lives were unnecessarily compromised or lost joined us to reflect on strategies to help improve the Child and Youth Care System. We came face to face with representatives of the Child and Youth agencies in many communities throughout the Golden Horseshoe, through to Kingston and then met at a rally on Parliament Hill.
After decades of dishonourable and deafening silence on the part of our government, we, the people, must take action to protect our children from these "big agencies" that only have forgotten "the best interest of the child’ in favour of the "best interest of the shareholders". Our children are under siege and we are now at a face-off between bad corporations and good parents.
It is our intention to faithfully hold meetings on a monthly basis. We want to honour not only lives lost in our good Country each month but to bring awareness on this brutal impact this issue has in our world, and nationwide.
No matter where you are in Canada, we have the power to join together on this cause to reduce the fatality rates related to mortality, and childhood maltreatment. We have an appalling number of children dying each year under the supervision of children and youth agencies at the rate of 2 per week! Please join this cause - together, we can all do something more about this.
There will be a question and answer period at the end of the formal meeting.
The meeting will be of value to everyone who cares about justice for children, persons with disability, seniors and individuals needing palliative care – anyone at increased risk of vulnerability.
If the population of Canada would stand up to show the leaders, we no longer will tolerate using children as commodities, and we are calling for real democracy, social justice and anti-corruption we can safe many lives!
We trust that our army will become a strong foundation as we perform obligated duty and responsibility toward our beloved nation.

I am the author and Founder of “Protecting Canadian Children”, an organization I established several years ago with the mission of hope, love and the matter of life and death. I am also the Founder of “The Children’s Army”, formed this summer while touring the province to educate and attempt to prevent the destruction of families.

All the way through the Child Protective Service, there has been a plan of destruction of the Canadian family has been planned for decades. We are losing our children left and right. There is a tremendous crisis going on in childhood that includes bullying. There are so many children who have suffered such an ordeal that the pain for some is so deep, they feel the need of carrying out a poignant suicide. Something is wrong. This should not be happening. Someone is not doing their job. I know we can prevent these tragedies.

We all know that during elections, promise-making is an integral part of human communicative strategies for winning favour. Indeed, every theatrical act entails promise-making as a direct means for persuasion.

Last year at the Municipal Elections, I became an observer. It is amazing what you see when you take the time to really look. Now I know why the blind see more than we do. People are like robots. We had to write down any question we wished to ask the candidates and give it to the MC. The MC would read the questions first and organize them into favourable and not so favourable piles. If the MC did not like the question, he put it at the bottom of the pile. Due to time constraints, the question never got asked. We no longer have a voice!!

I attended the TVO Agenda camp for the upcoming provincial election. It was totally controlled by guideline! All the important footage that should be on the news never made it to the news. The media have always had their own agenda which is controlled by what they see is “headline” news or “not news at all”. When the media becomes controlled, it also becomes harmful.

Now it is time for Provincial election and we have as two of our candidates come Andrea Horwath (the rooky) and Tim Hudak. As for Dalton McGuinty just follow the funding.

Again, their platform is controlled by what they perceive as viable (or popular) issues and not so viable. It is fully control. Have they forgotten that they work for us? Ordinary people can no longer find out with they are campaigning until the last minute. I went to my MPP’s office to obtain a schedule of Andrea Horwath’s upcoming appearances. She told me she didn’t know. It is dangerous when they keep secrets in order just to have their own supporters there. I tried to get a meeting with Tim Hudak, the Mayor, and Andrea Horwath and so far, I have been ignored. I guess our voice and concerns no longer count.

Here is one of my issues for Andrea:

Andrea Horwath tabled Bill 88 and Bill 93. These bills never made it to second reading due to an election and prorogue by the Liberals. Andrea Horwath took leadership position of the NDP and Bill 131 was tabled by Rosario which was also taken off the table due to prorogue by Liberals. Rosario was also tabled 183 ... this bill made it to second reading and vote.

These bills would have allowed the ombudsman to investigate school boards, retirement homes, long term and special care facilities, police review boards, and children's aid societies. In essence these bills would have helped protect vulnerable citizens from abuse by allowing an independent body to assist and investigate.

My questions for Andrea Horwath are as follows:

1) How come after three bills were tabled, two of which you tabled herself, fall through due to events beyond your control and you don’t even show up to vote on Bill 183 when it finally made it to a vote?

2) Is it correct that you chose to attend a Harper election celebration instead of voting for a bill you yourself have tabled and claim you support?

We lost six youth within a week to suicide why it is that no one is outrage of frightened by this. I went to Chris Howell’s rally in his memory on September 19th, I did not see Andrea Horwath, nor the Mayor. His office happened to be right across the street from the rally. My expectation on that day, regardless of the election or meeting, this is their town and by the love of God, they should have been there along with the other members of parliament. Period!

Alfredine (Linda) Plourde devotion in protecting children has brought about an idea to get the message out, in a upcoming bus tour across canada. She Born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, and as a grandmother has spend a great deal of time educating people on the dangers of CPS and their corruption.

As for a great many families that have been touched by CPS, or Children's Aid in Canada, the corruption knows no bounds, by what really does happen to children, when CPS get involved and takes kids away.

More information on the upcoming Bus tour will be posted. But for now keep in mind, that by working against the "system" exposing the corruption and actively bringing awareness to the Public about CPS and how they kidnap children for money. And how many children have died in government care, the truth about CPS and those who work in this corupt system, must be shown for the harm they really do to children in Canada.

How Protecting Canadian Children Started

Protecting Canadian Children was started when I immediately realized the failure of humanity toward families, and children in Canada. It is a mission of life and death, and a mission of love. It was not hatched by funding, but it was built by me and Visa. It offered no pay and less sleep. I dug into my own time and into what little savings I had.

