Loose Change. Next Scapegoat in Arizona Shooting?
Kurt Nimmo | In the next few days, we can expect the corporate media to claim the mental case Loughner was a 9/11 truther.
It looks like Democrats and liberals now have a new target in their war against political speech in the wake of the shooting in Arizona – the 9/11 truth movement and the documentary Loose Change.
During an AP interview with the father of a high school friend of Jared Lee Loughner, we learn that the accused mass murderer watched Loose Change, the 9/11 documentary directed by Dylan Avery and produced by Jason Bermas and Korey Rove.
Alex Jones is an executive producer of the film. Millions of people have watched the film on the internet and it was deemed an internet blockbuster by Vanity Fair in 2006. The documentary was criticized and “debunked” by the State Department and Popular Mechanics.
Loughner, according to George Osler, also took Salvia divinorum, a psychoactive plant which can induce dissociative effects and is described as a potent producer of “visions” and other hallucinatory experiences.
In the next few days, we can expect the corporate media to claim the mental case Loughner was a 9/11 truther.
The tragic shooting has resulted in calls for censorship. Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn has called for the so-called Fairness Doctrine to be imposed by the government on talk radio. Media Matters CEO David Brock asked Rupert Murdoch to rein in or possibly even fire Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, according to Politico.
Talk radio appears to be the primary target. MSNBC liberal attack dog Chris Matthews went after to popular talk radio personalities in the wake of the attack – Mark Levin and Michael Savage.
Officers stopped suspect on day of Ariz. shooting; Police Say They Visited Tucson Suspect’s Home Even Before Rampage
TUCSON — The police were sent to the home where Jared L. Loughner lived with his family on more than one occasion before the attack here on Saturday that left a congresswoman fighting for her life and six others dead, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said on Tuesday.

Editor’s Note from Alex Jones: What we have here is a clear case of a self-fulfilling prophecy. The national and local media knew exactly what they were doing. They hyped to a pool of 300 million Americans over and over again that a deranged tea partier is going to gun politicians down. Then, a highly suggestible paranoid schizophrenic acts on the hype and the media instantly blames the tea party. If they continue to hype this, it will cause more deranged copycats to act.
The terrible shooting in Tucson, Arizona left six dead including federal Judge John Roll and critically injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was the act of a 22-year-old that was immediately profiled as a tea party member. The mainstream media focused on two points in his many ramblings including government mind control and refusing to use a currency not backed by gold and silver. What is most curious about this is that it appears he was profiled as the shooter before there even was a shooting. In multiple interviews with Rep. Giffords, the idea of a tea party activist using violence against her was brought up either right before or after mention of the upcoming vote to recall controversial health care reform.
In the video below, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was interviewed about an incident where the front door of her office was shattered while stock footage of tea party protesters waiving the Gadsden flag were rolling. The interview was steered in a direction that would indicate that the tea party is posing a violent threat against democrat lawmakers. They touch on Sarah Palin’s use of crosshairs on her site, explaining that this could potentially cause someone to use violence against the democrats featured in the graphic.
There is an undeniable coincidence between this incident and the timing of the votes to repeal the health care bill taking place this week. Any act of violence towards democratic leaders, especially the ones most invested in the success of health care reform would have all but guaranteed the vote would have failed. The Congresswoman took part in an interview (video below) shortly before the shooting where she spoke about a vote taking place to repeal the health care bill, stating clearly it would never pass and if it did President Obama would veto it.
Keith Olbermann began a special comment after the event by calling for Americans to put their guns away and end an era of “dangerous” political rallies and gun shows. During his statement, he used the tragedy that occurred in Arizona, killing a federal judge and critically injuring Rep. Giffords as leverage for a call against border control and for gun control. In what he calls the end of a “dangerous era of blurring political rallies with gun shows”, his statements all but blame Sarah Palin and other politicians for the shooting. While their rhetoric and use of metaphors could be considered without class, there is no clear evidence that the shooter (Jared Lee Loughner) was anything but a liberal himself.
Jared Lee Loughner was no stranger to local law enforcement . His ramblings and death threats had been reported to them in the past, and their response was to write him off as another lunatic. His rants and ramblings covered a vast array of topics though the two the media has focused on cover government mind control and fiat currency. In a time when law enforcement sends people to mental institutions against their will for protesting their policies, and imposing mandatory mental screening on children, how did he go unchecked for so long?
On Saturday afternoon, with his friend Gabby Giffords in surgery fighting for her life, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik railed against the tense partisan politics – “the anger, the hatred, the bigotry” – that prompted the mass murders outside Tucson, in his view.
Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever said he does not understand why his friend and colleague, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, would suggest at a news conference following Saturday’s shooting in Tucson that political ideology played a role in the tragedy.

Gun Grabbing Congress Critters Come Out of Woodwork After Giffords Shooting

The shooting of Rep. Giffords and others by a mentally deranged man in Arizona has brought anti-Second Amendment ghouls out of the shadows.
Dedicated gun-grabber Sen. Frank Lautenberg, a New Jersey Democrat, is renewing his effort to chisel away at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. “The only reason to have 33 bullets loaded in a handgun is to kill a lot of people very quickly. These high-capacity clips simply should not be on the market,” Lautenberg said on Monday following the weekend shooting.
MSNBC, outraged over Second Amendment, interviews gun-grabber Carolyn McCarthy.
The poster child for the destruction of the Second Amendment, New York Democrat Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, has also crawled out of the shadows. She announced plans to introduce legislation aimed squarely at the right of Americans to own firearms.
California Democrat Dianne Feinstein has joined McCarthy in the renewed effort to rob Americans of their right to own firearms. Feinstein wrote the 1994 assault weapons ban, which outlawed gun clips holding more than 10 bullets. The law expired in 2004.
McCarthy’s enemies of liberty will team up with establishment Republicans in a new effort to trash the Second Amendment. A McCarthy aide said her office was consulting with newly anointed House Speaker John Boehner’s office.
As should be expected, the Brady Campaign exploited the incident to attack the right of Americans to own firearms. Paul Helmke, president of the Brady Campaign, said in a statement that “if Congress had not allowed the ‘Assault Weapons Ban’ to expire in 2004, the shooter [Loughner] would only have been able to get off 10 rounds without reloading. Instead, he was able to fire at least 20 rounds from his 30-round clip.”
In short, according to Helmke, the Second Amendment is responsible for Loughner’s rampage. Not the gunman, but the founders.
Kristen Rand, legislative director of the Violence Policy Center, admitted the gun-grabbers are determined to exploit the pain and suffering of Loughner’s victims in order to attack the Bill of Rights. “In the wake of these kind of incidents, the trick is to move quickly,” she told NBC.
Democrats and their Republican allies are miffed they cannot exploit the tragic incident more effectively. As noted by Politico, the massacre has not kick started a larger debate in the district of criminals.
“Those who have brought up gun control in light of the Tucson shooting have largely been the issue’s regular standard-bearers on Capitol Hill. Even gun-control advocates aren’t very optimistic about their chances,” the newspaper writes.
Rand and her co-conspirators are discouraged by Obama’s lack of movement on gun control. “I frankly don’t know what it’s going to take to get the Obama administration to do even the most minor positive policy change on guns,” Rand said. “They have a war basically brewing on the border, and there’s a lot they could do without legislation to address that problem, but that hasn’t moved them to act.”
The government insists guns used by the bankster supported drug cartels in the Mexican narco state originate in the United States, although there is scant evidence of this.
“They just ignore the issue as if it’s not there,” Rand said. “I think they buy the hype about the power of the gun lobby. I think they and the Democratic Party buy into this idea that if you cross the gun lobby, you’ll lose.”
In other words, the Obama administration realizes attacking the Second Amendment is for now a losing strategy. It is not the “gun lobby” – epitomized by a sell-out NRA that supports the microstamping of firearms and Gestapo tactics at legal gun shows – but the sentiment of millions of Americans who support the Bill of Rights that has Obama and crew holding their cards close to the vest.
Even the liberals over at the Huffington Post admit many Americans support the Second Amendment and any attempt to diminish the amendment will be an uphill battle.
In the days ahead, as discussion of Loughner’s rampage continues, we can expect the gun-grabbers to heatedly make their case. They will not rest until the Second Amendment is stricken from the Bill of Rights.
DHS Ties Arizona Attack to “Lone Wolf” Terrorism

