A large security zone around McCormick Place will be off limits to Chicagoans, and the Museum Campus, Lake Shore Drive and several major expressways and streets will be shut down before or during the NATO Summit, under a plan revealed on Friday.

A desperate White House is pulling out all the stops this week, a sign of things to come for the next 6 months. It’s not just about the dumbing down of politics, as it is the further dumbing down of our national conversation.

The White House took over comedian Jimmy Fallon’s late night talk show last night, in order to push its latest sound-bite policy propaganda, in the hopes of securing student votes. Obama was fawned by a crowd of 8,000 students at the University of North Carolina. This effort will be followed-up on Friday, as the White House has also organized Obama’s image on the cover of trendy Rolling Stone Magazine.

Failing in the polls, the White House has opted for the lowest common entertainment denominator – a cynical ploy to make America’s student-debt-ridden youth feel like they have a stake in the 2012 election, or to put it in trendy White House terms – to make them believe they have ‘some skin in the game’.

Jimmy Fallon billed Obama’s speech as a “Slow Jam with the President”, with his band playing smooth R&B in the background of his ‘low interest’ student loan pitch. Upon close examination however, it seems that Obama’s student policies are a series of lies, stacked on top of other lies. The President starts off with a standard propaganda line:

“What we said is simple: now is not the time to make school more expense for our young people.“

There’s only one problem with his grand sweeping statement – college tuition rates have been skyrocketing in recent years and that phenomenon has been a direct result of federal government pushing unlimited student loans, and pumping-up federal student entitlement money – a move that colleges admit has enabled them to raise tuition some 25% in the last 3 years. Research shows that the expansion of the grants and other federal aid has a counterproductive effect — giving colleges and universities a green light to soak-up the gains by increasing their tuition and other costs.

The net result of the Obama government’s interference in the college tuition market means that American students are now saddled with an average of nearly $30,000 in debts plus interest. In the last 12 years, college tuition in the US has risen by a staggering 900%.

For the bright, young, and gifted, these economic realities should really be studied very carefully before they sign their life away on the dotted line.

Students can now expect to be repaying their debt load off until they are at least 45 years of age – leaving many practical minds to wonder why as there is such a long queue of 17 year olds dying to sign their life away to JP Morgan, Citi Bank and Wells Fargo in exchange for, in many cases, upwards of $60-$120K in student loans.

Although Obama and Fallon’s performance might seem entertaining to some, the reality remains: there are no jobs for graduates in the United States right now. And tuition prices are still rising, a fact which will not change if the Obama Administration continues its inflationary, market fixing policies.

Of course, comedy host Jimmy Fallon has no idea about the economics of student loans, he is simply capitalizing on a great media opportunity to have the President on his show.

Fallon’s stage sidekick continues to dumb-down the subject, putting Obama’s convoluted political pitch to lyrics by singing:

“If Congress doesn’t act it’s the students who will pay, the right and left should join on this like Kim and Kanye…”

This, alluding to reality TV’s latest celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and pop rapper Kanye West.

But they’re not just dumbing-down the conversation, and dividing society along youth cultural lines. They are invoking class warfare talking points. Using the techniques of his mentor Saul Alinsky, President Obama goes on to divide by both party and class lines by stating:

“They (Republicans) say we should be doing everything we can to pay down the national debt – so long as it doesn’t include taxing billionaires.”

Here we have Obama simply encouraging students to do what the federal government has been doing with its massive debt – just kick the can down the road – and worry about their mountain of debt… later.

Nonetheless, comedian Fallon supports the Obama’s new-found election run communication technique of talking down to his student audience, an overall presentation which can only be described as patronizing.

Here, students who are content to be entertained – but not actually informed, would do themselves a favor to take a closer look at the system which has made them the new ‘higher-ed mortgage’ debt holders – where graduates are effectively defeated before they even get started.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, there is only one job available for every five college graduates in America. Fancy those odds? This means the best chances for employment in America is still a position under the Golden Arches.

The national economic outlook is far worse. According to the Seattle Times:

Student-loan debt has reached about $870 billion, exceeding credit cards and auto loans, and balances are expected to continue climbing, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York said last month…

“Student debt poses a large and growing threat to the stability of our economy,” Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan testified March 20 before a U.S. Senate judiciary subcommittee hearing on the looming crisis.

Here are the real facts, and what Obama did not tell you about those student loans:

More interestingly, however, is when Obama makes another class-wartime-pitch, claiming:

“Michelle and I, we’ve been in your shoes,” he said. “We didn’t come from wealthy families. When we graduated from college and law school, we had a mountain of debt.”

The President’s impressive claim attempts to give him “street cred” with America’s under classes, but it comes following the recent discovery that not only was Obama close family friends with convicted Weather Underground terrorist (and suspected federal informant) Bill Ayers’ family, but the Ayers had also paid for foreign student Obama’s pricey post grad tuition at Harvard, according the eye witness testimony of retired US Postal worker Alan Hulton. WND reported:

“He told me he had taken the train out from Chicago and had come to thank the Ayers family personally for having helped him with his education.”

Of course, there are millions of Americans who would very much like to see these alleged student loan applications and records which Obama claims to have, but unfortunately, no one is allowed to see them.

The fact of the matter remains that Obama’s identity and college records which could show he received aid as a foreign student – have all been sealed by executive order – his first act as President. Executive Order 13489 entitled “Presidential Records”, was signed on January 21, 2009, a act which uses the power of the executive branch to seal by law – and away from public view, all of the President’s historical documents.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the only reason someone would rush to pass this as their first law – is because he has much to hide from America’s public view.

After all the hype of Obama’s latest vote-collecting stunt dies down, students should pay close attention to this:

When you are finished with all the beers, drugs, sports, parties, games, sex, and find yourself 80K in the hole(plus interest), with little chance of landing a job after four years – you will most likely be competing for lower level jobs, against seemingly ‘uncool’ debt-free people who never graduated from university.

In the wake of the Trayvon Martin tragedy, the media and left-leaning politcians, along with extremist groups like the Neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement (NSM) and the New Black Panther Party (NBP) have all combined to create a perfect storm which appears to be nudging America in the direction of an all-out race war.

In addition, fake news reports of NSM’s armed Neo-Nazis patrolling the streets of Sanford, Florida were spreading through the media over this past weekend. Infowars went on to expose these as false claims on Tuesday.

When we spoke to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and its Director Mark Potok on Monday, the SPLC rightly confirmed that they had no knowledge of armed Neo-Nazi patrols in Sanford.

But when asked about the seriousness of the New Black Panther Party’s very public, on-radio demand for a ‘blood on the streets’ race war and their ‘Dead or Alive’ $10,000 bounty on the head of Trayvon Martin’s shooter George Zimmerman, and whether authorities should arrest their leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, as well as Michelle Williams and Chawn Kweli, the New Black Panther’s chief of staff in Tampa and a national spokesman, respectively - because their public declarations constituted hate speech… Potok told this writer:

“There’s no such thing as hate speech…”

“… there must be incitement, or an element of immediacy for authorities to intervene.”

Potok went on to add that for hate speech to be actionable, there must be what is termed as a “true threat” in legal language.

Certainly the New Black Panther Party should be categorized as a “hate group”, according to the SPLC’s previous categorization used to demonize numerous domestic patriot and sovereign citizen groups. In fact the SPLC has compiled a list of hundreds of “Natiivist” US hate groups . Surprisingly, the New Black Panther Party does not exist on their extensive list which comprises mostly of “Minutemen” citizen militia organizations situated along America’s borders.

So is the SPLC being selective in who they pursue, with regards to “domestic extremists”? According to their own documents, the SPLC’s main focus is clearly that of right-wing groups in America.

Certainly, the numerous Federal agencies will be selective in who they pursue, not least of all, because in many cases it is the Federal agencies themselves who are steering extremist groups – from the inside.

This could very well be the case with both the Neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement, and the New Black Panther Party, where both groups contain Federal controllers within their ranks.

History has demonstrated, however,that the most vociferous and vocal groups and extremist characters have been federally embedded plants, or “informants” from the FBI, CIA, or state police – in most cases, acting as provocatuers inciting violence, or fomenting class and ethnic conflict.

The list is endless – from FBI informant Hal Turner, to members of Bill Ayers’ leftist Weather Underground domestic terrorist group.

Federal documents revealed in 2007 that David Gletty, leader of a notorious neo-Nazi rally through the historically black Parramore neighborhood in 2006, was in fact an FBI agent.

“It’s one of the largest extremist groups in the country, and Gletty was one of the most visible individuals in the National Socialist Movement,” said Andy Rosenkranz, state regional director for the Anti-Defamation League.

Orlando City Councilwoman Daisy Lynum and other community leaders raised larger questions with the Orlando Sentinel as to whether the event itself had been deliberately staged by law enforcement despite the fact that it bolstered racial division.

“If it was staged, I would feel very uncomfortable and would ask for a full-scale investigation,” Lynum said. “To come into a predominantly black community which could have resulted in great harm to the black community? I would hate to be part of a game. It’s a mockery to the community for someone else to be playing a game with the community.”

A larger pattern of white supremacist movements led by FBI provocateurs has been shown in recent history …

Meanwhile programs including those funded by the Ford Foundation are on record funding and fomenting extremist racial groups under the banners of diversity and community activism, opting to prop up radical minority voices instead of more moderate causes.

SANFORD, FL -- The public is currently awaiting a decision from Florida's courts on whether or not neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman will be charged for firing the fatal shot that killed teenager Trayvon Martin.

Mainline pundits even agree now that if Zimmerman were to arrested for first degree murder or even a lesser charge - it would have already happened by now.

It's also clear that even if he were to face a criminal trial, both the media and certain left-leaning politicians' stellar performances to date have all but guaranteed that a Geroge Zimmerman hearing would likely decend into an embarrassing OJ Simpson-style circus, and make it more complicated to assemble Zimmerman a 'politically correct' jury of his peers.

Special Florida prosecutor Angela Corey stated to the media on Monday that she would not bring the Zimmerman case before a Grand Jury, opting instead to further investigate the case and review evidence. According to the Washington Post:

"Judge Corey previously told CNN she has never used a grand jury to decide on charges in a justifiable homicide case...

"We do a thorough investigation. We make that decision ourselves," she told the network.

Readers should also note that under Florida law, only a first-degree murder case may be presented before a Grand Jury, which would mean that extraordinary circumstances would have to come into play for Zimmerman's case to go that far.

An Infowars source inside the Central Florida courts system, and close to the prosecutor's office -- intimated to this reporter that, indeed, Zimmerman's case has already been deemed to be "too tough a sell for a Grand Jury", and to expect a 'surprise announcement' after the special prosecutor has finished reviewing the case, possibly an announcement of a new hearing concerning the state's laws.

Panthers Call For Violent Revolution, Race War, Bloodshed Against ‘Honkies’ (Video)

Back in August of 2011, to the disbelief of some our readers, we reported that one potential Obama administration strategy for the 2012 election would be to Incite Race Riots and Use White Guilt in 2012 , and that they would operate covertly, behind-the-scenes to allow such an event to take place if it served their interests. While no evidence exists that this is what’s happening, it’s become evident that no one in Washington, especially the Obama administration or members of the Congressional Black Caucus, have made any attempts to quell the cries for a race war over the last several weeks. If anything, they’ve been complicit in allowing it to happen.

The following audio recording of a Black Panther conference call suggests that race conflicts in the US may become violent in the very near future, just as we recently warned.

The race conflict stemming from the Trayvon Martin incident is heating up. Armed Neo-Nazis are actively ‘patrolling’ the streets of Sanford to protect white people, and now the Black Panthers have taken their threats to a new level, even calling for the capture of George Zimmerman ‘Dead or Alive.’

“If you are having any doubts about getting suited, booted, and armed up for this race war that has never ended, let me tell you something… The thing that’s about to happen to these honkies, these crackers, these pigs, these pink people, these motherfuckin’ turtle people – it has been long overdue.”

While perhaps unpopular and politically incorrect, we are of the opinion that a double standard exists in our Federal government, and if a Caucasian blogger, radio host, author or individual web site forum contributor made the same remarks about violent revolution, race war and bloodshed directed at blacks and African Americans, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a host of other alphabet agencies would be immediately involved in a criminal probe. What America’s head law enforcer Attorney General Eric Holder does next will be key to identifying if the Obama administration is, in fact, supporting these racial conflicts behind the scenes.

Our government has made it a point to prosecute individuals under hate crimes legislation, often making it a spectacle in mainstream media. Moreover, the Department of Homeland Security asks us to be on the look-out for domestic terrorist organizations and suspicious behavior that my pose a threat to American citizens. Well, we see something, and we’re saying something. Will the government do anything? (We know DHS got this message, because they visit regularly)

It is our view that if we do live in a nation of laws, where everyone is equal under said laws, The President should stop nothing short of publicly decrying these calls for armed revolution and should initiate an immediate investigation into the planned violent activities of the New Black Panther Party.

Our sources explained that a new Grand Jury could very well be used at a later date, “in order to move the conversation away from the media’s current focus on race, towards a legal discussion regarding self-defense laws”.

Instead of a homicide charge, we can expect that “Florida’s ‘Stand Your Ground’ law will be revisited, at which time it looks like that the law may move in the direction of ‘retreat first’ if faced with a similar situation (as George Zimmerman).”