Protecting Canadian Children grew in strength with the participation of everyday people united by a common goal- to ensure that no child will ever be used again as "merchandise" for the benefit of any institution, organization or Child Protective Services. Their safety and well-being is paramount not only for the sake of those children, but also for the whole of society.

In 2004, I received a frantic phone call from my daughter that Children's Aid was in her home. I was glad to hear they were there to help her with her family, or so I thought. I was your typical Canadian who truly believed that the Children's Aid was strictly there for the "best interests of the child" as outlined on their website. I soon found out that child protection has become a booming business, and our government has sold out our most precious resource on earth – our children!

I could never have imagined what followed, or believe what I witnessed with my own eyes. I will never forget as long as I live the horrific, cruel, and callous scene I saw the first time I set foot in the Children's Aid office. In no time at all you become suicidal; you simply cannot bear the pain. I was in hell! I became an eyewitness to the failure of humanity in our good country. The disastrous hell of the Children's Aid can no longer be ignored by the government, and by the people. This is not only my account, nor a study, or research of the breakdown of Children's Aid. This is real! This is about humans who are entrusted with helping families; instead, I watched people in control feed on the blood of the children who they were there to protect. I have watched with horror and frustration the passive, immoral attitude toward innocent families who desperately stand on their own like the Martin Family, and many others. I have witnessed firsthand what our Child Protective Services have become. It's toxic. In my opinion I feel we have now a third world war with Children's Aid. Children, the disabled and the elderly are the targets.

It does not represent who we are as Canadians, but represents what the Ministry has become. But there is nothing that can't be done if we raise our voice as one. Do you see the power if we change the I to WE???

Please stand tall for the little ones. For the love of children.

I want my children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews to know why mom, Ma tante, (auntie) and Mimi, were never the same after dealing with Children's Aid. I want them to know the best gift I can possibly give them while I am on this planet is a good country where no children should be robbed of their childhood because of greed. I want them to know that Grandma tried.

In year 2009, 120 children died (8 in Hamilton)

When I started to write this book, it was the first time I had ever published anything. I learned so much, even the cost of printing, and how much more it will cost with colour. So you can imagine the first time I approached a printer, he was asking $85.00 a book because of all the colours. I left awfully quickly. Re: Your launch campaign and critic - Children and Youth Services
First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your successful campaign on Saturday June 25, 2011. It was my first time at a launch campaign, and I was a very attentive attendee. It was my personal observation that I was attending a well organized and well orchestrated production. Under those three big screens, your script was in view under a good coach, and with the well planned scene, you brought meaning to the script. You didn’t miss a beat. Your stage presence was excellent.
You talked about:
• How people have been feeling ignored by this government
• Ontario needs to put people first
• Cutting emergency room wait times
• Create jobs
• Hydro, Gas, Taxes, etc - all very important subjects
The list is long and you are now ready to lead the province.
This worries me, as you chose not to speak up on one of the most critical issue in history in Canada. Something is killing our children. It is much more widespread than AIDS and nothing is being done about it. Children have become prisoners of Children's Aid and have been taken hostage, not by stranger down the street, but by someone who is being paid by tax dollars for their protection so they can be safe and secure. The abuse and the deaths of those children is a secret crime well protected by our government. We have an estimate of 100 children a year dying in Ontario. Corporations have enormous security guards. Kids are screaming out the pain from foster home to juvenile home and treatment centre. I call this " The Silent Scream for Help". Many give up hope: some have been forgotten and others are being murdered. Society doesn't even care enough to help, therefore, SOMEONE needs to listen.
I have being listening and did a lot of research. Are you willing to do the same as a Critic, Children and Youth Services? In the past five years in Ontario, there were 509 children who died under the ministry supervision. Nameless and faceless. Are you willing to allow this to continue and turn a blind eye to the pain, terror, and devastation of those children and families?
If you want to lead people, you need to be truly committed to excellence. Canada is in peril and, unless we deal with it now, we can say RIP Canada. You need to have a full commitment in all urgent crisis.
Miss Horwath, this is what I saw. You are cutting yourself from the common people who really need to be heard. And you have chosen not to talk about what is one of the most important issues - the Children’s Aid!!! The social worker system, as it applies to children, is out of control - seriously out of control. It is full of corruption with abuse of power.
In my view, this should be one of the key element that is crucial for the election process. Ensuring that the children are safe and well cared for. ACTION is urgently needed. I know you have fought for the Ombudsman but you are I both know this will not solve the problem. Why do we need oversight at the first place? They are there to protect children supposedly. That’s their job whether they want to do this job or not; whether they want to know about it or not. And you do know that the work of child-welfare organizations has become “parenting by the state and the burden of their value system on other people,” This is dangerous, and need to stop.
Here is my concerns and what I know:
• Delivering document by hand in your office does not get a response
• Not responding to telephone calls (you have a reputation for that). This is telling me that we don’t count, so I can only imagine if you win what will happen if we the people have a problem. You are not even Premier yet, and you are ignoring the common people. By the way, Tim Hudak does the same thing. Now our public servant are bold enough to show it doesn’t matter we have the people in the palm of our hands.
• Clearly your attention is not on the poorest to the poorest
• I believe you could make a good premier, you have extremely wonderful qualities. However, no moral and ethical people can justify the continuation of the social failure. If you don’t have love for the people in your heart you simply cannot give it.
• Many life can be changed if we are willing to all work together, and prevent these horrible child abuse in our own country Canada.
I like to have a meeting to discuss my further concerns.