The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI sent a bulletin to local law enforcement after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and others were shot in Arizona last week. The bulletin, issued Saturday night, provided information about “lone wolf” attackers, according to Fox News.
“We have seen an increase in the lone wolf type attacks, which, from a law enforcement and investigation perspective, are the most challenging,” DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said earlier this year. “Why? Because by definition they’re not conspiring. They’re not using the phones, the computer networks, or any — they’re not talking with others any other way that we might get some inkling about what is being planned.”
Leonard Zeskind, who produced paranoid liberal agitprop attempting to connect the Tea Party to the white nationalist movement, defines the term lone wolf.
The government has characterized Joseph Andrew Stack, John Patrick Bedell, Johnny Lee Wicks, and others as lone wolf attackers. Stack allegedly plowed a small aircraft into an IRS officle building in Austin, Texas. Bedell, described as a mentally ill marijuna user, opened fire outside of the Pentagon in March. Johnny Lee Wicks was killed at federal courthouse in Las Vegas after his Social Security check was reduced.
In 2009, a DHS document, “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” was leaked to the media. “The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks,” the report concludes (emphasis added).
Michael Leiter, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, recently told the Senate Homeland Security Committee that the prospect of lone wolf attacks keep him awake at night, according to the Chicago Tribune. Lee Hamilton, the former chairman of the 9/11 Commission, told the Committee “that the lone wolf terrorist has become a major threat and concern to the country.” Leon Panetta, the current director of the CIA, expressed similar concerns. “It’s the lone wolf strategy that I think we have to pay attention to as the main threat,” he said. The former Senate Majority leader, Harry Reid, also told the Homeland Security Committee that his “greatest concern” is the lone wolf.
Jared Lee Loughner was not associated with a terrorist group. His behavior prior to the attack is that of a mentally ill person, not an ideologically motivated terrorist. In the wake of the attack, the corporate media has attempted to portray him as rightwing and sympathetic to the Tea Party. Following the attack, it was revealed that Loughner is at best a liberal who describes himself as a homosexual. News reports indicate he kept an occult shrine in the back yard of his parent’s home in Tucson.
On Sunday, Fox News reported on a a law enforcement memo based on information provided by DHS attempting to link Loughner to American Renaissance, described as a white supremacist organization that Loughner allegedly mentioned in some of his internet postings.
The latest information released by the Department of Homeland Security reveals that the mega-agency created following the attacks of September 11, 2001, is still attempting to spin the Loughner story and attach political motivation to acts that were clearly carried out by a mentally ill person.
The government and the DHS have loaded the term “lone wolf” with political connotation. It now brings to mind al-Qaeda miscreants in turbans, white supremacists, and anti-tax activists.
Alex Jones issues an alert via a special video address as certain factions in Congress are moving very quickly to seize upon the tragic shooting in Arizona to pass both gun control laws and restrict free speech under the guise of protecting political servants.
The emerging background of Jared Lee Loughner clearly indicates a deeply mentally disturbed individual, but many in Congress cannot wait for all the details of his motivation to emerge before hurrying legislation through Capitol Hill this week. They have teamed up with the mainstream corporate media to pose as concerned liberals trying to protect the weak, while forcefully demanding draconian restrictions on the Bill of Rights.
The rush is on to prey upon sentiments while they are still fresh. They will use this tragedy to usher in an agenda the Obama Administration couldn’t otherwise advance, but have long planned for. Top Obama and Clinton advisors like Robert Shapiro have cryptically warned for months that only an Oklahoma City or 9/11-style incident could save Obama’s presidency. Former Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel famously quipped that “You never want to let a good crisis go to waste.” Is the Loughner Massacre the crisis this White House and Congress have been waiting for?
For gun legislation, there’s been no useful momentum until now. Holder and Obama heralded the return of the assault weapons ban early on in 2009, but the focus has always been on the available political currency. But with a ripe tragedy that rightfully shocked the nation at hand, Rep. McCarthy and other dedicated gun grabbers in Congress have rallied, ready to ‘look at what I can pass.’ McCarthy has eyed banning the 30-count clip used by the accused killer, one of the expired provisions of the Assault Weapons Ban she and others got under Clinton.
Meanwhile, Congressman Robert Brady plans openly to ride on the backs of Giffords’ attempted assassination and the murder of 5 others as well, with plans to “criminalize” threatening language or symbols against members of Congress. Like well-laid plans for anti-gun legislation, the Democrats have long plotted an avenue to impose the Fairness Doctrine over the realm of talk radio. In the name of protecting our elected officials, Brady will help chill political speech, starting with the banning of over-zealous rhetoric like the well publicized example of Sarah Palin’s map which placed a “target” over a number of districts including that of Rep. Giffords.
Despite the fact that the father of slain 9-year old Christina Taylor Green demanded the press not use his daughter’s death to restrict civil liberties, the public figures involved have lined up to grandstand over the incident and exploit the madness of accused murderer Jared Lee Loughner.
Pima County Sheriff Dupnik lead the demands to reign in speech and tone down the rhetoric, lambasting the “vitriol” of pundits and politicians, openly challenging their right to express and defend their views and stating in his press conference that those who talk for a living ‘have free speech,’ but that such speech bears ‘consequences.’
“When the rhetoric about hatred, about mistrust of government, about paranoia of how government operates, and to try to inflame the public on a daily basis, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it has impact on people especially who are unbalanced personalities,” Dupnik said.
Plenty of others, including Mark Potok of the SPLC, followed Dupnik in implicitly blaming the actions of the suspected shooter on a cocktail of voices in the “radical right” whose angry sentiment has risen to the surface since the 2010 midterm election season.
Those in Congress, however, have already reciprocated with immediate proposals for legislation. The overtones are reminiscent of the rushed and pressured passing of the Constitution-shredding PATRIOT Act in the wake of 9/11. Now, as the War on Terror– supposedly justified by the September 11 attacks– has shifted into the war of suspicion against the American people, returning veterans, political dissidents and others, certain factions in Congress now want to cut again at the Constitution and Bill of Rights, imposing the burden for the malicious and evil actions of one individual on the free speech and 2nd Amendment of everyone in the national conversation and political discourse.
Now, a decade after all Americans gave up a number of their rights in turn for the auspices of ‘security’ following 9/11, some of the most ‘vitriolic’ and supposedly ‘angry’ voices in politics, along with the others, will be asked to give up their freedom to words and expression so we can again feel a little bit “safer.” But it won’t work. Bad people and criminals will still get guns; insulating politicians will only advance tyranny’s shadowy ascent; and chilling free speech will only bring martial law control over the people closer still.
As Benjamin Franklin wisely warned in the founding era, “Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither“ (and will obtain neither).
Blowing up children and threatening climate change skeptics with physical violence barely merits a mention
Paul Joseph Watson

While the establishment has invoked the supposed threat of vitriolic “right-wing rhetoric” as a tool with which to bludgeon freedom of speech in response to the Tucson shootings, it has conspired to sweep under the carpet far more extreme and threatening language and images used by leftists in the context of the climate change debate, rhetoric that has led directly to crimes and murders
While Sarah Palin is castigated for using an image of crosshairs targeting political districts, leftists produce violent and bloody films that depict children being liquidated in an orgy of blood and guts for not toeing the line on the political dogma of man-made global warming.
When the 10:10 campaign put out a video that showed kids in a classroom being murdered by their teacher for refusing to lower their CO2 emissions, it sparked outrage amongst conservative bloggers, yet hardly a ripple was registered on the pages of the Washington Post, the New York Times, or any of the leftist blogs now erroneously trying to blame vitriolic “right-wing” rhetoric for Jared Lee Loughner’s massacre.
Similarly, there was no condemnation when a lobbying group used an image of a dead girl being hanged to push their propaganda about melting icebergs – and in fact the Discovery Channel gave the group an award for the commercial.

Kiddie eco-snuff rhetoric was also employed by ABC Australia in an online kids game in which children were told when to kill themselves based on their carbon consumption.
ABC’s Planet Slayer website featured a cartoon series, complete with a tool called “Prof Schpinkee’s Greenhouse Calculator” to help kids work out their carbon footprint.
The calculator also estimates at what age a person should die so they don’t use more than their fair share of the Earth’s resources. If users were found to have used too much CO2, they were portrayed as an exploding pig, leaving behind a pool of blood and gore