One of the other reasons Infowars was told that “race” may fall by the wayside in the Zimmerman case is because of an alleged soon-to-be-released report dating back to one year ago, detailing George Zimmerman’s pivotal role in helping to achieve justice for an older homeless black man in Sanford who was beaten up by a local policeman’s son, followed by a cover-up of the incident. Zimmerman went to multiple black churches in the area to seek help for the victim, and that Zimmerman’s efforts culminated in the eventual arrest of the assailant.

Apparently, information on this story has been readily available, but for whatever reason, the mainstream media has declined to follow-up on it.

In addition to the a review of Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, the case could be used as a political springboard for other more exotic election year issues – such as 2nd Ammendment Rights and gun control.

The establishment media is all over a story about members of a crackpot “National Socialist movement” from Detroit “occupying” Sanford, Florida, where Trayvon Martin was killed.

And yet they do not talk about violent racist threats by the New Black Panther Party (NBPP).

Both groups represent the lunatic fringe of American politics.

“We are not advocating any type of violence or attacks on anybody, but we are prepared for it,” Nazi Commander Jeff Schoep told the Miami New Times.

The NBPP, on the other hand, have called for bloodshed, violence against “crackers,” and the end of capitalism.

The NBPP has teamed up with “Million Hoodies for Trayvon Martin Coalition,” as the flyer taken from their website below reveals. A crosshair on a photo of George Zimmerman – who has yet to be arrested and is in hiding fearing for his life – demonstrates the sort of vigilante justice the New Black Panthers have in mind: taking Zimmerman “dead or alive,” as the diatribe by NBPP Chief of Staff Michelle Williams makes clear in the above video.

The National Chairman of the New Black Panther Party, Malik Zulu Shabazz, has called for a national “day of action” scheduled for April 9, a day before a grand jury is scheduled to begin hearing the Trayvon Martin case.

“[Then] On Monday, April 9 we have teamed up with over 300 organizations in a national and international coalition and are calling for a national strike…and a day of absence, where there is no work, no school, and no shopping in the cause of justice for Trayvon and the immediate arrest of Zimmerman and charging him with the appropriate charges,” Shabazz said on April 1.

How would you feel if a group of young thugs punched you in the face, knocked you to the ground, stripped you naked by raping you and took off with your car keys, your watch, your money and your cell phone? Well, that is exactly what happened to one man in Baltimore recently and it was all caught on camera. Perhaps the most frightening thing about this incident is that nobody from the crowd of onlookers helped this man. Instead, most of them appear to have been too busy laughing hysterically at what was happening to him. Sadly, this kind of behavior is becoming all too common on the streets of America. The hearts of our young people are growing very cold, and in a lot of major U.S. cities it is simply not safe to go strolling around after the sun goes down anymore. The man in the video that you are about to see is lucky to have gotten away alive. When he was punched in the face he fell directly backward and in the video you can hear the sound of his skull loudly hitting the pavement. But instead of checking to see if he needed medical help, the crowd around the man descended on him like a bunch of crazed looters. This incident happened on St. Patrick’s Day, but it is only now that the media is starting to take notice of this video.

The video footage of him being violently stripped of his clothes and belongings is on YouTube and it is quite easy to find. But please be warned that it is quite graphic, and you might not want to watch it.

Sadly, this is just another sign of how much our society is decaying. And it is not just happening in the big cities. This kind of behavior is going on in every area of the country and not even the very rural communities are immune from the craziness that is going on.

As I have written about previously, America is becoming a very lawless place and criminals are becoming much bolder. Very creepy home invasion horror stories are being reported all over the United States and there has been a shocking increase in gang activity in the past few years.

America is rapidly changing and you simply cannot count on most people to show you even an ounce of compassion these days. Most people simply do not want to get involved in something that is not their business.

For example, would you stop and help an 86-year-old man with a broken leg that was crawling across the pavement at a gas station trying to get assistance?

Well, that exact scenario played out near Detroit recently. An 86-year-old World War II veteran was brutally carjacked in broad daylight. After the attack, his leg was broken and he could not walk. So he started to crawl across the parking lot toward the door of the gas station.

So did anyone help him?

Not according to the surveillance video….

A surveillance video shows Aaron Brantley, 86, struggling to get from the fuel pump to the gas station’s door to get help as people walked and drove by him Wednesday morning.

This is what America is becoming. A place where nobody cares about each other.

If you get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, don’t count on anyone helping you out or even showing you a single ounce of compassion.

But just because the hearts of most Americans are growing cold and hard does not mean that has to happen to you. The next time that you see someone in a desperate situation out on the streets I hope that you will remember to stop and be kind to that person.

It’s no surprise that Al Sharpton and his fellow rabble-rouser, Jesse Jackson, are doing everything they can to stir passions to the boiling point regarding the death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida. That’s been their modus operandi for more than 20 years. Does anybody remember Tawana Brawley, the fake rape victim Sharpton used as his first stepping-stone to national fame (or should I say infamy)?

But I can’t remember a time when the media were so eager to give nationwide publicity to every vicious lie and racist accusation. Forget about trying to get calmer heads to prevail or any of that nonsense about not rushing to judgment. The media want someone’s head on a platter (or at least George Zimmerman’s body in jail). And they want it now.

If they have to doctor the facts a bit to get it, so what? They’re willing to use some incredibly dishonest means to see that “justice” is done.

NBC was guilty of one of the most egregious examples, when it ran a clip on the Today show of George Zimmerman’s call to 911. According to the excerpt NBC broadcast, Zimmerman said, “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”

Obviously, NBC wanted its audience to believe that Zimmerman is a Neanderthal racist who wouldn’t hesitate to gun down an innocent 17-year-old just because he was black.

As it turns out, Zimmerman did utter those words. But the clever editors at NBC left out some incredibly important dialogue that occurred between the two sentences. Here’s what was actually said:

Zimmerman: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.”

It didn’t take the Southern Poverty Law Center long to turn the Tulsa, Oklahoma, shootings into a racist hate crime. Following the arrest of two suspects, the SPLC dredged up a racist comment from one of the pair posted on Facebook.

“Today is two years that my dad has been gone shot by a fucking nigger,” wrote Jake England. Alvin Watts, the second man arrested, apparently posted a sympathetic reply to England’s message about his father’s death. “O.b.a.m.a. Let me define. One big ass mistake america!” he posted elsewhere on his Facebook.

The SPLC then states that the “shootings come at a time when hate groups are surging – rising to 1,018 in 2011 – amid a climate fueled by rapidly changing racial demographics, a sour economy and the election of the first black president.”

According to the SPLC, since Obama was elected “the country has seen an increase in domestic terrorism by racist and antigovernment extremists.”

The SPLC habitually conflates racism and anti-government “extremists” in order to discredit organizations and individuals opposed to the policies of the federal government.

In the days ahead, the establishment media will attempt to portray the two suspected shooters as racists and this narrative will be added to the Trayvon Martin incident in order to further enflame racial tensions as the election approaches.

The leftist fringe has already exploited the Tulsa shootings in order to push the race war agenda. Following the arrest of the suspects, the Daily Kos declared the police and authorities in Florida are responsible for the murders in Oklahoma because they did not arrest George Zimmerman.

Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas Zuniga has a documented connection to the CIA and as a Democrat party operative has specialized in political dirty tricks.

Sanford, Florida, where Martin was shot under disputed circumstances, is now ground zero for a race war. The New Black Panthers, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the Congressional Black Caucus, and other latter day civil rights groups have used the city as a staging ground for their political agenda.

“Who was it who said that the Democrats should never let a crisis go to waste? Clearly, Sharpton, Jackson and their cohorts will use this tragedy all they can. Too bad the national media are so willing to help them,” writes Chip Wood for the New American.

Adding to the tension, members of the Detroit-based National Socialist movement have pledged to descend on Sanford to protect “the white citizens in the area” if there are race riots in the aftermath of the killing that has gripped the nation, according to the New York Daily News.




There can no longer be any doubt, the social engineers are trying to spark civil unrest as a distraction from the criminal looting the Banksters are carrying out. BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Caught on camera-- a white tourist being beaten in downtown Baltimore and instead of helping him, a black crowd laughs and steals his belongings.

The video shows a man being punched in the face in Downtown Baltimore. You can hear his head hit the pavement near the entrance to Courthouse East.

Instead of helping, people laugh.

Then, the crowd strips him naked and takes his car keys, watch, money and iPhone.

It happened St. Patrick's Day. Police say the victim was out partying and woke up the next day at his hotel, cut and bruised with no idea why.

"He had every right to leave wherever he was and get back to where he needed to be safely. Their behavior was just criminal," Det. Nicole Monroe of the Baltimore City Police Department said.

"Not only was he relieved of his property after he was assaulted, but there were a lot of other things done to him that are disturbing to look at, and we want to bring these people to justice," Det. Monroe said.

Those who've seen the video are outraged.

"Oh, my god! Where's the police?" Antonio Richardson of Baltimore said after seeing the video. "It gives us a bad name, Baltimore. And people don't want to, you know, trust us to come down here."

"It's surprising, but it's dangerous," another person said.

"It's awful, obviously. You just have to be really careful on those days. You can't just be wandering around the streets," Diego Tapia said.

Police say they've gotten leads but made no arrests.

"The public is going to be helpful in this case, and they have been helpful thus far," Det. Monroe said.

Those who filmed it for fun and posted it for the world to see unwittingly provided cops and prosecutors with the key evidence in this vicious attack.

The victim didn't even know that such a video existed until a relative watched it online and told him.

After the attack, people bragged about it on camera. Tens of thousands of people have seen the video online.

Man, 78, beaten by teens: ‘This is for Trayvon’

It was six against one.

Six juveniles — the youngest 11, and the oldest 17 — nearly boxed in Dallas Watts, a 78-year-old man from East Toledo.

Mr. Watts was on his way home from the nearby Gas Express Mart at Starr Avenue and White Street about 4:45 p.m. Saturday when the boys approached him.

One pointed at Mr. Watts and said, “take him down,” the victim recounted in an interview Monday.

Mr. Watts, carrying home two small bags of pork rinds to dole out as treats to his three dachshunds, looked at the youth and said, “Why you picking on me?” Mr. Watts recalled. “Remember Trayvon. Why you picking on me?”

The boy, again, allegedly told his friends to “take him down.”

The Toledo Blade reports that an old man was assaulted by a gang in retaliation for the killing of Trayvon Martin:

While Mr. Watts was down the boys kicked him, over and over, shouting, “[Get] that white [man]. This is for Trayvon … Trayvon lives, white [man]. Kill that white [man],” according to a police report.

Mr. Watts is 78, the assailants are teenagers.

No word if the Rev. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the Congressional Black Caucus will turn the assault into a civil rights crusade.

Danny Abdul Dayem, the establishment media’s poster child for a western military intervention in Syria, is touring America begging for a US-led assault on his homeland, despite being exposed as having faked war propaganda for the purposes of a CNN interview.

Although denying he is in the pay of CNN or any government, Dayem has been flying back and forth between Syria and the United Kingdom for months, and he has now arrived in America to begin a series of visits to Islamic centers to advocate a NATO bombardment to oust President Bashar Al-Assad.

“Everyone is saying we sympathize with you, we feel sorry. I know they do, [but] I need the government to move. We need military intervention. We need someone to save lives there,” Dayem told Here & Now during an event at the Boston Cultural Center.

Convoluted rhetoric about military interventions to save lives (which didn’t work out too well for Libya), has become a staple of Dayem’s corporate media patter.

Asked by CNN if the United States should invade Syria during a recent interview, Danny responded, “They can help, we’ll take help from anyone, Israel, we don’t care…this regime needs to be threatened, it needs to be attacked,” adding that the only way to stop Assad would be “an attack, an army attack, a no fly zone, that the UN hit all our air bases.”

Such talk has provoked suspicions that Dayem is working as an operative for western intelligence, and his antics in apparently staging propaganda for CNN to legitimize claims that Assad’s forces are indiscriminately killing innocent civilians has only deepened them.

As we reported last week, while waiting to make an appearance on 360 With Anderson Cooper, Dayem is heard preparing coordinated gunfire to make it appear as if he is in a warzone.

“Well, let the gunfire sound then,” he states, before subsequently asking someone off camera, “Did you tell him to get the gunfire ready?” An explosion is heard soon after, but Danny doesn’t even flinch.

During the original interview, Dayem claims that he is within 400 meters of where shelling by government forces is taking place, but during a subsequent interview with Cooper, Dayem states that the shelling was taking place 15 kilometers away in a different city.

On his official Twitter page, Dayem then invented a third explanation for his apparent efforts to coordinate fake gunfire, bizarrely claiming, “This was camera tricks by the Assad regime helped by Russians.”

Dayem’s Twitter account has now been suspended, preventing people from documenting the fact that ‘Syria Danny’ has difficulty in keeping his story straight from one media appearance to the next.

The interview with Cooper in which the two attempted to dismiss growing awareness of the likelihood that Dayem is an intelligence operative whose role is to grease the propaganda skids for a military intervention was noteworthy only for that fact that it failed to address any of the charges against Dayem and in fact only generated further suspicion.

Even the best laid plans of mice and men turn sour sometimes. This is never more true than in the cointelro corporate mainstream media sphere.

Dayem was caught conducting what appears to be staged media reports from Syria. Although the seasoned spin doctor Cooper is able to coolly direct their conversation, Syrian Danny cannot hide the obvious panic which had already set in as a result of being exposed as a stage actor manufacturing news in his alleged home country. The video below shows CNN’s point man Anderson Cooper conducting damage control with the mainstream media’s public face of the Syrian opposition, Danny Dayem who can be seen pleading on air, “Why would we have to manipulate anything?”.

