Final arguments are expected to begin Tuesday in the trial of Jason Keough, a former child protection worker and high school counselor facing child pornography charges.

Keough, 36, faces seven charges including making and possessing child pornography and voyeurism for alleged events between January 2005 and the fall of 2008 in Athabasca, Alta.

After a six-week break, the trial continued Monday when the courtroom was shown homemade pornographic tapes allegedly involving underage girls.

The tapes and DVDs were viewed with the audio frequently turned off.

RCMP Const. Tye Roddick-Ament said he viewed and catalogued boxes of DVD and VHS tapes found in Keough's home.

Roddick-Ament told court the videos appeared homemade, often titled by the first name of the people in the video, followed by 'xxx.'

Court heard sex scenes were often taped over other videos, like the movie "Home Alone," or animated features.

In testimony last month, a witness testified Keough threatened to have a girl put in foster care unless her boyfriend made a sex tape.