Man-made climate change skeptics have also been threatened with physical violence by global warming alarmists on numerous occasions.
- Last year, an article carried by the official Greenpeace website written by a Greenpeace member urges climate activists to resort to criminal activity in an effort to reinvigorate momentum for their stalling global warming agenda, while ominously threatening climate skeptics, “we know where you live”.
- In June 2009, a global warming activist posted an article on the Talking Points Memo website entitled “At What Point Do We Jail Or Execute Global Warming Deniers?”
- Shortly after this article was retracted, a comment traced back to another prominent global warming activist which appeared on the Climate Progress blog threatened Skeptics that “an entire generation that will soon be ready to strangle you and your kind while you sleep in your beds.” Website owner Joe Romm defended the comment as “clearly not a threat but a prediction”.
- During the Whole Life Expo 2010, a global warming alarmist working as security at the event tried to intimidate a skeptic by telling him, “Do you think it would be fucking funny if I punched you in the face?”
- A July 2007 Senate report detailed how skeptical scientists have faced threats and intimidation, including physical threats, intellectual purges, and threats to livelihoods and careers.
Despite the overwhelming number of examples of leftists using vitriolic rhetoric, bloody images and violent intimidation to push their political message on global warming, and despite the fact that extremists like Discovery Channel building gunman James Jay Lee, as well as child killers Francisco Lotero and Miriam Coletti, cited that rhetoric as a direct motivation for their crimes, there was no call to “tone down the rhetoric” from the establishment in the aftermath.
Sheriff Clarence Dupnik has constantly invoked the role of “right-wing rhetoric” in the tragic Tucson murders this past weekend as a smokescreen to distract from his own office’s failure to react to death threats made by shooter Jared Lee Loughner before the massacre. We now know that Dupnik was aware of Loughner’s bizarre and intimidating behavior before the shootings, as well as numerous death threats he had made.
While there isn’t a shred of evidence that Jared Lee Loughner’s rampage was prompted by anything other than his deranged mental illness, when gunman James Jay Lee took hostages he was acting on violent leftist rhetoric about the need to kill humans to save planet earth. As soon as the establishment media and the leftist blogs discovered that Lee did not fit into the mould of a right-wing tea partier, and in fact was one of their own, they dropped the story like a hot potato. There was no debate about “toning down the rhetoric,” and the 10:10 video of kids being murdered was released just over a month later.
Isn’t it interesting that the establishment only demands we “tone down the rhetoric” when that rhetoric manifests itself as criticism of the state? Meanwhile, leftists are free to continue with their far more threatening and violent rhetoric with barely a murmur of discontent amongst their allies in the corporate press.
Unprincipled Liberals Exploit an Insane Loughner to Condemn Political Opposition
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
January 10, 2011
Confronted with the fact Jared Lee Loughner was not a Tea Party supporter – or for that matter your garden variety leftwinger or Obama devotee – the liberals have shifted tactics.
Loughner is nothing more than a catalyst for liberals so they might equate opposition to the state to murderous extremism.
“Based on what we know so far, the Tucson killings look like more like politically tinged schizophrenia,” writes Jacob Weisberg for Slate. Loughner, according to Weisberg, is a product of Arizona’s “anti-government, pro-gun, xenophobic populism.” In short, the predominant political atmosphere of the Grand Canyon State made Loughner do it. Personal responsibility is not part of the equation.
“Extremist shouters didn’t program Loughner, in some mechanistic way, to shoot Gabrielle Giffords. But the Tea Party movement did make it appreciably more likely that a disturbed person like Loughner would react, would be able to react, and would not be prevented from reacting, in the crazy way he did,” Weisberg continues.
Loughner is merely a rhetorical device for Weisberg and the state-loving intelligentsia. Mr. Weisberg follows SPLC talking points to the letter and dredges up the extensively documented false flag event conducted by the government in Oklahoma City more than a decade and a half ago in order to demonize political activism against the government in the here and now:
At the core of the far right’s culpability is its ongoing attack on the legitimacy of U.S. government – a venomous campaign not so different from the backdrop to the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. Then it was focused on ‘government bureaucrats’ and the ATF. This time it has been more about Obama’s birth certificate and health care reform. In either case, it expresses the dangerous idea that the federal government lacks valid authority. It is this, rather than violent rhetoric per se, that is the most dangerous aspect of right-wing extremism.
Loughner is nothing more than a catalyst for Weisberg and others so they might equate opposition to the state to murderous extremism.
It is crucial for Mr. Weisberg and crew to fallaciously connect the dots – principled opposition to government leads to murder – but only when Republicans are in control. Obama’s continuation of neocon wars and mass murder campaigns is irrelevant.
As the patriot community has demonstrated on numerous occasions, the federal government has overstepped its constitutional bounds, especially in its dealings with the states.
Nancy Pelosi and establishment Democrats have revealed nothing short of brazen contempt and animosity toward the Constitution. Both Republicans and Democrats are woefully ignorant of the founding document. The most obvious example of the latter occurred when Republican John Boehner – now Speaker of the House – mistook the Declaration of Independence for the Constitution. It is no longer required for those claiming to be our servants to read and understand the nation’s founding document.
For establishment politicians, the Constitution is little more than wallpaper – or as George W. Bush allegedly declared, it is nothing more than a goddamn piece of paper.
For Mr. Weisberg and crew, the Second Amendment and the admonitions of the founders on the pervasive dangers of tyranny and the power of a centralized and unchecked state serve as excuses for mentally unstable individuals like Jared Lee Loughner.
Moreover, according Weisberg, Loughner was only capable of wantonly killing people because of a lack of state power over the individual and because the nation has yet to effectively force health care at gunpoint on citizens:
First you rile up psychotics with inflammatory language about tyranny, betrayal, and taking back the country. Then you make easy for them to get guns. But if you really want trouble, you should also make it hard for them to get treatment for mental illness.
It cannot be stressed enough – Weisberg and the state-loving intellectuals are adamantly opposed to the Constitution, as Ezra Klein demonstrated last month when he declared on MSNBC that the document does not have “binding on anything,” least of all the coercive and violent character of the state.
The foundation and academy nurtured intellectuals represented by Weisberg and Klein are part of a traitorous breed that feels empowered to freely speak their minds now that Obama is in the White House. They are not opposed to the state’s monopoly on power and violence, although many of them claimed to be when Obama’s twin George W. Bush was in office.
Tucson shooter Jared Lee Loughner was not affiliated with any political party and failed to vote in the 2010 election, further bolstering the fact that his rampage was borne out of a deranged mental illness and had nothing to do with him reacting to vitriolic rhetoric put out by anti-government activists, as the establishment media and their liberal attack dog blogs have ceaselessly claimed in an effort to eviscerate the First Amendment

Tucson shooter Jared Lee Loughner was not affiliated with any political party and failed to vote in the 2010 election, further bolstering the fact that his rampage was borne out of a deranged mental illness and had nothing to do with him reacting to vitriolic rhetoric put out by anti-government activists, as the establishment media and their liberal attack dog blogs have ceaselessly claimed in an effort to eviscerate the First Amendment.
In a Washington Post piece, Chris Cillizza reports that Loughner was a registered independent, but did not vote in 2010. He did vote in 2006 and 2008, but interestingly, the Post refuses to say who he voted for.
“Loughner’s decision to affiliate as an independent rather than a Republican or Democrat would seem to affirm the sense that while he targeted Giffords in the attack, it was not a decision born of a set of deeply held political beliefs that fit neatly into either party,” writes Cillizza, marking possibly the first time a major establishment media mouthpiece has conceded that efforts to portray Loughner as a tea party conservative are not only insensitive, opportunist and distasteful – but also completely incorrect.
Cillizza remarks that conservatives who pointed out that leftists were wrong to characterize Loughner as a crazed right-winger acting out on extremist political rhetoric have had their case “strengthened by subsequent glimpses into his personal life that suggests someone struggling with mental illness”.

Leftists Attack Parents Of Murdered 9-Year-Old How low will some people stoop to play at partisan politics by exploiting the weekend’s tragic events? We’ve already seen the bar set pretty damn low by elements of the media and some public officials, yet its hard to imagine how much further anyone can go than to verbally attack the parents of the slain 9 year old Christina Taylor Green.

How low will some people stoop to play at partisan politics by exploiting the weekend’s tragic events? We’ve already seen the bar set pretty damn low by elements of the media and some public officials, yet its hard to imagine how much further anyone can go than to verbally attack the parents of the slain 9 year old Christina Taylor Green.
Yet this is exactly what sometime AOL writer Jeanne Sager does in an article published today on parenting blog Cafemom.com.
“Seeing the couple on Dateline NBC last night, my first inclination was to grit my teeth and ask what kind of parent is ready to go on national TV 24 hours after the loss of their child?” writes Sager.
“The same type of parents who paraded their child out in a book about babies born on 9/11/01? They don’t deserve to be parents if they’re going to use horrors for their own gains.” she adds.
Exactly what “gains” are we talking about here Ms Sager? Their beloved child has just been shot dead. What in the world makes you believe they are gaining anything?
“…watching the Greens so exacting as they spoke of their daughter, so unfeeling. What, you couldn’t even summon a tear for your little girl? Everywhere I look, they’re talking to the media. To Fox News. To USA Today.” the disgusting slop continues.
Obviously Sager missed the entirety of John Green’s appearance on Fox News, in which he defiantly fought back the tears to convey the message that this awful but completely isolated and random event should not be exploited to revoke the core freedoms protected under the first and second amendments.
“We don’t need any more restrictions on our society,” Mr Green said, adding that sometimes our continued freedom comes at an awful cost.
While Sager stops her attack short and admits it is “completely unfair” and that she “feels sorry” for the family, it doesn’t prevent her from ending the piece with the question “Did you find yourself wondering why the Greens didn’t get off TV?”
The Greens are not fitting neatly into the script for those so called “liberals” that are happy to exploit the cold blooded murder of a child for political grist.
Presumably, Sager and her ilk would have no qualms with the TV appearances of the Greens should they have demanded the immediate passage of laws to make perceived threats a federal crime or to introduce hastily thrown together gun control bills.
These leftist vultures are the equivalent of the hordes of rightist neo-con hacks that professed hatred (yes, actual hatred) for the 9/11 victims’ families who opposed the subsequent relentless slaughter of thousands more innocent people half a world away in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The fact that their despicable smear machine has already ground to a halt in the wake of the revelation that gunman Jared Lee Loughner was a left-wing, pot-smoking liberal, rather than a flag waving tea party Sarah Palin supporter, is one blessing that the still sane can count.
Perhaps the only other is that in amongst a barrage of shameless partisan exploitation of another tragic event, Americans have been reminded that in the face of danger and darkness, there are still those who believe in preserving the values the nation was founded on, rather than tearing them apart.
Statements on Tucson shooting: ‘Entire tea party’ was Giffords’ enemy, father says
U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords was alive but in surgery at a hospital on Saturday after a shooting that also injured at least nine other people, a hospital spokeswoman said, according to Reuters. Below, U.S. officials and others, including Ms. Giffords’ father released statements about the attack.
The New York Post was able to contact Spencer Giffords as he headed to the hospital, asking him if Ms. Giffords had any enemies. From the Post:
The congresswoman’s father Spencer Gifford, 75, was rushing to the hospital when asked if his 40-year-old daughter had any enemies. "Yeah," he told The Post. "The whole Tea Party." He added that politicians constantly faced danger. "They always get threat[ened]," Gifford said, sobbing. "We don’t really have any information. The police department was supposed to call us but they didn’t."