Prison Planet’s Paul Joseph Watson details CNN’s recent PR defensive in his recent article, including repeated tacit admissions by a visibly uncomfortable Dayem, back pedalling in a vigorous effort to cover his own tracks after the leaked out-takes of these synthetic news reports were aired via a recent exposé on Syrian state television.

Ironic that Anderson Cooper’s CNN program is entitled “360″, as the the spin employed in their Syria coverage is nearly disorienting. As Dayem’s on-camera US media handler, Cooper himself is no stranger to the world of spooks, spies and media psy-ops, serving within the CIA from a young age. In terms of a well-documented CIA media operation like Operation Mockingbird, a trusted news celebrity like Cooper would be considered a prize asset in the agency’s agenda to influence US domestic and western foreign opinion for the purposes of winning acceptance of a said Washington foreign policy objective.

Any news anchor’s responsibility within Operation Mockingbird is first to plant, or “seed” and then repeat specific ideas and talking points for the mainstream discussion, while directing the conversation throughout, with the ultimate goal of achieving what social engineers describe as a ‘consensus reality’.

From its humble beginnings in 1980 as a perceived underdog to majors ABC, CBS and NBC, Ted Turner’s Cable News Network aka CNN gained the trust of American viewers early on and is still riding that wave today. In truth, CNN has actually pioneered fake news in modern US media – starting with the first Gulf War in 1991, when their producers staged a faux missile attack from a broadcast studio in Saudi Arabia- complete with blue screen back-drops, potted palm trees and fake air-raid sirens. Like Syrian Danny’s staged reports from Homs, CNN’s vintage Gulf War I agitprop theatrics also used fake gun fire sounds and mock explosions in order to make the American public believe something was happening live on air – when it really wasn’t (see vintage leaked video below).

The whole Syrian regime change agenda originally cooked up in Whitehall and Washington DC some years ago and hinges on making the western public believe that UNARMED Syrian protestors are the ‘opposition’ – and the ruling government is engaged in what CNN describes every 15 minutes as “a violent crackdown on opposition”.

According to other reports from networks that do not have a history of fabricating news – like Russia Today, the opposition are very much armed and engaged in random violence. Independent journalist and author Webster Tarpley corroborated this during his investigative visit to Homs in November 2011 when the alleged social uprising was supposed to be at its peak, only to find Central American-style ‘death squads’, and ‘opposition’ snipers were stationed on the roof tops all over the city, shooting unarmed civilians for the purposes of blaming the violence on the Assad government security forces, thus fomenting discontent with the ruling government.

By now it is very well documented that the western powers, along with Qatar and Saudi Arabia, are curently supplying arms and providing logistical support to foreign al-Qaeda militias inside Syria.

Watching Danny’s theatrical news reports, one cannot help but refer to Barry Levinson’s 1997 film Wag the Dog where Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman do Washington’s bidding and create a phony war in Albania (watch video below). This is taking the concept of yellow journalism to its extreme, but that’s exactly what CNN has done by fabricating its own staged war scenes and airing its unsubstantiated and highly dubious news reports of “more dead protesters” in Homs.

Now that the Syrian government has driven the rebels and so-called “Free Syrian Army” out of the city Homs the real picture is finally becoming more evident. Rebel mercenary forces are no longer able to hide under the cloak of chaos and faux corresponents mince reports of civilian dead with armed militia dead – a convoluted death toll statistic which has become the sole pillar of any intervention plans being entertained by the UN, but hatched and masterminded in Whitehall and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Even amongst the externally engineered violence taking place within their own borders, Syrians turned out in droves to vote in favor of their own new constitutional reforms, boasting voting numbers that dwarf western democratic turn-outs in countries like the US and Great Britain. Still, the western voices led by Hillary Clinton in Washington and William Hague in Britain are relentlessly clamouring for a violent overthrow of President Assad’s ruling secular government.

One of Danny’s main jobs for CNN seems to be helping to inflate the death toll of alleged peaceful protesters in the city of Homs. Western proponents of regime change are looking for that irrefutable, magic casualty announcement of “10,000 innocents dead from Assad government crack-downs”. This number of 10,000 will be used by the UN security council’s new humanitarian bully pulpit, accompanied by the ever popular strap line “genocide” – all designed to ram through a resolution or international ‘no fly zone’ in Syria.

Danny is clearly playing both sides of the fence – not quite the activist and all the while appearing to be playing the reluctant journalist hack for CNN. Critics of Syrian Danny are currently split between those who think he is merely a naive ‘useful idiot’, and those who believe he is a British intelligence operative of Syrian descent who was planted in Syria in order to give the sell the existence of a bonafide Syrian opposition – something the Western axis powers and its media outlets have had considerable difficulty doing since the Syrian uprising began in 2011. Judging by the level of obvious panic and confusion Danny displayed in his last CNN in studio interview with Anderson Cooper, one might guess that he is not a seasoned operative, rather a young, naive opportunist who volunteered to become a western media tool to further some personal or political ambition. Danny Dayem is simply playing his role in Syrian Spring fable, helping to sway western public opinion towards regime change in Damascus.

Little is known about Danny’s personal history, like how many years he lived in the UK, or what university he attended there, and most importantly, if his parents or family have any links to the British or American foreign services. Danny speaks with a classic cockney, or ‘mockney‘ accent (mockney is a common term to describe a type of London accent spoke by foreigners who have resided in the UK for long periods of time). Knowing more about him would help greatly to either dispell – or clarify a number of myths surrounding CNN’s arab media upstart. His accent certainly indicates that he has spent more time outside of Syria than inside of Syria.

Danny, who alleges he is from Syria, will not likely be able to return to his native land after being compromised so publicly – not least of all for fear of him facing charges of treason in aiding western intelligence agencies in their propaganda war to destabilize and usurp the legitimate government of that sovereign nation. Danny’s options are limited now, especially after being exposed as a fake opposition activist where its unlikely he’ll be taken on by CNN in any official journalist capacity. If it turns out that he is indeed an intelligence asset for the British Foreign Office and the MI6 then he has already been “outed” by his untoward media exposure. All of these factors do not add up to a very promising career path for Mr Dayem, and is certainly a cause for worry for his own sake.

Shape-shifting Danny’s ambiguous media role-playing adventure may end up being his Achilles heel – no protection from either side, but with plenty of people gunning for him. He could easily be dumped by the same establishment whom he crawled into bed with.

Footage appears to show “activist” coordinating fake gunfire

Astounding footage has emerged of ‘Syria Danny’ – the dubious “activist” who appears on mainstream news every week begging for a US or Israeli military invasion – in which he apparently coordinates gunfire and explosions to be staged during his interview with CNN.

As we have previously documented, ‘Syria Danny’ is a 22-year-old British citizen of Syrian descent from Cambridge. After returning from Homs in summer last year, he lived in London for a few months before returning to Syria in December, from which point onwards he became the poster child for a western military intervention in Syria, begging almost daily on CNN for the United States or even Israel to bombard the country.

The clip above shows Danny being connected to CNN for one of the many interviews the station has conducted within him over the last few months.

While waiting to be connected, Danny says, “Well, let the gunfire sound then,” before subsequently asking someone off camera, “Did you tell him to get the gunfire ready?” An explosion is heard soon after, but Danny doesn’t even flinch.

The person working the camera, Danny himself, and at least one person off camera, clearly appear to be coordinating staged gunfire and explosions to coincide with the CNN interview.

The cameraman then reminds Danny to talk about recovering dead bodies before the interview with Anderson Cooper begins. The talking point about Assad’s forces carrying out indiscriminate violence is strongly emphasized.

Despite the threat of the violence he claims is occurring all around him, in addition to his high profile as a media-friendly anti-regime activist which would make him a prime target, Danny seems remarkably calm and composed in an environment one would expect to be fraught with tension. At one point, he even appears to be bored, jokingly asking for a mattress.

Observers have noted that Danny’s stories about the violence he claims to have witnessed appear to change each time he appears on a different news show, suggesting he is embellishing or outright manufacturing his testimony.

In another clip, footage presented by the mainstream media as depicting “government shelling” of innocent citizens actually shows the camera shot being set up hours beforehand, ready to capture an attack on an oil refinery in the city of Homs which occurred on February 8. There is no evidence of tanks or “shelling” and the clip was likely produced by the same terrorists who blew up the oil refinery.




With some sources predicting that the NATO invasion of Syria could take place as soon as this month, it’s guaranteed that we will witness a great deal more propaganda broadcast by the mainstream media to perpetuate the myth that Assad’s forces are indiscriminately killing innocent “activists,” when in reality the opposition is comprised of armed rebels and Al-Qaeda terrorists who have also been responsible for indiscriminate violence.

Danny Dayem admits propaganda stunt video should have been deleted

CNN’s attempt to refute claims that dubious activist Danny Dayem, known as ‘Syria Danny’, was caught staging sounds of gunfire during a recent interview with the network only resulted in further embarrassment, when Dayem admitted that the suspect video “should have been deleted,” presumably to hide the evidence of his propaganda stunt.

Following our exposé yesterday morning, which documented how Dayem, who has become the establishment media’s poster child for a military invasion of Syria, had ordered staged gunfire sounds to be made off camera during an interview, CNN’s Anderson Cooper invited him to engage in damage control during last night’s show.

During the interview with Cooper, Dayem only succeeds in virtually admitting the fact that the video is suspect. Asked how the footage was leaked, Dayem starts to say ‘we should have deleted it’ before hastily stating, “this has all been deleted.”

“I don’t know how they got it, this is all private, we should have, this has all been deleted, we have to delete all this stuff,” said Dayem.

Why Dayem is so insistent that the footage should be deleted, unless it contains something incriminating, is not explained. The interview from the footage has already been broadcast globally by CNN, so why the need to delete the rest of the footage? Perhaps because Dayem finds it hard to explain why he tells someone off camera during the clip, “Did you tell him to get the gunfire ready?”

This quote is not even addressed during Dayem’s interview with Cooper.

Furthermore, on his official Twitter feed, Dayem claims a different excuse to explain away him being rumbled as staging the gunfire.

“This was camera tricks by the Assad regime helped by Russians,” claims Dayem, citing no actual evidence.

In addition, in the original CNN interview with Cooper, Dayem claims he recovered dead bodies from civilians who had been killed “400 meters” away from his location, yet in last night’s interview he claims the shelling was taking place 15 kilometers away in a different city.

Dayem then states that he wants to join the Free Syria Army, which is being aided by the same Al-Qaeda terrorists who helped NATO overthrow Gaddafi in Libya, in order to “protect my country”.

How that squares with Dayem’s previous calls for the United States, Israel, and NATO to launch “an attack, an army attack, a no fly zone, that the UN hit all our air bases,” is anyone’s guess.

Cooper tries to justify the fact that CNN has displayed brazen bias towards the Syrian opposition forces in constantly broadcasting dubious You Tube videos claiming atrocities by the regime, by explaining that Assad’s government will not allow journalists to enter Syria.

However, when independent Arab League observers did enter Syria, their subsequent report confirming the fact that there is indiscriminate violence on both sides of the conflict was universally ignored by CNN and the establishment media as a whole, who have heavily promoted the false narrative that only Assad’s forces are responsible for the bloodshed.

More evidence emerges of vote fraud to prevent Ron Paul winning

Yet more evidence of possible vote fraud has been uncovered in Maine, where several towns and counties did caucus but were omitted from the final state count for no identifiable reason.

As we previously reported, much to the ire of the Ron Paul campaign, Washington County – where Ron Paul was incredibly strong – had its caucus delayed by a week due to a warning of snow that never materialized.

In addition, some other towns had scheduled their caucuses differently to the rest of the State and will vote in the days and weeks to come.

Despite these facts, and despite Mitt Romney’s lead being just 194 votes after 84 percent of the voting had taken place, GOP representatives in Maine and the mainstream media declared that Romney was the outright winner, much to the disbelief of many onlookers, especially Ron Paul supporters.

Now it has emerged that Romney’s “victory” in Maine is even more in doubt.

Local reporters in Maine have pounced on the revelations that the vote for most Waldo County towns was entered as “0”, as if no one had turned out to vote.

Rachel Maddow expanded on the reports in a feature on MSNBC yesterday, pointing out that when one town in Waldo attempted to call in its results, State officials said they already had results from the town showing Romney had won, when in reality that wasn’t the case and in fact Ron Paul had won.

In Waterville, Maine, Ron Paul also registered a victory, however, Waterville’s results were also recorded as a “0″ on the final State Tally.

In addition, having said originally that their delayed votes would be added to the State total, Washington County is now being told by State party officials that its result will no longer count at all. This is most likely in anticipation of the fact that Ron Paul supporters could ensure that a huge turnout in the county would hand the Congressman the victory, forcing the Maine Republican Party to backtrack and change the result, as officials were forced to do in Iowa last month.

Waldo County Republicans have called for a censure of Maine Republican Party Chairman Charlie Webster for his handling of the caucuses.

The anomalies that have been reported have been dismissed as “clerical errors”, however, the picture is becoming clear. In key places where Ron Paul won in Maine, the votes were simply omitted and ignored by the Republican Party.

The Paul campaign has been vocal about its disappointment with the Maine caucuses. Yet Paul’s campaign staff and Paul himself have pointed out that caucuses are nothing more than a straw poll, and the real contest is in the behind the scenes delegate selection process, where they believe they have cleaned up.

However, it also seems that anomalies have occurred in the delegate selection process in Maine. Local press has reported that in Portland, votes involving the choice of delegates to the state GOP convention, somehow got messed up, prompting officials to declare the vote void.

