There's a reason that Janet Napolitano and Walmart want you to report suspicious activity to either a Walmart manager or the FBI and it has very little to do with your security. However, it does have a lot to do with keeping you in the dark and the Freedom of Information Act.

 In a previous article, “Walmart teams up with DHS, Janet Napolitano urges shoppers to spy on each other”, it was reported that Walmart will soon be installing monitors at all of their check out lines and on those monitors you're going to see Janet Napolitano, the United States Secrety of Homeland Security delivering a very important message: If you see any type of suspicious activity in or around your Walmart store, please report it to either the store management or the FBI Department of Homeland Security.

 
But why not just call a cop? There's usually one in a Walmart store anyway. They'll respond a lot faster than an FBI agent and we already know they're probably a lot smarter than half the Walmart management teams. Here's the real reason. The reason why Janet Napolitano and Walmart want you to report suspicious activity to them instead of taking it to your local law enforcement agency is because if you don't call the cops then they can take care of the problem their own way, sweep it under the rug, and never even admit it happened.