As Democrats muster to assault the First and Second Amendments in the wake of the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and others in Arizona, a tidal wave of information about the alleged shooter is now finding its way into the media.
Fox News reports on DHS effort to portray Loughner as a rightwing extremist.
Democrats and liberal talking heads have taken Rahm Emanuel’s maxim to heart – never let good crisis go to waste – and are attempting to portray Jared Lee Loughner as a rightwinger who shot Giffords because she is a Democrat and Obamacare supporter. In fact, the truth is the exact opposite.
Classmates describe Loughner as a “leftwing pothead” who was a disruptive presence in class. In a Tweet, fellow student Caitie Parker said the accused gunman was “quite liberal” and a “political radical.” He listed Hitler’s Mein Kampf and Marx’s Communist Manifesto as his favorite books.
He also subscribed to the liberal religion of animal rights. Loughner worked as a volunteer at the Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, according to reports.
But it was not simply leftist radicalism and worship of diehard socialists like Marx and Hitler that motivated Loughner. It turns out he was also into the occult.
“Hidden within a camouflage tent behind Jared Lee Loughner’s home sits an alarming altar with a skull sitting atop a pot filled with shriveled oranges,” reports the New York Daily News today. “Experts on Sunday said the elements are featured in the ceremonies of a number of occult groups.”
Human skulls and animal sacrifice are important elements in the pagan religion of Santería, also known as voodoo. Fruit also plays an important part in Santería rituals.
In addition, Loughner claimed to be a homosexual. In posts on the uber-liberal website Daily Kos, he wrote: “Not a single issue voter, but if I was, gay rights would be it. I just want Democrats to be tough. And I wish Obama were tougher. That’s all. I’m a proud gay!” His Daily Kos handle was “Boy Blue.”
According to news and talk radio station WCBM in Maryland, Daily Kos attempted to scrub Loughner’s comments. “The leftists at the Obama-supporting Daily Kos tried to cover up Loughner’s leftist leanings, and wasted no time in deleting his page from their website, but I was able to grab it from the Google cache,” explains a post on the website.
Regardless of all this, the liberal corporate media insists on portraying Loughner as a conservative.
“Loughner echoes concerns of Tea Party movement,” the Guardian declared over the weekend.
The corporate media has strived to link Loughner’s actions to Sarah Palin, the diva of the manufactured Tea Party movement. In election season campaign literature, Palin’s PAC used gun sights on a map of the United States illustrating regions of the country to be “targeted” by establishment Republicans.
Liberal fount AlterNet pointed to Loughner’s disjointed rants about currency in order to make the case he is a dangerous gold and silver “radical.” Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center argued that the idea of constitutional money was responsible for “so much violence in the 1990s. It’s linked to the core Patriot theory that the Federal Reserve is actually a private corporation run for the benefit of unnamed international bankers.”
On Sunday, the media attempted to connect Loughner to “an anti-Semitic, anti-government hate group that has ads for tea party organizations on its website,” according to the liberal website Politico. “The group’s website features what appear to be paid advertisements for tea party versions of the ‘don’t tread on me’ flag.”
The Tea Party did not invent the Gadsden Flag. The flag was designed by and is named after American general and statesman Christopher Gadsden. It was also used by the United States Marine Corps as an early motto flag.
The unsubstantiated connection to a purported racist organization was made by the Department of Homeland Security in order to minimize the emerging portrait of the killer as a deranged leftist and set the stage for efforts to curtail political speech in the United States. The DHS leaked a memo containing the accusation to the corporate media on Sunday.
In 2009, a DHS report on “rightwing extremism” was leaked to the media. It attempted to link patriot groups to violence, racism, and white supremacy.
The corporate media is now engaged in a frontal assault against the First Amendment and political speech. According to U.S. News & World Report, it would be “folly to treat the shooting as though it had nothing to do with the sort of violence-themed and inciteful rhetoric employed by some leaders and followers of the Tea Party.”
According to the New York Times’ in-house Keynesian and unabashed worshipper of the state, Paul Krugman, we should not be surprised by the shooting. “When you heard the terrible news from Arizona, were you completely surprised? Or were you, at some level, expecting something like this atrocity to happen?” It is the “eliminationist rhetoric” (sic) of the Republicans and Tea Party movement, according to Krugman, that led to the murder of an innocent child and others in Arizona.
In addition to trashing the Second Amendment, liberals and Democrats are calling for rolling back the First Amendment in response to the shooting.
Rep. Bob Brady, a Pennsylvania Democrat, says he plans to introduce a bill criminalizing the use of certain forms of “threatening imagery” against lawmakers and judges, according to Raw Story. “Direct threats against presidents are already punishable by law, but the criminalization of forms of imagery are likely to raise important questions about free speech and First Amendment rights,” Sahil Kapur notes.
“Speaking to Fox News, the father of the 9-year-old girl killed as a result of Loughner’s rampage commendably labeled the tragic events a ‘random act’ and said that the death of his daughter should not be exploited to revoke freedoms,” Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson write today.
Democrats and liberals, however, should not be expected to heed Mr. Green’s warning. The violent and senseless act of a deranged man who was all over the board politically will be used to demonize and eventually criminalize the political speech of ideological enemies of Democrats and the state.
It will also be used by the government to make the case that Americans should not be allowed to exercise the Second Amendment because they will gun down a political class doing the bidding of international bankers propagandists like Mark Potok insist do not exist.

Joe Zamudio was one of the eyewitnesses that helped pin down the gunman. He reports that Loughner had several more magazines and was trying to reload. Another fact that the establishment media are loathe to report is that Zamudio was a responsible gun owner who was carrying his firearm and was prepared to use it to stop the carnage if necessary.
In their classless urgency to exploit Saturday’s tragic events for political gain, the establishment media and Democrats have attempted to pull a mass hoax on the American people by blaming “right-wing rhetoric” for the massacre even as the facts confirm that shooter Jared Lee Loughner was a pot-smoking left-winger who worshipped skulls, burned the American flag, and listed the Communist Manifesto as one of his favorite books.
Every single day, crazed lunatics claim the lives of innocent people; sometimes it’s a premeditated crime, sometimes it’s a crime of passion, sometimes it’s a complete accident, sometimes it’s an act of terror, and sometimes people are just in the wrong place at the wrong time when a 500 pound bomb is dropped over Afghanistan.