Many Ron Paul supporters are now calling on the campaign to demand an official recount and an investigation into whether vote fraud has occurred.

‘Progressive’ government mouthpiece routinely attacks Alex Jones, Ron Paul

An investigation by the Daily Caller has confirmed that the leftist organization Media Matters, which routinely attacks Alex Jones and Infowars, is an Obama administration front that strategizes with the White House on a weekly basis on how to influence and direct the media.

Media Matters has habitually attempted to denigrate and smear Alex Jones and his message of liberty, by dismissing Jones as a crazed “conspiracy theorist” and then connecting him to other targets of their attacks, people like Ron Paul, Glenn Beck, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Lou Dobbs and the Fox News network.

Media Matters also recently defended Janet Napolitano’s Department of Homeland Security by impugning an Infowars story about the DHS targeting white middle class Americans as terrorists, and then deriding other media networks for also covering the issue.

The organization has also routinely carried smear attacks implying that questioning the official story behind 9/11 is some kind of thought crime, despite the fact that six of the ten 9/11 commissioners have disputed the government’s account.

A new investigation into Media Matters by the Daily Caller has revealed that the organization conducts “a weekly strategy call with the White House” and that an Obama administration representative meets with Media Matters reps at the Common Purpose Project meeting at the Capitol Hilton on 16th Street in Washington every Tuesday evening.

“Media Matters has been in regular contact with political operatives in the Obama administration,” states the report. “According to visitor logs, on June 16, 2010, (David) Brock and then-Media Matters president Eric Burns traveled to the White House for a meeting with Valerie Jarrett, arguably the president’s closest adviser. Recently departed Obama communications director Anita Dunn returned to the White House for the meeting as well.”

Media Matters brags about how it works with the White House to control big media networks. “We were pretty much writing their prime time,” a former Media Matters employee said of the cable channel MSNBC. “But then virtually all the mainstream media was using our stuff.”

The group also targets journalists who refuse to be water carriers for Media Matters’ propaganda. “If you hit a reporter, say a beat reporter at a regional newspaper,” a Media Matters source said, “all of a sudden they’d get a thousand hostile emails. Sometimes they’d melt down. It had a real effect on reporters who weren’t used to that kind of scrutiny.”

The investigation also reveals that current Media Matters head David Brock lives in paranoia that “right-wing assassins” want to kill him and is regularly surrounded by bodyguards. Brock also carries a gun despite Media Matters’ vehement support for gun control policies.

As we have previously reported, Media Matters barely even attempts to hide the fact that it is a mouthpiece for the Obama administration and the political elite.

Media Matters is tied at the hip with Think Progress as part of John D. Podesta’s Progressive Media propaganda campaign, described as a “war room for promoting the foreign and domestic policies of Barack Obama.” Podesta, Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff, also helped found Media Matters. The organization also received a $1 million contribution from billionaire globalist George Soros back in 2010.

Podesta, who headed up Barack Obama’s presidential transition team, founded The Center for American Progress, which is tasked with “driving the White House’s message and agenda”.

According to SourceWatch, “CAP’s Progressive Media project emerged as a major communications war room on behalf of Obama’s domestic and foreign policy agenda and CAP became a strong advocate for escalation in Afghanistan. Progressive Media is run through the Center for American Project Action Fund, the more political 501(c)4 arm of CAP. It coordindates closely with the Common Purpose Project, an effort to create message discipline among the pro-Obama organizations, with a direct tie to the White House.”

Media Matters’ sister organization Think Progress, also founded under the umbrella of Podesta’s Center for American Progress, has aggressively attacked Alex Jones, even blaming him for influencing Richard Poplawski in the 2009 murder of three Pittsburgh police officers, despite the fact that numerous other leftist media organizations were forced to retract the baseless claim.

Media Matters has now been completely exposed as little more than an attack dog for the Obama administration. The fact that Alex Jones is regularly smeared by this organization proves that Infowars is hitting the establishment where it hurts and taking flak from the very top of the power structure.

Part I

On February 7, the Air Force Times posted an article quoting Michael A. Sheehan, the assistant secretary of defense for special operations and low intensity conflict at the Pentagon.

“Quite frankly, we, the American people, were asleep at the switch, the U.S. government, prior to 9/11. So an organization that wasn’t that good looked really great on 9/11,” Sheehan told the annual Special Operations, Low Intensity Conflict Planning Conference.

“Everyone looked to the skies every day after 9/11 and said, ‘When is the next attack?’ And it didn’t come, partly because al-Qaida wasn’t that capable. They didn’t have other units here in the U.S. … Really, they didn’t have the capability to conduct a second attack.”

Sheehan’s comments underscore the fact that al-Qaeda was until recently a prized asset in the manufactured war on terrorism. It is not, as numerous officials and so-called terror experts have warned for over the span of a decade, a terrorist organization with global reach capable of launching attacks inside the United States.

Shortly before his untimely death, former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook told the House of Commons that al-Qaeda is not a terrorist group, but rather a contrivance based on a database of international Mujaheddin fighters used by the CIA and Saudis to funnel guerrillas, arms, and money into Soviet-occupied Afghanistan in the 1980s.

“The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called al-Qaeda,” writes Pierre-Henry Bunel, a former agent for French military intelligence. “And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the ‘devil’ only in order to drive the ‘TV watcher’ to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the US and the lobbyists for the US war on terrorism are only interested in making money.”

An unbiased examination of the record uniformly ignored by the establishment media reveals that al-Qaeda served not only as a pretext to invade Afghanistan, but was also employed in a number of other intelligence operations.

The fable spun by the establishment and its propaganda media tells us that the Afghan Mujahideen that would later coalesce into al-Qaeda was an indigenous phenomenon in response to the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. But as Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser, Zbigniew Brezinski, confirmed during a 1998 interview with Le Nouvel Observateur, the Mujahideen was created by the United States prior to the Soviet invasion.

“According to the official version of history, CIA aid to the Mujahadeen began during 1980, that is to say, after the Soviet army invaded Afghanistan, 24 Dec 1979. But the reality, secretly guarded until now, is completely otherwise Indeed, it was July 3, 1979 that President Carter signed the first directive for secret aid to the opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul,” Brzezinski said.

Working with Pakistan’s ISI intelligence service, the U.S. recruited and trained Mujahideen fighters from the ranks of three million Afghan refugees in Pakistan and other wild-eyed Islamic militants from around the world. The CIA and the Saudis channeled between $3 and $6 billion dollars into the operation. It was later said the effort was “the largest covert action program since World War II.”

Future CIA director and Defense Secretary Robert Gates wrote in his memoir that the CIA “examined ways to increase their participation, perhaps in the form of some sort of ‘international brigade.”

A CIA official involved in the effort later explained that the CIA directly funded Maktab al-Khidamat, or MAK, the “charity” front Osama bin Laden would later run. MAK was “nurtured by Pakistan’s state security services, the Inter-Services Intelligence agency, or ISI, the CIA’s primary conduit for conducting the covert war against Moscow’s occupation,” the corporate media reported in 1998, before the script was revised and any mention of the CIA was swept into the memory hole.

According to the 9/11 Commission report, MAK was the “precursor organization to al-Qaeda” and Osama bin Laden “worked closely with Saudi, Pakistani, and US intelligence services to recruit mujaheddin from many Muslim countries,” a fact reported prior to the establishment media following the war on terror narrative in the wake of 9/11.

Norm Dixon writes that John Cooley, a former journalist with the US ABC television network and author of Unholy Wars: Afghanistan, America and International Terrorism, revealed that Muslims recruited in the US for the Mujaheddin were sent to Camp Peary, the CIA’s spy training camp in Virginia, where young Afghans, Arabs from Egypt and Jordan, and even some African-American “black Muslims” were taught “sabotage skills.” These “skills” would come in handy later as the CIA developed its al-Qaeda asset and launched the global war on terrorism.

Following the defeat of the Soviets, the CIA continued its work with Mujahideen factions that would soon blossom into al-Qaeda. CIA contractor Billy Waugh detailed the CIA’s role in assisting al-Qaeda in a 2004 autobiography.

In 1991, the CIA asset MAK began recruiting fighters who were sent to destabilize the Balkans prior to the U.S. attack on Yugoslavia later in the decade.

“Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda terrorist network has been active in the Balkans for years, most recently helping Kosovo rebels battle for independence from Serbia with the financial and military backing of the United States and NATO,” Isabel Vincent wrote for the National Post on March 15, 2002.

The arrival in the Balkans of the so-called Afghan Arabs, who are from various Middle Eastern states and linked to al-Qaeda, began in 1992 soon after the war in Bosnia. According to Lenard Cohen, professor of political science at Simon Fraser University, Mujahadeen fighters who travelled to Afghanistan to resist the Soviet occupation in the 1980s later “migrated to Bosnia hoping to assist their Islamic brethren in a struggle against Serbian [and for a time] Croatian forces.”

The CIA’s MAK, also known as al-Kifah (struggle), established a “charity” front for the Afghan effort in Brooklyn, New York, in the 1980s.

In 1990, the blind sheik Abdul-Rahman entered the U.S. on a CIA-supported visa – despite being on a terrorist watch list – and soon dominated the al-Kifah Refugee Center in Brooklyn. Abdul-Rahman was heavily involved with the CIA and Pakistani ISI efforts to defeat the Soviets in Afghanistan. It was later said Osama bin Laden secretly paid Abdul-Rahman’s living expenses in the U.S. He was also a leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood, a group compromised by British intelligence.

A key figure in the plot was an Egyptian by the name of Ali Mohamed. He was a member of the U.S. Special Forces and worked as a “double agent” for the CIA. Mohamed, like Abdul-Rahman, entered the country under the visa program run by the CIA’s Department of Operations. He was, also like Abdul-Rahman, on a terrorist watch list.

Abdul-Rahman and others were ultimately convicted in a plot to blow up the World Trade Center. Elements within the FBI cooked the bomb for the plotters and allowed the explosion to occur on February 26, 1993, at the WTC. The explosion killed six and injured thousands. The CIA later blocked an investigation of Abdel-Rahman and his group and their involvement in the 1993 WTC bombing.

In 1994, the CIA admitted it was “partially culpable” for the World Trade Center bombing because it helped train and support some of the bombers. The agency dismissed its culpability as “blowback.”

In the mid-90s, the orchestrated emergence of al-Qaeda provided the CIA with a pretext to design and beta test a rendition program that would become fully operational following the attacks of September 11, 2001. The program was officially approved approved by Bill Clinton on June 21, 1995.

Beginning with the bombing of the U.S.-operated Saudi National Guard training center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in November of 1995, the CIA’s al-Qaeda began its long ascent as the premier terrorist group in a series of violent events that would culminate in the attack of September 11, 2001, and would inaugurate with unprecedented fanfare the war on terror and the high-tech police state.

Some sources claim al-Qaeda began its operation earlier, in 1992 in Yemen, when it allegedly targeted U.S. soldiers en route to Somalia where a military operation (Operation Restore Hope) was taking place under humanitarian guise. The operation attributed to al-Qaeda managed to kill an Australian tourist and a Yemeni hotel worker, but no U.S. soldiers were killed or injured.

The following year, in February of 1996, the CIA officially founded Alec Station, the Islamic Extremist Branch of the CIA’s Counterterrorist Center, run by Michael Scheuer. The establishment media began using the term “al-Qaeda” during the summer of 1996. It was claimed U.S. intelligence was unaware of the term until it was revealed that year by defector Jamal al-Fadl, but Billy Waugh and said the CIA knew of it in 1991 and double agent Ali Mohamed said he told the FBI about al-Qaeda by name in 1993.

CIA asset Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda would explode on the scene and into the public consciousness in 1998 with the attacks on U.S. embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya, and the bombing of the USS Cole on October 12, 2000.

In part two, we will cover the African attacks, the pivotal September 11 attack, and subsequent events that reveal beyond a shadow of a doubt that al-Qaeda, the terror group named after a database, is indeed a contrivance designed to foment a global war on manufactured terror and also provide an oft-cited excuse to turn America into a police state and dismantle the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

On Thursday, high-profile science journal Nature published a commentary by three academics, which argued that sugar is a toxin and that it should be subject to similar kinds of public-health interventions as alcohol. In other words, sugar should be taxed and restricted just like booze. It’s one thing to advise the population on what may be good or bad for our health. Many people have chosen to quit smoking, for example, for health reasons even though they enjoy it. But it is quite another thing to demand that adults should change their habits at the whim of medical researchers, politicians or campaigners. But when it comes to bans, taxes and other restrictions on sugar, we should do sweet FA.

One of the authors, Robert Lustig, runs an obesity clinic at a children’s hospital, part of the University of California, San Francisco. His colleagues and fellow authors, Laura Schmidt and Claire Brindis, are researchers in healthy policy. Lustig has gained an online following since 2009 for a lecture entitled ‘Sugar: the Bitter Truth’ (watch it here). While Lustig’s tone is rather melodramatic, there does appear to be a growing body of evidence linking refined carbohydrates and a group of related symptoms – obesity, fatty liver disease, type-2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease – that come together under the broad umbrella of ‘metabolic syndrome’.

It’s certainly the case that these chronic diseases have increased in importance in recent decades (in part because of the decline of infectious disease). Consumption of refined carbohydrates – particularly sugar – has increased, too. America has a particularly sweet tooth; the average American consumes 131 pounds (about 59 kg) of sugar and high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) per year, up from 113 pounds per person in 1966. A teaspoon of sugar weighs about 4g, so this amounts to 40 teaspoons per person per day. (And remember, that’s an average – some people are consuming considerably more.)