A full scale demonization campaign against conservatives, free speech and the Second Amendment on behalf of Democrats and the establishment media in the wake of Saturday’s shootings has sensationally backfired after it emerged that gunman Jared Lee Loughner was a left-wing, pot-smoking liberal who was into dressing like the grim reaper and dabbling in the occult.
In their fervor to tear down the First and Second Amendments, Democrats and their allies in the corporate media hastily characterized Loughner as an anti-government right-winger in their rush to link him to the Tea Party and Sarah Palin, a connection that is still being invoked as Dems seek to rush through gun control legislation as well as a bill that could make criticism of government a form of hate speech.
However, precisely as Alex Jones forecast on his show last night, it has emerged this morning that Loughner is a devil-worshipper wannabe who idolized fake human skulls and dressed up like the grim reaper.
How often have you witnessed a “tear partier,” an anti-government activist or a conservative engage in any of the following behaviors, all of which are confirmed to have been conducted by Loughner. (1) (2) (3) (4)
- Burning the American flag
- Being a “left-winger” and a “liberal”
- Smoking pot
- Having long hair
- Dressing up as the grim reaper
- Dabbling in the occult by worshipping a replica of a human skull
- Expressing the desire to be a woman
- Describing Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto as a favorite book
Does it sound like Jared Lee Loughner was a right-wing conservative, as the liberal smear machine is attempting to claim?
Despite the fact that Loughner’s former classmate described him as “quite liberal” and “left wing,” the New York Times, Washington Post, along with a host of statist blogs like Huffington Post and the Daily Kos, were beating the drum for so-called right-wingers (opponents of Obamacare or big government) to be politically silenced in the name of “toning down the rhetoric”.
In reality, Loughner’s political views were all over the map, sharing characteristics of conservatism, liberalism and libertarianism. He was a fundamentally disturbed and deranged individual, which was the main reason for the carnage he become embroiled in, not because he was a tea partier influenced by the resistance against big government, as the establishment is now trying to claim.
The haste with which the attack machine had manufactured Loughner’s persona before his name was even known as a dangerous right-winger proves that the establishment had already embarked on a sickening plan to exploit the tragedy mere minutes after news of the shootings broke.
We don’t even have a clear motive for why Loughner apparently targeted Congressman Giffords. Indeed, since both Giffords and federal judge John Roll were both very conservative in their policies towards gun control and immigration, how do we know that Loughner’s anger wasn’t rooted in leftist rage?
Another key facet to this story is the fact that Loughner’s mental instability was well known on his campus, and yet “College authorities ignored repeated warnings that the drug-taking 22-year-old was a potential danger, a former teacher claimed last night.”
Despite the fact that Loughner’s profile is now confirmed as a black-clad, occult-dabbling, pot smoking unstable loner, in a similar mould to Columbine killers Harrison and Klebold, the establishment is still blaming so-called right-wing radio and talk show hosts for the tragedy and demanding that Americans “tone down their rhetoric,’ which is a mere euphemism for a brazen attempt to stifle criticism of the state altogether.
Speaking to Fox News, the father of the 9-year-old girl killed as a result of Loughner’s rampage commendably labeled the tragic events a “random act” and said that the death of his daughter should not be exploited to revoke freedoms.
Speaking on the subject of how travel became a nightmare after 9/11, John Green said, “We don’t need any more restrictions on our society,” as a consequence of the shootings, and said that tragic events such as those that led to the murder of his daughter was the price Americans have to pay for freedom.

Even as Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik implied that conservative radio and television talk show hosts were to blame for shootings that killed six people and critically wounded Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, it began to emerge that the gunman was a left-wing high school dropout who liked to smoke marijuana and read Karl Marx literature.
Despite the fact that Loughner’s former classmate described him as “quite liberal” and “left wing,” the New York Times, Washington Post, along with a host of statist blogs like Huffington Post and the Daily Kos, were beating the drum for so-called right-wingers to be politically silenced in the name of “toning down the rhetoric”.
How many tea partiers have you seen burning American flags and erecting satanic shrines to skulls?
Despite the facts behind Loughner’s political beliefs, Democrats are wasting no time in crassly seizing upon the death of a 9-year-old girl, a federal judge and others in their efforts to eviscerate both the First and Second Amendments.
“One of the fiercest gun-control advocates in Congress, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.), pounced on the shooting massacre in Tucson Sunday, promising to introduce legislation as soon as Monday targeting the high-capacity ammunition the gunman used,” reports Politico.
Of course, if there were more responsible people in the crowd on Saturday who had been carrying firearms, the massacre could have been far less tragic. It was reported that one member of the audience fired upon Loughner and this contributed towards less people being shot.
Presumably, McCarthy and the rest of the gun control crowd will be happier when the United States resembles Mexico, where murder rates skyrocketed to the highest in history after a strict gun ban was instituted. The criminals, safe in the knowledge that law-abiding people were left defenseless, were emboldened by the gun ban and Mexico has now become a narco-terror hellhole in a state of near collapse.
Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Rep. Robert Brady is preparing to introduced legislation that is aimed at “closing down the rhetoric,” which as we have documented is nothing more than a euphemism for coercing people into stifling their criticism of government.
Brady’s bill would “make it a crime for anyone to use language or symbols that could be seen as threatening or violent against a federal official, including a member of Congress,” a sweeping move that could make threatening to “kick the bums out of office” a hate crime. Targeting the political removal of a Congress member would become a federal crime under the verbiage being used by Brady, who cites the case of Sarah Palin’s campaign using an image of a cross hair over a political district as an example of what would be outlawed. Of course, the fact that the statist left-wing blog Daily Kos used identical “bullseye” rhetoric has been buried.
The attack dogs also conveniently failed to mention a savage hit piece against Giffords that had appeared just days before on the Daily Kos website (since pulled) which bizarrely invoked the word “dead” several times.

In the wake of the tragic Arizona shooting, Rep. Bob Brady (D-PA) says he plans to introduce a bill criminalizing the use of certain forms of threatening imagery against lawmakers and judges.
“You can’t threaten the president with a bullseye or a crosshair,” Brady told the New York Times. He explained to CNN that his bill would also ban symbols or language that threaten “a congressman, senator or federal judge.”
He was referring to a map published last year by Sarah Palin in which House Democrats were targeted for electoral defeat with crosshairs over their districts. One of Palin’s targets was Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), who was among twenty others shot Saturday in Tucson by a gunman. Six died, including federal judge John Roll, a member of Giffords’ staff, and a nine-year-old girl.
“I don’t know what’s in that nut’s head,” Brady said. “I would rather be safe than sorry.”
Direct threats against presidents are already punishable by law, but the criminalization of forms of imagery are likely to raise important questions about free speech and First Amendment rights.

Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa.) reportedly plans to introduce legislation that would make it a federal crime to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a federal official or member of Congress.
Bill Anderson has posted an on-target post about the situation in Arizona. He is critical of a government worshipping editorial published by the New York Times blaming in part libertarians for the carnage.
This deceptive practice of holding up ONE deranged man’s actions as something that “represents” millions of other people (people who would NEVER encourage or participate in the heinous act) needs to end. It’s a lie.

TUCSON, Ariz. - Gabrielle Giffords, the Democratic congresswoman targeted Saturday in a deadly shooting rampage in Tucson, Ariz., that left her gravely wounded and six others dead, warned previously that heated political rhetoric had prompted violent threats against her and vandalism at her office.
FBI director Robert Mueller said the suspected gunman, 22-year-old Jared Lee Loughner, had attended a public event held by Giffords in 2007. In an interview last year with MSNBC, Giffords cited a map of electoral targets put out by Sarah Palin, a Republican former Alaska governor and prominent conservative, that had each marked by the crosshairs of a rifle sight. After the shooting, the graphic was removed from Palin's website and she offered condolences on a posting on Facebook. A Palin aide, Rebecca Mansour, told conservative radio host Tammy Bruce of the graphic: "We never, ever, ever intended it to be gun sights. It was simply crosshairs like you'd see on maps ... a surveyor's symbol."