The UK has a pretty sweet tooth, too. A survey for the Food Standards Agency in Scotland in 2008 found that 17 per cent of children’s calorie intake was coming from ‘non-milk extrinsic sugars’ – that is, table sugar and sugar added to food. That adds up to about 20 teaspoons per child per day.

Gingrich is being charged so far with 1,500 alleged cases of ballot petition fraud

Had the same thing been carried out by a worker for the now-defunct ACORN, Republicans — and even Newt Gingrich — would have called it massive “voter fraud.” But the 1,500 acts of fraud, by Gingrich’s own admission, were carried out by a worker hired by his campaign, so it seems the media have barely noticed it.

Nonetheless, The BRAD BLOG has received confirmation from two different state agencies that the 1,500 alleged cases of ballot petition fraud said to have been carried out on behalf of the Gingrich campaign, in their unsuccessful attempt to qualify for the Republican primary ballot in Virginia, are now being carried out by the state Attorney General’s office.

In late December, after Gingrich had failed to turn in enough valid signatures to qualify for the Virginia primary ballot, he was caught on video tape telling a supporter in Iowa that the reason for the failure was due to a campaign worker who created 1,500 fraudulent signatures.

“We turned in 11,100 — we needed 10,000 — 1,500 of them were by one guy who, frankly, committed fraud,” Gingrich is seen and heard saying in video originally aired by CNN.

The former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives downplayed the incident, by explaining to the woman that the entire affair was “just a mistake,” after they had “hired somebody who turned in false signatures.”

Neither he nor his campaign, however, has made the name of the alleged “one guy” public, to our knowledge, despite the extraordinary number of fraudulent signatures created and turned in by that “one guy” in what an official at the Virginia State Board of Elections (SBE) described to us as “definitely an illegal act.”

News of the embarrassing criminal investigation is confirmed today, even as voters go to the polls for Florida’s 2012 GOP Primary, where Gingrich is facing off against front-runner Mitt Romney who, ironically — and uncomfortably enough for Republicans — may also find himself the subject of a criminal voter fraudinvestigation in the not-too-distant future…

Gingrich fraud investigation confirmed

In mid-January, in a little-noticed blog item by the Washington Post‘s Anita Kumar, it was reported that the SBE was requesting a probe by the office of VA’s Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R) into what SBE chairman Charlie Judd described as “irregularities” found on the Gingrich petitions.

Late last week, SBE Deputy Secretary Justin Riemer confirmed to The BRAD BLOG both the referral to the AG’s office as well as the fact that an investigation into the ballot petition fraud was officially being carried out by the AG.

“We’re not an investigative body, but this issue has been referred to the State AG by the State Board of Elections, after learning of allegations of fraudulent signature gathering in that case, and a number of others,” Riemer told us by telephone. “My understanding is that an investigation is under way,” he said.

When we asked what “other” cases had also been referred to the AG, he pointed us to them for more details, though he characterized the petition signature fraud as described by Gingrich, if true, as “definitely an illegal act.”

“We can confirm that there is an investigation underway,” Brian J. Gottstein, Director of Communication for the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia confirmed to The BRAD BLOG via email on Monday, “but other than that, we cannot comment about an ongoing investigation.”

When pressed as to whether Gingrich and his campaign were cooperating with the investigation, whether they had revealed the name of the “one guy” they claim created 1,500 fraudulent signatures, and what other cases were being probed as a part of the same investigation, Gottstein demurred.

“To maintain the integrity of any investigation, we can’t disclose details. Sorry,” he wrote.

He also responded that our related requests under the state of Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) were “exempt” from the act, presumably due to the ongoing criminal investigation.

Only Mitt Romney and Ron Paul successfully turned in enough valid petitions to qualify for the GOP primary in VA, which happens to be the home state of Gingrich, formerly a Congressman from Georgia, until he was forced to resign following an unprecedented ethics scandal in which he was fined some $300,000.

“Full of racist, anti-Semitic, and homophobic statements, not to mention a variety of quack science and conspiracy theories, the newsletters have once again become an issue as Paul seeks to stay in the Republican presidential primary for the long haul,” Fox Nation reported on Monday in a repost of a BuzzFeed article.

The newsletter in question mentions the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and puts the event in a light that questions the official government generated narrative: “We’re far from knowing everything, or even many things, about the horrific bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building,” Fox Nation quotes.

“Some people even think that the government itself could have been responsible. The government would not use its own agents, these people say. Spy agencies frequently use ‘false-flag’ recruitment. That is, the crazed men recruited into a ‘right-wing’ terrorist cell would not know they were actually working for the BATF, for example.”

The newsletter does not claim that the Oklahoma terror event was an inside job. It merely mentions that some people have questioned the official story, an act that is heretical to the government and its propaganda tools, including Fox News. Anything less than unquestioning acceptance of the government narrative is permissible.

Fox, of course, does not bother to mention the fact the government’s investigation of the attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City that killed 168 people was not only deeply flawed, but obviously a thinly veiled cover-up.

From the questionable physics of the explosions to evidence of cutter charges being used to witnesses to multiple explosions and more, the government’s story does not hold up under scrutiny. Moreover, the government went out of its way during the trial of Timothy McVeigh – a documented government agent – to refuse relevant witnesses to testify. The hit piece does not mention that key witnesses were murdered and grand jury members were threatened.

James Kirchick, writing for BuzzFeed, attempts to discredit Paul by linking him to Alex Jones: “Paul has long cultivated the support of conspiracy theorists, as evidenced by the content of the newsletters and his frequent appearances on the radio program of Alex Jones, perhaps the most listened-to conspiracy theorist in America.”

Kirchick’s conspiracy theory pejorative is to be expected. He is a fellow at the warmongering neocon Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the neocons are currently engaged in an effort to destroy Ron Paul’s campaign in response to his common sense call to bring the troops home and put an end to the wars waged by the neocons.

Millions of Americans are not deterred by the establishment media’s effort to derail Paul’s campaign by exploiting the long ago put to bed newsletter issue. They are interested in constitutional government and a restoration of our lost republic and will not be sidetracked by the efforts of chicken hawk neocons to wreck the Paul campaign at all cost.

Interview with Newt’s ex-wife ‘could end Gingrich’s career’

A bombshell interview with Newt Gingrich’s ex-wife set to air tonight could catapult Ron Paul into a shock second placed finish in South Carolina and confirm the Congressman as Mitt Romney’s main rival.

The interview with Marianne Gingrich, Newt’s wife of 18 years, “could end her ex-husband’s career,” according to a Drudge Report exclusive.

Despite a “civil war” erupting within ABC News over whether or not to air the interview before Saturday’s primary, the broadcast will go out tonight on Nightline, less than 48 hours before SC voters head to the polls.

Gingrich is set to hold a press conference today during which he will try to engage in damage control.

With current polls showing Gingrich in second place behind Romney, with Ron Paul and Rick Santorum virtually tied in third, any collapse in Gingrich’s support on the back of the interview would directly benefit the candidates immediately behind him in the polls.

If Ron Paul beats Santorum to second in South Carolina, and the scandal torpedoes Gingrich’s wider presidential campaign, it would virtually guarantee a Romney-Paul head to head for the rest of the primary contest.

The interview with Marianne Gingrich is said to contain “explosive revelations”. Newt proposed to her before the divorce of his first wife had been finalized, and when he and Marianne divorced in 2000, Gingrich had already taken up with Callista Bisek, his third wife.

“The interview, should it air before Saturday’s primary, would shine a spotlight on a part of Gingrich’s past that could turn off Republican voters in a state filled with religious and cultural conservatives who may cringe at Gingrich’s two divorces and acknowledged infidelity,” reports ABC News.

Gingrich’s dishonesty when it comes to his personal life mirrors his political career. According to Gingrich’s first wife, Jackie Battley, Newt shocked her by demanding a divorce while she was still in hospital recovering from cancer surgery. According to L. H. Carter, Gingrich’s former campaign treasurer, Gingrich said of Battley: “She’s not young enough or pretty enough to be the wife of the President. And besides, she has cancer.”

As we have documented, Gingrich is a ruthless Washington insider who routinely violates constitutional principles to serve the establishment. Gingrich is the ultimate RINO Republican, supporting Nancy Pelosi’s cap and trade plan, socialized health care, global government, and a plethora of other big government initiatives.

Despite obtaining the frontrunner position, when revelations about Herman Cain’s private life emerged last year, he was forced to drop out of the Republican race altogether.

Should the interview sink Gingrich’s presidential aspirations, the establishment will merely continue to throw its weight behind the anointed selection – Mitt Romney – who himself has a record of political deception on a par with Newt Gingrich.

Newt Gingrich lacks the moral character to serve as President, his second ex-wife Marianne told ABC News, saying his campaign positions on the sanctity of marriage and the importance of family values do not square with what she saw during their 18 years of marriage.

In her first television interview since the 1999 divorce, to be broadcast tonight on Nightline, Marianne Gingrich, a self-described conservative Republican, said she is coming forward now so voters can know what she knows about Gingrich.

In her most provocative comments, the ex-Mrs. Gingrich said Newt sought an “open marriage” arrangement so he could have a mistress and a wife.

She said when Gingrich admitted to a six-year affair with a Congressional aide, he asked her if she would share him with the other woman, Callista, who is now married to Gingrich.

Massive opposition file on Romney hits Internet

If you think you’ve already heard everything there is to know about Mitt Romney, think again. A 200-page document that appears to be Sen. John McCain’s entire 2008 election-year opposition research file on the former Massachusetts governor hit the Internet with a vengeance Tuesday evening. And it’s an eye-opener.

The file explores everything from the assessed value of Romney’s house (“$3.162 million”) to his views on the Boy Scouts’ ban of homosexuals (“publicly opposed … in 1994 and 2002 campaigns”). It was made public Tuesday on the social media website Buzzfeed, although it appears to have been accessible online for two months.

The document, given the name “The Romney Book,” was viewed less than 100 times on the page where it was originally uploaded by its anonymous leaker on November 11.

Coming on the heels of last week’s dirty deception by the Huntsman campaign, several rabidly anti-Ron Paul political activists have been caught planning another vicious “false flag”-style dirty trick against the presidential candidate and his supporters, this time in South Carolina, where the next GOP primary will take place.

The plot, which was being hatched over Facebook, involved dressing up in hooded Ku Klux Klan (KKK) robes, posing as Ron Paul supporters (complete with Ron Paul signs), and “follow[ing] Paul around South Carolina”, making “sure to get photographed by the media.”

The thread proposing the idea was started earlier this week by Jere Brower of neighboring Georgia on the wall of the “Stop Ron Paul 2012″ Facebook group. On Wednesday, January 11th, Brower wrote:

“If you live in South Carolina and want to have some real fun with these Paulbots here is what we do- go online and buy or make your very own KKK robe, complete with hood (hood is important). Then get some Ron Paul signs off the internet or make your own. Follow Paul around South Carolina and be sure to get photographed by the media. Again, hoods are important. All can be Klansmen for Paul. Black, white, Jewish, Asian- those Paulbots will shit a brick!”

He quickly got a second from one Chris Collins of Gainesville, GA (only about an hour’s drive from the South Carolina border), who said: “That is seriously a great idea! Anyone wanna volunteer???”

Minutes later, Brower replied: “Chris, if we can get ten of us to do it, I am down, but where does one get KKK robes????”

When another member opined that the plan was not worth carrying out, Collins objected: “Well, actually, I disagree. Why not show the world the truth about the type on ilk that supporters Ron Paul? Let me think on this, Jere.”

In the video below, CNN’s Dana Bash is repeatedly criticized for her unfair coverage of Ron Paul.

On January 2, the corporate media correspondent said she was worried about the possibility of Paul doing well in the New Hampshire primary.

Paul came in second behind Mitt Romney on January 10.

Near the end of the video, Bash says she has received a lot of negative email about her biased interview on January 9 that was cut short by Jesse Benton, Paul’s campaign spokesman.

Oddly, she compares the criticism of her coverage to the Arab-Israeli conflict and says there is nobody in the media as fair as she is.

Bash apologists at TVNewser insist the comment made to her husband and CNN anchor John King was merely a “misplaced phrase.”

On January 10, Revolution PAC said Bash’s comments represent “strong personal bias.” Said Revolution PAC Chair Gary Franchi in a press release: “It is clear, when the Paul Camp has to end interviews early with her, that Dana Bash is tainting coverage of this election and deserves a reassignment.”

Following the media orchestrated circus earlier today in New Hampshire, Ron Paul terminated an interview with CNN correspondent Dana Bash after she said a voter was “turned off” by his decision to leave the diner in Manchester.

Before terminating the interview, Paul said the chaotic situation at a New Hampshire eatery was created by the media. “It says something about the media,” Paul responded. “Because you, the media, did that,” he said, pointing at Bash.

Following the interview, the New York Times tried to make it appear Paul’s patience with the establishment media has run out.

“This is the second time that Mr. Paul has walked out of an interview with CNN. He did it in December, albeit politely, when the political analyst Gloria Borger asked about his involvement with inflammatory newsletters,” writes Michael Barbaro for the Times.

It was later discovered that CNN edited the video to make it appear Paul had abruptly ended the interview. In fact, the interview had concluded, but Borger continued to ask Paul questions. CNN and the establishment media then said Paul had stormed off in order to make him appear angry and petulant.

Ron Paul’s presidential campaign has hired a consulting firm to analyze the YouTube video critical of John Huntsman attributed to Paul’s supporters.

The analysis conducted by CanDo.com concludes that the video was posted by Huntsman supporters, not Ron Paul supporters. It was intended to provoke a backlash against Paul’s campaign.

CanDo.com says it reached the conclusion because the YouTube account on which it was posted, NHLiberty4Paul, has no other videos and the video was posted on the same day the account was created. A Twitter account associated with the account was also created on the same day.

In addition, Huntsman’s campaign site, jon2012.com, linked to the video a day before it was picked up on Facebook, Gawker, RedState and before the establishment media attempted to denigrate Ron Paul’s supporters.

“After researching the available evidence, we believe it is likely that the video came from a source within or closely tied to the Huntsman Campaign,” CanDo.com concludes.

Here is CanDo.com’s summary:

Since no direct link to the video exists on Jon2012.com, how could YouTube show Jon2012.com as the referring site? Our best guess is that someone used a server on the Jon2012.com domain (such as webmail) to read an email that contained the link to the video. It is also likely that the first mobile views at that same time originated from links in emails. Clicking on a link from a webmail system on Jon2012.com would provide the needed headers for YouTube to record the link. …

Based on the evidence above and the coincidental timing of the release and subsequent events, it seems likely that a party close to the Huntsman campaign posted and distributed this video impersonating a Ron Paul supporter in order to cast Ron Paul and his campaign in a negative light.

The Huntsman campaign responded predictably to the accusation that operatives close to his campaign probably created the video.

“It is offensive that Ron Paul’s allies would claim that Gov. Huntsman’s own family would create such a video that distracts from the important issues that this country faces,” said Huntsman spokesman Tim Miller.

Unwilling to admit that the Paul campaign had nothing to do with the video and it was not created by his supporters, Miller attempted to characterize the results of the CanDo.com analysis as a conspiracy theory.

“Their latest conspiracy theory is nothing more than an attempt to cover for one of their racist supporters. The Paul campaign has botched the response to this shameful video from the beginning. Had they simply condemned the video and their supporter, we would be discussing the important issues facing our country. Instead their ridiculous and easily debunked ‘commission report’ will continue to focus attention on this shameful video,” said Miller.

"THE FRAUD" being used by the mainstream media, Government and the Global elite on Ron Paul

A YouTube video posing as a political ad is the latest effort to chip away at candidate Ron Paul’s rising popularity. The video shows candidate John Huntsman talking Chinese to his adopted daughter and questions his patriotism.

Huntsman was U.S. ambassador to China before entering the GOP race. He has trailed in the race behind Paul, Romney and Santorum.

Ron Paul responded to criticism by stating that he had nothing to do with the video. “I couldn’t even hear it, haven’t looked at it, but people do that, and they do it in all campaigns,” Paul said on Friday.

While the establishment media makes it appear the video is the work of dangerous Ron Paul supporters – invariably characterized as kooks, libertarian fanatics, or truthers – research by The End Run website reveals that the video may be a false flag possibly created by the Huntsman campaign itself:

The video was uploaded by a user called “NHLiberty4Paul” on Wednesday, January 4. A quick look at the user’s channel page (archived here as a backup) shows that the account was created the exactly same day that the video was uploaded. This brand new, anonymous user has, of course, zero other uploads.

Furthermore, according to the publicly-viewable stats provided by YouTube, the very first place this video was posted was Jon Huntsman’s campaign website, Jon2012.com. This was done on November 4, the very day the video was uploaded to YouTube, and before the video had received any traffic from other sites. (Emphasis in original.)

Huntsman’s campaign immediately criticized the anonymous video and demanded that Ron Paul disavow it, which he did. “The ad is offensive and the Paul campaign and their supporters should condemn it,” Huntsman spokesman Tim Miller told The Salt Lake Tribune.

On Thursday, the Paul haters seized the video as evidence of the supposed vileness of Ron Paul’s supporters. Leon H. Wolf, a Red State blogger, steered the controversy back into the false right-left paradigm used to keep political discussion within parameters acceptable to the ruling elite.

“Providing us with yet more evidence that they are mostly liberal Democrats who are mad that Obama has governed too far to the right, Ron Paul supporters decided this was a good reason to produce a video putting Huntsman in a Mao hat and jacket, complete with what is I guess supposed to be a Chinese version of blackface,” Wolf writes.

The Washington Post – known as the crown jewel of Operation Mockingbird – also trawled the crazy Ron Paul supporter line in an effort to discredit Paul.

“One of the best arguments against Ron Paul? The people who support him.,” writes Alexandra Petri. She immediately connects the long ago debunked racist newsletters critics have doggedly attempted to attribute to Paul.

On the internet, she continues, “it is intensely easy to make an egregiously bad ad and get a great deal of attention very quickly, and no one need know who you are.” Of course, she fails to mention that it was Huntsman’s campaign and anti-Paul bloggers who drew attention to the suspicious video.

“Our experience with Ron Paul supporters makes it possible for us to believe that this is the work of a Ron Paul supporter. And when you’re the candidate of such fans, it’s a bad sign,” Petri writes.

The LA Times also insinuated that Ron Paul’s supporters had something to do with the video, as did the San Francisco Chronicle.

Both Fox News and CNN felt compelled to run the “ad” on national television. It also provided Huntsman’s family the opportunity to go on television and promote the candidate who has trailed in the polls for weeks.

“Meanwhile, this story has generated more positive press for Huntsman than money could buy. Endearing images of him with his adopted daughters are all over the media, along with quotes of him explaining how he heroically saved them from a bleak fate,” notes The End Run.

Despite the actual responsibly for the video, the controversy is strategically placed as the race heads into the New Hampshire primary. Arrayed anti-Paul forces are determined to take him down during the primary so Romney can sail into the South Carolina and Florida primaries without having to worry about Ron Paul and his talk about constitutionally limited government and ending the wars enthusiastically supported by the other candidates.

A conservative, pro-Israel group is set to air a new ad in South Carolina blasting GOP White House hopeful Ron Paul on foreign policy.

In the ad from the Emergency Committee for Israel, Christian conservative leader and 2000 presidential candidate Gary Bauer says “we can do better” than Paul.

Ron Paul supporter adamant of 20 vote discrepancy during caucus

GOP officials in Iowa have dismissed reports circulating online that there was a significant flaw in vote counting during Tuesday’s caucuses, and have ruled out the possibility of overturning the results.

“Iowa GOP officials have been in contact with Appanoose County Republican officials tonight and do not have any reason to believe the final, certified results of Appanoose County will change the outcome of Tuesday’s vote.” wrote Iowa Republican Party Chairman Matt Straw in a statement Thursday night.

“Out of respect to the candidates involved, party officials will not respond to every rumor, innuendo or allegation during the two week process,” Strawn added.

The statement came in response to claims of discrepancies by a Ron Paul supporter in Appanoose County, who told an Iowa TV station that he believes there was a 20-vote discrepancy in the numbers he recorded from his caucus and the numbers that the Iowa Republican Party reported.

“When Mitt Romney won Iowa by eight votes and I’ve got a 20-vote discrepancy here, that right there says Rick Santorum won Iowa,” Edward True told KCCI TV. “Not Mitt Romney.”

True, 28, of Moulton, said he helped count the votes and jotted the results down on a piece of paper to post to his Facebook page. He said when he checked to make sure the Republican Party of Iowa got the count right, he was shocked to discover that they hadn’t.

Monitoring a 53-person caucus meeting, True is adamant that Romney received only two votes. The Iowa Republican Party’s website, on the other hand, recorded that Romney received 22 votes from the meeting.

True filed an affidavit Thursday with details of his account, in which he wrote

“To not bring forth such a serious discrepancy in public right away, seem[s] to me to [be] the same as silencing the people.”

“This reminded me of a quote from the Father of our Country, George Washington: ‘If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.’” True added.

Following comments by an anonymous state party spokesman that ”True is not a precinct captain and he’s not a county chairperson, so he has no business talking about election results,” True responded on his Facebook page, noting

“Dear Iowa GOP, I am a nominated delegate for my Precinct and the true winner from the vote count in my caucus was Santorum with 21 votes. I am not a person in a position controlled by you I am in a position to serve the interests of the people I was nominated by. The 1st Amendment of the Constitution gives me the right to speak up and make sure the numbers are correct and reported honestly.”

Commenting on Fox News’ “On the Record” Thursday, Santorum said that he had spoken with Iowa officials who had told him that “there was one county where there was a 20-vote mistake in my favor, but there was a 21-vote mistake vote in Romney’s favor. So it actually netted out to what I understand is a one-vote difference.”

Iowa GOP officials did not refer to any such “mistakes” in their official statement.

While there is a two-week certification process, Iowa officials say that there were no discrepancies and the results will stand.

Whether these are mistakes or something more underhanded is going on, it once again highlights how the voting process can potentially be easily manipulated.

On the eve of the caucuses, we reported that the final vote tally was to take place at a secret undisclosed location.

Normally taking place at state party headquarters in Des Moines, the Republican Party of Iowa announced that the final count would instead be shifted to an unknown location. Officials cited non specific “security concerns” about Occupy protesters disrupting the tabulation process, despite the fact that Occupy protest leaders confirmed that there were no plans to disrupt the caucuses.

Several more anomalies were reported during the Iowa caucus voting process, including ‘computer glitches’ delaying vote counts, lax voter ID requirements, reports that lights went out during vote tallies.

In addition, hours before voting was underway, Republican strategist Dee Dee Benkie revealed during a radio show appearance that the GOP establishment were particularly worried about Ron Paul’s numbers and were offering sweetheart deals to move large voting blocks to vote for Romney or Santorum.

Insiders were also worried, however, that moving too many voters to Santorum could damage Romney’s chances and further aid Paul’s case. Thus a delicate balancing act was required.

The trouble with my uncle, Rick Santorum

If you want another big-government politician who supports the status quo to run our country, you should vote for my uncle, Rick Santorum. America is based on a strong belief in individual liberty. My uncle’s interventionist policies, both domestic and foreign, stem from his irrational fear of freedom not working.

It is not the government’s job to dictate to individuals how they must live. The Constitution was designed to protect individual liberty. My Uncle Rick cannot fathom a society in which people cooperate and work with each other freely. When Republicans were spending so much money under President Bush, my uncle was right there along with them as a senator. The reason we have so much debt is not only because of Democrats, but also because of big-spending Republicans like my Uncle Rick.

It is because of this inability of status quo politicians to recognize the importance of our individual liberties that I have been drawn to Ron Paul. Unlike my uncle, he does not believe that the American people are incapable of forming decisions. He believes that an individual is more powerful than any group (a notion our founding fathers also believed in).

Following Ron Paul’s suspicious third place finish in Iowa, Lew Rockwell posted remarks by Brad Funkhouser:

“I’ve been following Iowa GOP vote counts for a long time… They are being slow-walked… in 2012. Negotiations are going on… Cash is changing hands. Apparently GOP chieftains are ‘persuading,’ by one means or the other, Perry and Bachmann people who hold considerable sway over large blocs of votes to switch to Romney and Santorum – leaving Ron in the dust… Also abusing suddenly lax ID registration may have created many fake votes for neocons Santorum and Romney. Santorum has no organization, never drew over 100 people during his entire campaign. Of course he did bribe and received the benediction of of that ‘family’ leader who demanded 1 million dollars that were to be distributed in part to cronies. This is the biggest fraud since Kennedy stole the West Virginia Primary. Perry had built a pretty organization and was around 13% of the vote. He drew far larger crowds than Santorum and ends up with just 10%. Did those votes go. Santorum? Santorum didn’t earn 24% of the vote.”

In addition to irregularities in West Virginia, it was rumored that there was fraud in Kennedy’s favor in Chicago — where the vote was controlled by Mayor Daley’s political machine — and Texas where vice presidential candidate Lyndon Johnson was a senator.

Brad Friedman, usually astute on voting fraud matters, pointed out a number of “rules” not set by Iowa, but rather by the GOP establishment, including allowing voters to cast ballots without showing a photo ID.

On Tuesday, we warned that the GOP would try to fix the race in order to get rid of Paul. “Tonight’s final vote tally for the Iowa caucuses will take place at a secret undisclosed location, an announcement that has stoked fears of vote fraud amongst Ron Paul supporters, concerns that were heightened following a Republican insider’s claim that the GOP establishment will not allow Paul to win,” Paul Joseph Watson wrote for Infowars.com.

The secret location was announced after Occupy threatened to disrupt the vote counting process.

In characteristic gentlemanly fashion, Paul told his supporters the third place finish is “nothing to be ashamed of” and prepared them for the New Hampshire contest.

“I think there’s nothing to be ashamed of, everything to be satisfied, and be ready and raring to move on to the next stop, which is New Hampshire,” he said.

Americans were outraged after our elected representatives in Congress moved forward with over a trillion dollars in emergency bailout funds for banks, investment firms and failing corporations in the midst of the 2008 financial crisis. After tens of thousands of phone calls to the Congressional switchboard, overwhelmingly against the bailout funds, the American public was largely ignored by the majority of their elected representatives, who would eventually saddle taxpayers with a long-term debt in excess of $20 trillion.

In March of 2009, the American public resoundingly rejected the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. Obama Care) after it was made known that the bill would mandate, by force if necessary, that every citizen would be required to acquire health insurance. Not only did Congress and the President pass legislation that would, in a supposedly free country, require every American to forcefully pay for a service they may not want, but the more than 1000 page bill was written, introduced and approved before any Senator or Representative had a chance to read it, with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi famously saying:

“You have to pass the bill before you can find out what is in it…”

While those laws may be shamelessly contradictory to the fundamental Constitutional law of the land, and as outrageous as it was for Congressional representatives to ignore the American public’s calls to reject the bills, none of those come even remotely close to the most recent transgressions against the people with the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act.