In the aftermath of the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson, the mainstream media is now desperately trying to blame the attack on “anti-government” sentiment. USA Today ran a tabloid journalism piece that selectively cherry-picked certain phrases used by Jared Lee Loughner in order to create the impression that he was some sort of anti-government nut. Loughner was actually a mentally deranged individual who ranted about everything from “grammar” to imaginary birds (http://www.naturalnews.com/030953_G…). His state of mind, as evidenced from his YouTube posts, seems incapable of holding any traditionally-recognized political philosophy.
The Associated Press, meanwhile, actually blamed the “political climate” for the shooting, saying, “The nation’s caustic political climate has become a suspect of sorts in the rampage that left six dead and a lawmaker critically injured in Arizona.” The implication from these kinds of stories is that if you criticize the government, you therefore promote violence.
That is, of course, a silly idea, especially considering the fact that the government nearly always uses the threat of violence against its own citizens to get what it wants. To use the example of Obamacare, the law itself says that if citizens don’t buy health insurance, the U.S. government will essentially extract a large sum of money from you by force through the use of IRS agents and, if necessary, the government seizure of your assets.
On the health care front, remember it was the U.S. government that committed medical violence against children by forcing teens with cancer to undergo chemotherapy against their will (http://www.naturalnews.com/019617.html). Various local governments also routinely threaten vegan parents with having their children taken away by Child Protective Services if they don’t start feeding their children processed factory foods such as hamburgers.
The FDA, for its part, routinely sends extremely threatening letters to natural product companies (cherry growers, walnut growers, green tea importers, etc.) that contain extremely threatening language that imply company executives will be “criminally prosecuted” by the FDA, or have their assets seized, or even have their businesses shut down if they don’t agree to admit to crimes they never even committed (selling “unapproved drugs” which are really just cherries). (http://www.naturalnews.com/019366.html)
No one is surprised when the government uses the threat of violence to get what it wants these days. Today, the government actually commits felony crimes against the American people on a daily basis! It’s called the “enhanced pat-down” by the TSA. If you did the exact same thing to another person at your office, you would be arrested as a “violent criminal” and charged with sexual assault.
The FDA, too, has a long history of armed raids against innocents (http://www.naturalnews.com/021791.html) who were merely trying to help others improve their health with the power of nutritional supplements. These raids are always conducted with the use of firearms.
The FDA even sent agents into Ecuador last year to illegally kidnap Greg Caton (http://www.naturalnews.com/027750_G…) and fly him out of the country, in complete violation of international law. This, too, was conducted with the use of multiple armed agents wielding firearms.
More recently, the U.S. government led an armed raid on a Venice, California food cooperative selling raw milk (http://www.naturalnews.com/030136_R…).
When the government commits acts of violence, it’s okay?
There are many other examples of similar acts of violence by the government committed against the People of America, but it all brings me to this important question: Why are people so outraged when citizens commit acts of violence against a government official while relatively few people seem to care when the government commits acts of violence against the People?
The outrage expressed in the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords is entirely justified, as violence is never the answer to disputes. Yet shouldn’t we all be similarly outraged when the government uses violence or the threat of violence to achieve its own political aims with the People?
The mainstream media is dedicating a tremendous amount of coverage to this story on Giffords, and that is certainly appropriate for its own reasons. But did that same media cover the armed raid of a raw milk food store in California? Of course not.
Or how about the story that the U.S. government is conspiring with the GMO industry to threaten “a list of retaliatory targets” in Europe who resist the introduction of GMOs there? (http://www.naturalnews.com/030828_G…) You won’t find that story in the New York Times, USA Today, LA Times or any other U.S. newspaper that I’m aware of.
The language used by the U.S. ambassador to France — the “list of retaliatory targets” — is precisely the kind of language that Sarah Palin is now accused of using against her political opponents in America. Sarah is being called out as an instigator of this shooting, yet I’m not aware of a single mainstream news outlet in America that bothered to cover this story of the U.S. government’s GMO conspiracy to push toxic crops into Europe. By the way, I’m not a Sarah Palin supporter, so that’s not where this is coming from. I’m a Ron Paul supporter, but now it seems that even supporting something like a desire to audit the Fed or honor the Constitution is going to be characterized as “radical” speech that will somehow be blamed for these acts of violence carried out by the mentally deranged.
Non-violence must be a two-way street
This is not meant in any way to excuse this act of violence against Giffords and those who attended her meeting. I’m already on the record condemning this act, and in every case that I have pushed for grassroots advocacy on this website, it has been done with the strict urging of non-violent action.
Yet, unlike so many in the mainstream media, I believe non-violence should work both ways. I believe the United States government should stop using violence and the threat of violence against its own People in its efforts to oppress food freedom, to vaccinate children against their parents’ will, and to force people to buy into a health care plan they do not wish to purchase or use.
If you do not yet understand that the government uses violence as a matter of course to get its way, then I challenge you to stop paying your property taxes for a few years and see what happens. Before long, your property will be taken from you (seized) and then sold in order to pay your “liability” to the government. And when they come to remove you from your property, will they bring happy people bearing flowers? Nope. They bring men with guns. The guns, of course, are at their sides to let you know that your compliance is not voluntary. (I pay my property taxes, by the way, and I’m not opposed to financially supporting local government where it makes sense. I use this as a simple example to point out one way in which the threat of violence is used by government.)
Real peace requires governments to be kept in check
If we truly condemn violence, we must condemn it from all sources, including our own governments which are, strictly speaking, the most violent and murderous organizations in the history of the world. Virtually every mass-murder that has taken place in human history has been carried out by a government claiming to be working for “a better world.” (Hitler, Stalin, Mao, you name it…)
This is why the most peaceful society is one in which the government’s power is not absolute, and where the government is held in check by the citizenry who watch over the actions of government. This is also precisely why the founding fathers of the United States of America specifically created a limited federal government structure while guaranteeing certain freedoms and rights to the People as enumerated in the Bill of Rights. When Bush was in office, the government took huge steps to weaken that Bill of Rights with the setting up of secret military prisons and the Patriot Act which allows the government to arrest and detain you indefinitely, without being charged, with no attorney, for any reason they claim is related to terrorism.
The Patriot Act, of course, exists in complete violation of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution. President Obama actually ran on the platform that he would shut down Guantanamo Bay and end the secret military prisons. (There’s another broken campaign promise, eh?)
Statistically speaking, the risk of violent acts occurring in any given country is far, far greater when governments rule over their people with absolute tyranny (Mussolini, Hitler, Pol Pot, etc.) than in a more balanced scale of power where governments must answer to the People. The most important way to prevent violence over the long term is to keep government in check and make sure that its power never nullifies the rights of the People.
This is not a conservative nor liberal point of view. This is a practical peace philosophy that recognizes this simple inescapable fact: Most of the violence committed in our world has been committed by governments against their own people (or against the people of other nations).
As someone who finds the application of violence to resolve problems deeply offensive, I am appalled by the mainstream media’s “selective” outcry of violent acts in certain selected situations while they ignore the threat of violence used every day by the government itself. The violent resolution of disagreements is unacceptable in a civilized society, yet the media apparently has no problem whatsoever covering their eyes and allowing violence to be committed against the People by the government.
Stop government violence against innocents
That is the real tragedy here. How many more innocents must be killed by acts of violence committed by the government before we will wake up and realize that peace is a two-way street?
When the government stops allowing the poisoning our water supply (fluoride), poisoning our food (GMOs), and the mass poisoning of our children (vaccines and psychiatric medication), the anti-government rhetoric will quickly reflect such changes and naturally morph into something far less confrontational. There is a sensible reason why the anti-government rhetoric of today is so strong: Because government is not listening to the People.
When the federal government bails out rich Wall Street banksters to the tune of trillions of dollars while everyday people are losing their jobs and homes, people tend to get irritated (to say the least). When people are treated like cattle by the TSA and sexually molested for merely trying to travel on an airplane, they tend to not like that very much. When farmers are arrested for selling raw cow’s milk to their neighbors, and people who carry homemade chocolate are arrested and treated like drug smugglers, it tends to tee off more than a few citizens.
And when the Obama administration forces us all into buying an insurance police for a sick-care system that we neither use, nor support, nor believe in, people can get downright angry about it. This is not irrational; it is entirely understandable. And it deserves open debate which must include people being able to stand up and point out what’s wrong with various government laws, or policies, or regulatory agencies. This is part of the Democratic process.
Maybe instead of asking why so many people are speaking out against the government, the media should be asking why the government has so little respect for the rights and freedoms of the People in the first place.
And perhaps instead of condemning the People so often, the government should spend a little time trying to figure out how to serve the People. That is, of course, what government was supposed to do in the first place: Serve the interests of the People.
Questioning your government is necessary in any functioning democracy
To the extent that government continues to betray the People (FDA, TSA, CDC, etc.), it should surprise no one that the People aren’t happy about it. Questioning government is one of the most patriotic acts in which an American citizen can engage, because it is that questioning — and a demand for accountability — that forces bureaucrats to answer to the People in some small way.
It is shameful and inexcusable that the mainstream media would now exploit this act of extreme violence committed in Arizona and use it as a condemnation of those who seek to keep their government in check by asking intelligent questions. It’s almost as if the media now wants to order Americans to “shut up and do what you’re told” because Big Government has all the answers for you. Just take your vaccine shots, buy your rip-off sick-care insurance and keep sweating away to earn a few dollars while the Federal Reserve effectively steals your money by creating trillions of dollars that are used to bail out the world’s wealthy elite.
If the mere act of questioning the integrity of the federal government is now going to be blamed for every violent act, then we truly live under a society where the insanity of Jared Loughner has infected the minds of the newsmakers, too. It is a cowardly act to hide behind these deaths in Arizona while shouting out, “The questioners caused this! No more questioning the government!” This is precisely what the government-controlled press announced in the Nazi era. Anyone who dared to ask questions about Hitler’s ever-expanding power was arrested and (usually) put to death.
I believe this is a time when, more than ever, we all need to be standing up and asking questions such as: Is the FDA’s censorship against healthy nutrition part of the reason we have so much mental illness in America?
There’s a question that makes the mainstream media extremely uncomfortable. Pharmaceutical advertising money is at stake, of course, and the last thing the media wants is people asking questions that really threaten to expose the truth behind why so many people in America suffer from mental illness. Hint: It has everything to do with nutrition, which has everything to do with the FDA’s tyrannical censorship of free speech about nutritional therapies.
We’ll cover more about that in a follow-up story. In the mean time, keep questioning government. It is your duty as a free citizen to do so. It is essential to the health and long-term sustainability of any democracy. It is patriotic and fundamentally necessary for the protection of freedom in a functioning democracy.
Do not let the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords be the beginning of America’s jack-booted march down the dark path of stifling Free Speech and demonizing rational dissent.
SPLC blames Ayn Rand, David Icke and Others for Arizona Shooting
Aaron Dykes
Infowars.com