As Americans enjoyed themselves with the holiday shopping season, Congress and the Executive branch worked tirelessly to destroy the 4th and 6th Amendments of the US Constitution, which protect an individual’s natural right “to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures” and ensure due process with evidence, witnesses, and public trial. The passage of the NDAA has prompted Senator Rand Paul to warn Americans that they could be considered terrorists for seemingly innocent activity and an an op-ed in the New York Times titled Guantanamo Forever? by U.S. Marine generals Charles Krulak and Joseph Hoar argued that the new legislation would essentially nullify aspects of the Constitution, saying “due process would be a thing of the past.”

One thing is clear with the passage of this legislation, and that is those Senators and Congressman who voted for its passage are violating their oaths to support and protect the Constitution of the United States, because everything in the bill is counter to the principles outlined in our founding document. As such, concerned citizens around the country are now actively pursuing grass roots efforts to utilize a never-before enacted power of the people: the recall.

Moving quickly on Christmas Day after the US Senate voted 86 – 14 to pass the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 (NDAA) which allows for the indefinite military detention of American citizens without charge or trial, Montanans have announced the launch of recall campaigns against Senators Max Baucus and Jonathan Tester, who voted for the bill.

Montana is one of nine states with provisions that say that the right of recall extends to recalling members of its federal congressional delegation, pursuant to Montana Code 2-16-603, on the grounds of physical or mental lack of fitness, incompetence, violation of oath of office, official misconduct, or conviction of certain felony offenses.

Section 2 of Montana Code 2-16-603 reads:

“(2) A public officer holding an elective office may be recalled by the qualified electors entitled to vote for the elective officer’s successor.”

While the Montana Constitution (and those of other states) allows for a recall to take place, there is some question about whether these powers, which are technically undefined by the US Constitution, can be used to remove acting Congressional representatives:

The website Ballotpedia.org cites eight other states which allow for the recall of elected federal officials: Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, and Wisconsin. New Jersey’s federal recall law was struck down when a NJ state judge ruled that “the federal Constitution does not allow states the power to recall U.S. senators,” despite the fact the Constitution explicitly allows, by not disallowing (“prohibited” in the Tenth Amendment,) the states the power to recall US senators and congressmen:

“The powers not…prohibited…are reserved to the States…or to the people.” – Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The issue of federal official recall has never reached the federal courts.

Nonetheless, we may soon find out, as Montana is spearheading the movement to remove both of their Senators from office, as per the petition draft that is now circulating:

“The Sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees all U.S citizens:

“a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed…”

The National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 (NDAA 2011) permanently abolishes the Sixth Amendment right to a jury trial, “for the duration of hostilities” in the War on Terror, which was defined by President George W. Bush as “task which does not end” to a joint session of Congress on September 20, 2001.

Those who voted Aye on December 15th, 2011, Bill of Rights Day, for NDAA 2011 have attempted to grant powers which cannot be granted, which violate both the spirit and the letter of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

The Montana Recall Act stipulates that officials including US senators can only be recalled for physical or mental lack of fitness, incompetence, violation of the oath of office, official misconduct, or conviction of a felony offense. We the undersigned call for a recall election to be held for Senator Max S. Baucus [and Senator Jonathan Tester] and charge that he has violated his oath of office, to protect and defend the United States Constitution.”

While there may be eight other states whose Constitutions allow for the recall of federally elected officials, the US Constitution itself has reserved these rights for the people of each state, suggesting that such a recall movement can gain steam all over the country, and may be our last best hope of restoring Constitutional rule of law to America.

The Pentagon’s global military design is one of world conquest.

The military deployment of US-NATO forces is occurring in several regions of the world simultaneously.

War pretexts and “justifications” abound. Iran is heralded as a threat to Israel and the World.

The war on Iran has been on the drawing board of the Pentagon for more than eight years. In recent developments, a renewed set of threats and accusations directed against Tehran have been launched.

A “war of stealth” has already commenced. Mossad intelligence operatives are on the ground. Covert paramilitary formations are being launched inside Iran, CIA drones are being deployed.

Meanwhile, Washington. London, Brussels and Tel Aviv have launched specific destabilizing initiatives “to choke Iran diplomatically, financially and economically”.

A stepped up economic sanctions regime has been formulated by the US Congress:

“a bipartisan consensus has emerged in Washington in favor of strangling the Iranian economy.” The latter consists in implementing “an amendment to the 2012 defence authorisation bill, designed to “collapse the Iranian economy”… by making it virtually impossible for Tehran to sell its oil.” (Tom Burghardt, Target Iran: Washington’s Countdown to War, Global Research, December 2011). :

This new wave of diplomatic hype coupled with the threat of economic sanctions has also contributed to triggering an aura of uncertainty in the market for crude oil, with potentially devastating consequences on the global economy.

Meanwhile, the corporate media has embarked on a renewed propaganda stint pertaining to Iran’s alleged nuclear program, pointing to “activities related to possible weaponization.”

In recent developments, barely acknowledged by the US media, President Barack Obama met privately (December 16), behind closed doors with Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak. The meeting was held in the outskirts of Washington DC at the Gaylord Hotel, National Harbor, Maryland under the auspices of the Union for Reform Judaism.

The importance of this timely private meeting under URJ auspices cannot be underestimated. Reports suggest that the Barack O / E. Barak meeting centered largely on the issue of a US-Israeli attack on Iran.

Writing in Haaretz, Israeli political analyst Amir Oren described the Barack-Barak meeting as a potential “Green Light” to Israel to launch an all out war on Iran:

“Is it possible that the half-hour meeting last Friday at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor, Maryland, between U.S. President Barack Obama and Defense Minister Ehud Barak will be remembered in Israel’s history as the moment at which Barack O. gave the green light to E. Barak — for better or for worse — to attack Iran?... Can this be seen as a sort of flashback to the talk between Defense Minister Ariel Sharon and U.S. Secretary of State Alexander Haig in Washington in May 1982, that gave rise to the (mistaken) Israeli impression that there was an understanding with the United States over going to war in Lebanon… “ No sign U.S. has given Israel green light to strike Iran – Haaretz Daily Newspaper | Israel News

Following this private meeting, Obama addressed the Biennial Plenary of the Union for Reform Judaism, reassuring his audience that “cooperation between our militaries [and intelligence] has never been stronger.”

Obama underscored that Iran is a “threat to the security of Israel, the United States and the world … And that’s why our policy has been absolutely clear: We are determined to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons….And that’s why … we have imposed the most comprehensive, the hardest-hitting sanctions that the Iranian regime has ever faced…. And that’s why, rest assured, we will take no options off the table.” (Transcript of President Obama Union for Reform Judaism Speech Video Dec. 16. 2011: Address at URJ Biennial, 71st General Assembly , emphasis added).

Towards a “Coordinated” US-Israeli Attack on Iran?

In recent weeks, the US media tabloids have been literally plastered with “no options off the table” statements by Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. Panetta intimated, however, ”that Israel should not consider unilateral action against Iran” while stressing “that any military operation against Iran by Israel must be coordinated with the United States and have its backing“. (Panetta’s December 2 statement at the Saban Center quoted in U.S. Defense Secretary: Iran could get nuclear bomb within a year – Haaretz, December 11, 2011, emphasis added)

The Threat of Nuclear War against Iran

The “no options off the table” statement intimates that the US not only envisages an attack on Iran but that this attack could include the use of tactical bunker buster nuclear weapons with an explosive capacity between one third and six times a Hiroshima bomb. In a cruel irony, these “humanitarian” “peace-making” nuclear bombs “Made in America” –which according to “scientific opinion” on contract to the Pentagon are “harmless to the surrounding civilian population”– are contemplated to be used against Iran in retaliation for its nonexistent nuclear weapons program.

While Iran has no nuclear weapons, what is rarely acknowledged is that five (officially) “non-nuclear States” including Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Turkey have US made tactical nuclear weapons deployed under national command in their respective military bases. This nuclear arsenal is slated to be used against Iran.

The stockpiling and deployment of tactical B61 in these five “non-nuclear states” are intended for targets in the Middle East. Moreover, in accordance with “NATO strike plans”, these thermonuclear B61 bunker buster bombs (stockpiled by the “non-nuclear States”) could be launched “against targets in Russia or countries in the Middle East such as Syria and Iran” (quoted in National Resources Defense Council, Nuclear Weapons in Europe , February 2005, emphasis added)

While these “undeclared nuclear states” casually accuse Tehran of developing nuclear weapons, without documentary evidence, they themselves have capabilities of delivering nuclear warheads, which are targeted at Iran, Syria and Russia. Israel’s Nukes are Pointed at Iran. Joint US-Israel “Coordination” of Nuclear Weapons Deployment

Israel rather than Iran is a threat to global security.

Israel possesses 100-200 strategic nuclear warheads, which are fully deployed against Iran.

Already in 2003, Washington and Tel Aviv confirmed that they were collaborating in “the deployment of US-supplied Harpoon cruise missiles armed with nuclear warheads in Israel’s fleet of Dolphin-class submarines.” (The Observer, 12 October 2003).

According to Russian general Leonid Ivashov:

The Israeli military and political circles had been making statements on the possibility of nuclear and missile strikes on Iran openly since October, 2006, when the idea was immediately supported by G. Bush. Currently [2007] it is touted in the form of a “necessity” of nuclear strikes. The public is taught to believe that there is nothing monstrous about such a possibility and that, on the contrary, a nuclear strike is quite feasible. Allegedly, there is no other way to “stop” Iran. (General Leonid Ivashov, Iran Must Get Ready to Repel a Nuclear Attack, Global Research, January 2007 emphasis added)

It is worth noting that at the outset of Bush’s second term, Vice President Dick Cheney had hinted, in no uncertain terms, that Iran was “right at the top of the list” of the rogue enemies of America, and that Israel would, so to speak, “be doing the bombing for us”, without US military involvement and without us putting pressure on them “to do it”.

In the above context, political analyst and historian Michael Carmichael has pointed to the integration and coordination of military decision-making between the US and Israel pertaining to the deployment of nuclear weapons:

“Rather than a direct American nuclear strike against Iran’s hard targets, Israel has been given the assignment of launching a coordinated cluster of nuclear strikes aimed at targets that are the nuclear installations in the Iranian cities: Natanz, Isfahan and Arak. (Michael Carmichael, Global Research, January 2007)

“No Options off the Table”: What Does it Mean in the Context of Military Planning? Integration of Conventional and Nuclear Weapons Systems

The rules and guidelines of the US Military governing the use of nuclear weapons have been “liberalized” (i.e. ”deregulated” in relation to those prevailing during the Cold War era). The decision to use tactical nuclear nuclear weapons against Iran no longer depends on the Commander in Chief, namely president Barack Obama. It is strictly a military decision. The new doctrine states that Command, Control, and Coordination (CCC) regarding the use of nuclear weapons should be “flexible”, allowing geographic combat commanders to decide if and when to use of nuclear weapons:

Known in official Washington, as “Joint Publication 3-12″, the new nuclear doctrine (Doctrine for Joint Nuclear Operations , (DJNO) (March 2005)) calls for “integrating conventional and nuclear attacks” under a unified and “integrated” Command and Control (C2).

It largely describes war planning as a management decision-making process, where military and strategic objectives are to be achieved, through a mix of instruments, with little concern for the resulting loss of human life.

What this means is that if an attack on Iran is launched, tactical nuclear weapons will be an integral part of the weapons arsenal.

From a military decision-making standpoint, “no options off the table” means that the Military will apply “the most efficient use of force”. In this context, nuclear and conventional weapons are part of what the Pentagon calls “the tool box”, from which military commanders can pick and choose the instruments that they require in accordance with “evolving circumstances” in the “war theater”. The Integration of Conventional and Nuclear Warfare

Of utmost relevance to the planned attack on Iran, US military documents point towards the integration of conventional and nuclear weapons and the use of nukes on a pre-emptive basis in the conventional war theater.

This proposed “integration” of conventional and nuclear weapons systems was first formulated in 2003 under CONPLAN 8022. The latter is described as “a concept plan for the quick use of nuclear, conventional, or information warfare capabilities to destroy–pre-emptively, if necessary–”time-urgent targets” anywhere in the world [including Iran].” (See Michel Chossudovsky, US, NATO and Israel Deploy Nukes directed against Iran, Global Research, September 27, 2007). Coordinated by US Strategic Command, CONPLAN became operational in early 2004. (Robert S. Norris and Hans M. Kristensen, Bulletin of Atomic Scientists).

CONPLAN opens up a military Pandora’s box. It blurs the dividing line between conventional and nuclear weapons. It opens the door for the preemptive use of nukes “anywhere in the World”

The Absence of Public Awareness

The “international community” has endorsed an attack on Iran in the name of World Peace.

“Making the World safer” is the justification for launching a military operation which could potentially result in a nuclear holocaust.

While one can conceptualize the loss of life and destruction resulting from present-day wars including Iraq and Afghanistan, it is impossible to fully comprehend the devastation which might result from a Third World War, using “new technologies” and advanced weapons, including nukes, until it occurs and becomes a reality.

The corporate media is involved in deliberately blocking news coverage as well as debate concerning these war preparations. The war on Iran and the dangers of escalation are not considered “front page news.” The mainstream media has excluded in-depth analysis and debate on the implications of these war plans.

Iran does not constitute a nuclear threat.

The threat to global security emanates from the US-NATO-Israel military alliance which contemplates –under the CONPLAN framework– the use of thermonuclear weapons against a non nuclear state.