Who is to blame for Jared Loughner’s bizarre shooting yesterday? According to Mark Potok, anyone with even the vaguest links to his bizarre and disjointed online ramblings.
As a shocked world looks to the background of accused shooter Jared Lee Loughner for clues as to why he would shoot a Congresswoman, a Federal judge and others, Mark Potok, spokesman for the Southern Poverty Law Center, predictably stepped forward on Keith Olbermann’s MSNBC program to paint a broad brush against the “radical” right, whom he automatically deems responsible for the shootings.
Going from the books posted on the accused shooter’s You Tube reading list, Potok deceitfully attempts to connect him to author Ayn Rand’s We The Living while ignoring Loughner’s praise for the Communist Manifesto and national socialist Hitler’s Mein Kampf.
Even more outrageously, Potok excerpts a vague term used by Loughner about “conscience dreaming,” which he says he studied in college, and links it to new age speaker, British author and ‘conspiracy theorist’ David Icke, despite the fact that nothing known about Loughner has ever mentioned Icke or his work. Not only is this an example of unjustified guilt-by-association, but David Icke has manifestly promoted non-violence throughout his decades of work. Further ‘conscious dreaming’ is a term often linked to yoga practices and Eastern philosophy not “radical” right wing ideology.
Because Loughner allegedly posted statements about gold and silver-backed currency on his MySpace and other postings, Mark Potok further connects Loughner to right wingers on this point; however, it is the Constitution, in Article I Section 10, which demands that “No State shall… make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.”
Loughner’s You Tube account further includes a bizarre video titled, “How to: Your New Currency,” wherein he makes such incoherent and repetitive statements as “If I’m thinking of creating a new coin that’s in my control as treasurer then I’m thinking my new coin is starting a new currency system. I’m thinking of creating a new coin that’s in my control as treasurer. Hence I’m thinking my new coin is starting a new currency system.”
Regardless of why Loughner advocated gold & silver currency, the position has nothing to do with violent action, nor is it patently connected to the so-called “radical right.”
Potok and his Southern Poverty Law Center are searching for a broader enemy so they can demonize political opponents and chill free speech in general. Jared Lee Loughner’s actions are deplorable and disgusting, but there is no reason to believe it was motivated, endorsed or encouraged by the right wing or any other known political faction. Indeed, the motivation for the accused assassin’s shootings may be hard to pinpoint, as he has many incoherent ramblings which may add up to nothing in particular at all.

Even if other clues about Loughner’s background– such as his being a liberal atheist, critic of ‘government-controlled’ grammar, admirer of the Communist Manifesto, of death music and abortion, or anti-semitic groups– played a role in his going overboard, it is no reason to demonize anyone else matching that background. Potok’s words are influential, and he should be more cautious about casting blame in the direction of any given political movement. Already publications like Politico and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel have run with the idea that Loughner’s murders and near-fatal shootings were triggered by right wing ‘conspiracy theorists.’
Until there is evidence this shooting was caused by anyone other than Loughner himself, people like Potok should put down the blame game. Everyone recognizes that this incident was a tragedy. Alleged links to writers, deceased or otherwise, that Loughner supposedly read may factor into his bizarre background, but have no apparent connection to the shootings’ motivation, nor do they construct a comprehensive pattern. Why then would Potok seek to connect a web of right-wing rhetoric to this killer? That is the war on free speech waging in Potok’s own mind (and he has been at long before this unfortunate incident).
You Tube | True to form, Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law center wastes no time in pointing the finger at “Right Wing Ideology” as the motive for the assassination attempt of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
USA Today | The shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords has sparked an inevitable debate about gun control.
Giffords shooter shows pattern of psychiatric derangement; no clear political affiliation
Mike Adams
Natural News
Jan 9, 2011
Of all the senseless acts of violence we’ve seen over the years, today’s shooting at a Gabrielle Giffords public event in Tucson really strikes home. I spent time in the company of “Gabby” Giffords and met many members of her staff during her first run for Congress. I saw her as a “balanced” representative (a former Republican turned Democrat who still, for example, supported Second Amendment rights) who I thought could bring some new energy into Washington, which seems to perpetually suffer from “Good ‘Old Boys” syndrome.
That she has been violently attacked by an individual who is obviously mentally deranged is shocking and extremely disturbing. Almost as disturbing is how the mainstream media has latched onto this story as a way to demonize anyone who believes in the U.S. Constitution. The shooting suspectJared Lee Loughner, is, by any sensible interpretation, mentally deranged. Yes, he mentioned the Constitution among his various ramblings, but he also listed theCommunist Manifestoas being among his favorite books. In addition, he released a YouTube video containing unintelligible ramblings of repeated nonsense phrases, including references to the government taking away “grammar,” of having a colorful bird on his shoulder, brainwashing and what he called “conscience dreaming.”
The utterly false and irresponsible accusation floating around certain circles on the ‘net that Loughner was some sort of extreme right winger who targeted a Democrat is extremely irresponsible and hateful.Giffords was pro Second Amendmentand publicly supported the right of the People to keep and bear arms. She’s actuallya gun ownerwho urged the U.S. Supreme Court to protect Second Amendment rights. She was also a huge supporter ofa stronger border with Mexico, which has traditionally been one of the key positions of Arizona conservatives. Giffords can’t be pigeonholed into a label, you see. Her views are far more complex than “Democrat” vs “Republican.” She is certainly no “left-wing liberal,” and the attack on her doesn’t appear to be politically motivated at all (see below).
A pattern of psychiatric intervention?
What’s clear from the shooting is thatLoughner was gunning for EVERYBODY, not just Giffords. He unloaded multiple rounds (15 – 20 rounds, according to press reports) on anybody and everybody standing nearby: Children, adults, etc.
Does this ring a bell for anyone? A young white male, disillusioned, confused, mentally deranged… and opening fire on innocent people? That’s the pattern we saw inthe Columbine High School shootingsin 1999, and it turned out that the shooters, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, wereon psychiatric medications. (http://www.naturalnews.com/025826_A…)
In fact, numerous public shootings have been carried out by those who are either on psychiatric medications or who have recently stopped taking them (which can be just as dangerous in the short term). Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold talked about how their world had become like a dream, where they couldn’t tell the difference between the dream world and the waking world. Those are now virtually the same words as Jared Lee Loughnerwho, in his various ramblings, talked about “sleepwalking” during the day and “conscience dreaming [sic]” at other times.
While we have no proof yet that psychiatric drugs are involved here, we do see a very suspicious pattern of mental instability that suggests a likely connection. The sleepwalking behaviors Loughner describes are, in fact, common side effects of psychotropic drugs such as Ambien, which is famous for causing people to actually “sleep drive” into town and suddenly awake in the middle of the road, driving their car in their pajamas, with no knowledge of how they got there (http://www.naturalnews.com/019413.html).
I must stress that we don’t yet know whether Loughner was on sleeping medications or psychiatric drugs, buthis behavior fits the patternof someone who was: The lack of touch with reality, the violent and indiscriminate shooting, and the interweaving of the dream world with the real world. These are red flags of someone who is either suffering from a severe nutritional deficiency that affects brain function (vitamin D, for example, is important for preventing schizophrenia) or someone whose brain has beenchemically alteredthrough pharmacological intervention
The phrase “young white male” should scream out the obvious statistical link to ADHD drugs, by the way. NaturalNews is attempting to determine whether Loughner was previously on psychiatric medications.
What is VERY clear at this point is that Loughner was not of the presence of mind to be rationally affiliated with ANY political party: Not on the left, nor the right. His apparent psychosis takes him way out of the realm of rational participation in any particular philosophy. Even his favorite books listed on his Myspace page adhere to no particularly consistent overriding philosophy. He was, however, fascinated with the question of what is real versus what’s just an imaginary dream. He was a fan ofAlice in Wonderland, for example, as well as George Orwell’sAnimal Farm.
Don’t be fooled by the MSM coverage of this story
Although there is still much more to emerge from this tragic event, it is clear that this is not some simple story about a disgruntled patriot who wanted to kill a Democrat. In fact, Loughner was no patriot at all: He openly talked aboutburning the American flag.
Rather, this is really a story aboutmental illness in America, and the roots of this mental illness are undoubtedly partly found in these elements:
• The chemical contamination of our food and water (fluoride, food additives, etc.)
• Widespread nutritional deficiencies that promote mental illness
• The scourge of the psychiatric drug industry and the widespread drugging of teens and children
… and also, quite possibly:
• The “programming” of young males with extremely violent video games which are now also used in the military to desensitize young adults to the violence of killing. Loughner, by the way, was reportedly a military recruit.
As more facts emerge from this story, we will do our best to cover them here on NaturalNews. I ampersonally angered by these eventsas well as the mainstream media’s outrageously dishonest attempts to twist this story into some sort of “gun nut” angle, which it most definitely is not.
I am also extremely saddened at the loss of life that occurred today, right in Tucson, virtually right next door to where I used to shop for organic produce at the Whole Foods on Oracle (used to be Wild Oats). That was not a “bad” part of town. That whole section of Tucson is actually the safer part of the town. In many ways, it is the “yuppie” part of town where the wealthier folks lived, with their high-end schools. Loughner attended one of those high schools on the northwest side of Tucson, I’ve been told. He was not part of the far rougher schools on the South side of that city.
My heart goes out to Giffords, her family, and the other victims of this senseless crime. Most especially to the young child who was reportedly shot, and the federal judge who was reportedly killed. Several Giffords staff members were also harmed or killed (we don’t have solid details yet). I can tell you that, from my personal experience, the Giffords staff members are very dedicated, hard-working honest peopleand none of them deserve this kind of treatment. I may not agree with all the political decisions of Giffords (she voted for Obamacare, for example), but neither do I condone any use of violence to settle such disagreements.
But remember, this was not an act of political activism. This was an act of madness carried out by a mentally deranged individual. I do not believe Giffords’ political positions had anything to do with it at all. After all, Loughner shot at all the other people in the crowd, too, and he had no way to know their political views either.
Tucson cops, concealed carry firearms and more
There is a report that one individual in the crowd was carrying a concealed firearm and managed to bring it to bear in an effort to stop Loughner from committing further violence. This may have been a lifesaving action. Many people in Arizona carry concealed firearms legally, acting as a sort of “citizens response team” to prevent such violence from taking place. In fact, the Tucson police department, for which I helped raise thousands of dollars as part of my non-profit volunteerism there, is desperately short on cash and actually recruits citizens to help law enforcement do their jobs more effectively there.
I will write more about the dynamics of this, and the Tucson police force, in follow-up articles right here on NaturalNews. As someone who used to attend law enforcement meetings in Tucson, I know many of the high-ranking police officials on a personal basis, and I know them to be some of the most dedicated local law enforcement professionals I’ve ever met. Watch NaturalNews for more follow-up reports as we attempt to dig into this story and find out what could have possibly led to such an act of senseless violence.
We will also take part in any fundraising efforts that get organized to help the victims of this shooting. But the most important thing we can do right now is try to get to the bottom of what’s behind this shooting and thentake actionto prevent such a terrible act of violence from occurring again.