In the words of General Ivashov, “The public is taught to believe that there is nothing monstrous about such a possibility”. Nuclear weapons are “part of tool box”.

An attack on Iran would have devastating consequences, It would unleash an all out regional war from the Eastern Mediterranean to Central Asia, potentially leading humanity into a World War III Scenario.

The Obama Administration constitutes a nuclear threat.

NATO constitutes a nuclear threat

Five European “non-nuclear states” (Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey) with tactical nuclear weapons deployed under national command, to be used against Iran constitute a nuclear threat.

The Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not only constitutes a nuclear threat, but also a threat to the security of people of Israel, who are misled regarding the implications of an US-Israeli attack on Iran.

The complacency of Western public opinion –including segments of the US anti-war movement– is disturbing. No concern has been expressed at the political level as to the likely consequences of a US-NATO-Israel attack on Iran, using nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear state.

Such an action would result in “the unthinkable”: a nuclear holocaust over a large part of the Middle East.

It should be noted that a nuclear nightmare would occur even if nuclear weapons were not used. The bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities using conventional weapons would contribute to unleashing a Chernobyl-Fukushima type disaster with extensive radioactive fallout.




Treason from within....

Reports that Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul stormed out of a CNN interview earlier this week seem to be dramatically over-exaggerated.

Raw footage of the Thursday interview shows that it lasted nearly ten minutes, which is not unusually brief on the campaign trail.

After discussing foreign policy, the payroll tax, negative advertisements, and super fund PACs, the interview concluded with three whole minutes of discussion on the issue of the incendiary racist and homophobic letters that were published in Mr Paul’s name in the Eighties and Nineties.

Initial news reports made it seem that Mr Paul recited his one line response- that he didn’t write the letters, that he didn’t read them until about a decade after they were published, and that he disavows them- and stormed off, tossing away his microphone and charging out.

The newly-released CNN footage shows something entirely different.

After fielding repeated questions about the controversial newsletters, Mr Paul began wrapping up the interview.

The UK Daily Telegraph recently posted an article entitled, “How can we remain silent while Christians are being persecuted?” Anybody reading the Daily Bell this past year will not be surprised by this headline, nor the article itself. Turns out that the writer is reporting on “a new evil [that] is sweeping the Middle East” – and that evil is violence against Christians.

“How can we remain silent while Christians are being persecuted?” the article asks. “The Americans have gone now, and Iraq’s Christian communities – some of the world’s oldest – are undergoing an exodus on a biblical scale.”

The article does not only mention Iraq and makes it clear that the anti-Christian sentiment is broad-based: “The attacks, which peak at Christmas, have already spread to Egypt, where Coptic Christians have seen their churches firebombed by Islamic fundamentalists …

“In Tunisia, priests are being murdered. Maronite Christians in Lebanon have, for the first time, become targets of bombing campaigns. Christians in Syria, who have suffered as much as anyone from the Assad regime, now pray for its survival. If it falls, and the Islamists triumph, persecution may begin in earnest.”

Early in January 2011, we predicted this. In an article entitled, “Western Elites Still Secretly Building Islam,” we wrote about the West’s strategic undermining of non-religious or Christian regimes in the Ivory Coast, Tunisia and Egypt. Here’s an excerpt:

Is the war on terror a success? The Anglo-American elite needs an enemy if the authoritarianism that is rising in the West is to continue – because despotism (and globalism) is more easily created when there is an outside enemy. But fighting against 100 Al Qaeda soldiers in Afghanistan is not anybody’s idea of a substantive threat. And the Taliban are evidently and obviously fighting an occupying force.

What if the powers-that-be had decided to do what they could to expand the Muslim threat – and thus expand (in the Western mind anyway) the specter of resurgent, militant Islam? A cynical idea isn’t it, dear reader. It is merely speculation, but there are reasons to explore it further …

We are proposing a new stage in the manipulated war on terror. Having built up the Middle East through enormous cash infusions, the Anglosphere is continually expanding the role of fundamental Islam and may even be prepared to overthrow old and trusted allies to do so. The war on terror so far has not proven very terrible (except to Afghan and Iraqi citizens) but if the Jasmine revolution “spreads” throughout the Middle East, resurgent, fundamentalist Islam may indeed become a reality.

Right on time comes this article in the UK Telegraph, almost exactly a year later, demanding that the British foreign office do more to help victims of Arab prejudice. It’s an amazing article only because it is so predictable and (surprise) neglects to provide a frame of reference that would explain the rising violence.

Why would the article neglect a frame of reference? Because the Anglosphere power elite that wants to create world government, needs to continually manufacture enemies – to create fear. We call this fear-mongering the production of “dominant social themes.”

The idea is to frighten Western middle classes into surrendering wealth and power to a variety of globalist institutions that the power elite has built and put into place – and is now expanding on. These include the UN, IMF, World Bank,ICC, BIS, etc.

One of the biggest memes the power elite employs is war. Through war, all sorts of authoritarianism can be enhanced and the globalist agenda expanded efficiently in ways that it never could be otherwise. But in order to have war, one must create an enemy. And at this task Western elites are most efficient. Here’s some more from the article:

These dividing lines are now being made into battle lines by hardline Salafists, who are emerging as victors of theArab Spring. They belong to the same mutant strain of Sunni Islam which inspired al-Qaeda. Their agenda is sectarian warfare, and they loathe Shia Islam as much as they do Christians and Jews. Their enemy lies not over a border, but in a church, synagogue or Shia mosque.

The Salafists may be detested by the Muslim mainstream. But as they are finding out, you don’t need to be popular to seize power in a post-dictatorship Arab world – you just need to be the best organised. The West is so obsessed with government structure that it doesn’t notice when power lies elsewhere, and Islamist death squads are executing barbers and unveiled women in places like Basra.

Two years ago, the idea of such bloody sectarianism would have sounded like a macabre fantasy in a country as civilised as Egypt. After al-Qaeda bombed a church on New Year’s Day, Muslim elders sat in the front pews forming a human shield and defying the terrorists.

But moderate Egyptians are now losing this power struggle. The killing has started, with another 25 Copts murdered in October. Tens of thousands of Egypt’s Christians have already joined their Iraqi counterparts in exile: as Iraq proved, one death can lead to a thousand emigrations. The Salafists are finding it staggeringly easy to realise their fantasy of a “purer” Egypt.

Without explaining the triggering principles of Western intelligence manipulation of Islamic cultures, the article attributes the violence to the nascent Arab Spring. Of course, as is well known in alternative media circles, the Arab Spring itself is an incipient Western invention.

The US State Department and apparently the CIA, through various facilities such as AYM, have sponsored a far-flung youth movement of rebellious young men and women who have been trained to use various tools, including social media, to cause unrest in their home countries. Apparently, these same tactics have been used to create Occupy Wall Street unrest.

“The Arab Spring was always going to mean danger for religious minorities, unleashing the Islamic extremists who previously were kept at bay,” the article informs us. We also learn that religious persecution was not a hallmark of previous (overthrown) regimes. “For all their evil, the old secular tyrants abused their victims equally, whether they wore the cross, hijab or skullcap.”

The article damns the British foreign office as being “typically slow to recognise the gathering threat, despite repeated warnings.” Of course, the obvious reason for this slowness is that the unrest in the Middle East is being deliberately provoked by MI6 – along with counterparts in DC and Tel Aviv.

You won’t read such speculation in this article, however. The rationale pro-offered is psychological rather than strategic: “It might be that the Foreign Office sees this as part of a soppy equalities agenda, unworthy of diplomatic attention. Those who have raised the issue directly with William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, say he is unenthusiastic.”

Predictably, the psychological speculation is buttressed by that old rationale: ignorance. “The Foreign Office did not realise the full evil of ethnic cleansing in the Balkans until it was too late: it did not take civil tensions seriously enough. It can do better now, making clear that it regards religious cleansing as an emerging evil that ought to be confronted wherever it is being incubated.”

Really? It’s funny how much Western foreign policy is larded with ignorance and stupidity. The Anglosphere, for all of its abilities to win wars and dominate the world, is constantly making elemental mistakes: the Treaty of Versailles, Yalta, the emergence of Communist China, etc.

Now as we watch militant Islam emerge from the shadows, we are informed yet again that Western powers-that-be are being caught unawares. “Outright religious oppression is quietly ignored, from Saudi Arabia to the Maldives.”

Establishment reverts back to pretending Paul doesn’t exist

From rightly heralding the Iowa primary as a crucial indicator as to who will eventually capture the GOP nomination, the establishment has closed ranks and now decided that a Ron Paul victory doesn’t count and that the focus will be on who finishes second.

A Politico article entitled Ron Paul panic seizes Iowa establishment perfectly illustrates the supreme arrogance of the very political elite Paul is fighting against and goes a step beyond Fox News pundit Chris Wallace’s insistence that the Iowa result “won’t count” if Ron Paul wins.

Despite the fact that two out of the last three winners of the Iowa primary have gone on to successfully capture the Republican nomination, the political class have decided that Ron Paul doesn’t deserve the opportunity to build the same kind of momentum, and that a victory for him in Iowa “would do irreparable harm to the future role of the first-in-the-nation caucuses,” according to Politico.

The hierarchy is so petrified at the possibility of a Ron Paul win that the state’s own Governor, Terry Branstad, has pre-empted the result by urging people to ignore Paul if he secures a first place finish and instead concentrate on who comes second.

“People are going to look at who comes in second and who comes in third,” said Branstad, adding, ““If [Mitt] Romney comes in a strong second, it definitely helps him going into New Hampshire and the other states,” comments taken to mean that Republicans should “ignore” Ron Paul, according to Politico’s Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns.

As we have seen from the Republican race thus far, the identity of the frontrunner has changed several different times. Rick Perry, Herman Cain and now Newt Gingrich all saw their campaigns rise and fall dramatically. Ron Paul is the only candidate to slowly build momentum and not suffer any major setback.

Yes, it’s true that Ron Paul’s national figures are significantly lower than both Gingrich and Romney, but the Texan Congressman would have a very real chance of overturning that deficit if his potential victory in Iowa was treated with a modicum of respect, but the establishment are determined not to let that happen. This is why we are now seeing a deluge of whining “Ron Paul can’t win” articles every day.

The establishment has gone all out to virtually sabotage the credibility of the primary weeks before it even takes place, terrified that a Ron Paul success could upset the apple cart of the two RINO establishment candidates.

In addition, the Politico piece floats the hoax that a Ron Paul win would ensure an Obama re-election, when in reality Ron Paul has the best chance of beating Obama out of all the Republican candidates.

Isn’t it fascinating that the political class doesn’t consider how Newt Gingrich, who is about as conservative as Mao Tse-Tung, would also cause “irreparable harm” to the reputation of the primary if he won? Their concern for the potential harm caused by a Mitt Romneycare victory is also notable by its absence.

Ron Paul has the most conservative voting record since 1937 – so why on earth should a Paul victory cause “irreparable harm” to Iowa?

His success in the state should be celebrated as a sign that the Republican Party is finally starting to return to its constitutional principles.

Iowa New World Order Governor urges voters to ignore result if Ron Paul wins

Iowa Governor Terry Branstad’s rhetorical act of sabotage against his own state’s Republican primary, with his insistence that a potential Ron Paul victory should be ignored, represents an outrageous attempt to tamper with the election process.

As we reported earlier, Branstad told Politico that a Paul victory in the primary should be dismissed, urging Republicans to ignore the legitimacy of the result if the Texan Congressman comes out on top, which recent polls suggest he has a very good chance of doing. Politico adds that many fear “such a result….would do irreparable harm to the future role of the first-in-the-nation caucuses.”

“People are going to look at who comes in second and who comes in third,” said Branstad, adding, ““If [Mitt] Romney comes in a strong second, it definitely helps him going into New Hampshire and the other states,” comments taken to mean that Republicans should “ignore” Ron Paul, according to Politico’s Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns.

Branstad’s comments represent a treasonous effort to delegitimize the veracity of his own state’s primary. There are truly no depths to which establishment stooges like Branstad will sink in order to denigrate Ron Paul’s campaign.

Far from a potential Paul victory causing “irreparable harm” to the Iowa primary, as Politico would have it, Branstad himself has already done “irreparable harm” to the sanctity of future caucuses in the state.

Branstad is not only attempting to sabotage Paul’s campaign, he is directly undermining citizens in his own state by openly declaring that their vote is worthless, even though Paul is the current frontrunner.

The Governor has indicated said that he probably won’t endorse a candidate before the Jan. 3 caucuses in Iowa.

However, in an Associated Press interview last week, Branstad said he didn’t think Newt Gingrich “has the discipline and focus to be president”.

If Branstad is rooting for anyone, it’s clearly Mitt Romney. Prominent Romney supporters are even trying to groom Branstad into becoming a candidate for Vice President under a Romney administration.

“1996 GOP presidential nominee Bob Dole broached the idea of Branstad as No. 2 on the ticket. Dole reportedly called Branstad this weekend to let him know he would be endorsing Mitt Romney for president, and said he’d like to recommend Iowa’s governor as a possible running mate,” reports USA Today.

Branstad downplayed his interest in the role, but said he was “flattered” to be considered.

The GOP establishment is not keen on the Iowa primary because it is actually the most democratic and truly representative out of all the caucuses.

Establishment media pundits have also ludicrously tried to downplay the importance of the Iowa primary despite it being widely renowned as being key to deciding the overall winner of the Republican nomination. Two out of the last three winners of the Iowa primary have gone on to be victorious in the GOP race.