DHS Links Loughner to White Supremacists
Kurt Nimmo | Fox News reports that according to Homeland Security Loughner may be connected to American Renaissance.

Fox News reported earlier today that according to Homeland Security Jared Loughner may be connected to a purported anti-semitic group known as American Renaissance.
The leader of the organization, Jared Taylor, has dismissed the accusation as nonsense. “Taylor says he also has no indication that Loughner ever attended any of AmRen’s events, all of which have been held on the East Coast,” Fox News reports.
“The group’s ideology is anti government, anti immigration, anti ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government), anti Semitic. Gabrielle Gifford is the first Jewish female elected to such a high position in the US government. She was also opposite this group’s ideology when it came to immigration debate,” writes Jennifer Griffin, a colleague of Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren.
In 2009, a DHS report on “rightwing extremism” attempted to portray Second Amendment and anti-illegal immigrant activists as potentially violent. DHS secretary Janet Napolitano defended the report after it leaked to the media.
David Franke, writing for Lew Rockwell’s blog, notes that even the SPLC is having a difficult time connecting the accused shooter to white supremacist groups. “The Southern Poverty Law Center is a leftist organization, of course, that does its best to tie racists and extremists to conservatives at every opportunity. If they cannot find Loughner in their database, that’s a pretty good indication that he’s not a conservative activist,” he writes.
In fact, it appears Loughner is a liberal. “As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal. & oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy,” Caitie Parker, a former classmate, wrote in a series of Twitter feeds Saturday according to the New York Times.
During a news conference on the shootings earlier today in Tucson, FBI director Robert Mueller sidestepped a question on American Renaissance and a possible connection to Loughner.
The SPLC’s Mark Potok had a difficult time linking Loughner to anti-government groups. “He certainly sounds like he’s gone off the deep end, but at the same time, he is mouthing some rhetoric that is quite reminiscent of the anti-government movement… It’s hard to know what to make of his ideology,” Potok said.
The SPLC has a checkered past when it comes to white supremacist groups. In 2003, the McCurtain Daily Gazette reported that the SPLC had an informant inside Elohim City. “Exposed for the first time, the FBI acknowledged the SPLC was engaged in an undercover role where they monitored subjects for the FBI believed to be linked to executed bomber Timothy McVeigh, the white supremacist compound at Elohim City and the mysterious German national Andreas Carl Strassmeir,” the newspaper reported.
Strassmeier worked for German intelligence and is believed to have functioned as an informant and agent provocateur at Elohim City.
Salt Lake attorney Jesse Trentadue claims McVeigh was aided by a white supremacist group that had been infiltrated by the FBI. Trentadue obtained FBI documents in a Freedom of Information Act suit against the FBI. Trentadue’s brother Kenny was murdered in a federal penitentiary under mysterious circumstances after he was mistaken for Richard Guthrie, a member of the Aryan Republican Army and Midwest Bank Robbers. It was believed by authorities that Guthrie was involved in the Oklahoma City bombing.
The FBI is notorious for using white supremacists in its covert operations. The agency paid radio talk show host and blogger Hal Turner to make racist and antisemitic remarks. The Record of Bergen County reported in 2009 that the agency paid Turner thousands of dollars. According to Assistant Special Agent in Charge Amy Pickett, the third highest ranking FBI official in New York City, Turner was involved in “National Security Intelligence.”
In the 1970s, the Church Committee hearings and internal FBI documents revealed that more than one quarter of all active Klan members during the period were FBI agents or informants.
In other words, if Mr. Loughner is eventually connected to white supremacists, we can say with a fair degree of certainty that he is a useful idiot used by the government to create a toxic atmosphere designed to crack down on anti-government political activism.

The FBI and local law enforcement in Pima County, Arizona, are looking for a second man wanted in connection with the shooting of Rep. Giffords and the murder of a federal judge and five others.
The man is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 40-50 years old with dark hair, who was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark blue jacket. Fox News reported early Sunday that the man may have given the accused assassin, Jared Lee Loughner, a ride to the supermarket. Is it possible he acted as Loughner’s handler in a larger assassination plot?
Early in the Oklahoma City bombing case, the FBI sought a second man, described as John Doe 2. Police sketches of the man were released to the media.
By the time the government was ready to prosecute Timothy McVeigh, however, John Doe 2 slipped into the background. Justice Department officials told the corporate media that the three witnesses at a truck rental business might have been confused when they were originally interviewed and said a second man accompanied McVeigh. “And finding out otherwise was impossible for most reporters, because the witnesses in Kansas were under intense pressure by the FBI not to talk to the press,” J. D. Cash wrote for the McCurtain Daily Gazette in 2004.
“Regardless of the fact the witnesses at the truck rental were holding firm, by the time the much-anticipated murder and conspiracy trials for McVeigh and Nichols began in Denver in 1997, the government was working overtime trying to dismiss evidence that there had ever been a John Doe 2, or any other suspects that might muddy their cases against McVeigh and Nichols,” Cash writes.
The FBI later admitted it had withheld evidence about informants who claimed Timothy McVeigh had additional accomplices. “Filings in the case also revealed the existence of at least four informants who were part of the Oklahoma City bombing investigation, including the one working undercover and another under an explicit confidentiality agreement,” J. M. Berger wrote for Intelwire in 2006.
Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, the Christmas non-bombing patsy who attempted to light his underwear on fire, was delivered to the airport and placed on the plane by a “sharp dressed man” who had pull with airport authorities. Kurt Haskell, a passenger on the flight, told Alex Jones last year that the man was detained and handcuffed following Mutallab’s stunt. Since the event, however, the corporate media has ignored the participation of this Indian man, who was apparently Mutallab’s handler and managed to get the dim-witted Nigerian on the flight despite the fact he did not have a passport. He was also suspiciously removed from a terror watch list prior to the flight.
It is very early in the Giffords shooting case. The FBI and Arizona law enforcement say they are looking for a second man connected to the murders, but this may fade into the background as the government prepares to prosecute Loughner.
The official story that will become gospel for the corporate media is in the process of formulation. A second man may not be part of that narrative.
Paul Joseph Watson | Isn’t it interesting that the establishment only demands we “tone down the rhetoric” when that rhetoric manifests itself as criticism of the state?
Establishment exploits actions of deranged lunatic to stifle freedom of speech

Despite the fact that Jared Lee Loughner was a psychotic loner with “left-wing” beliefs according to those who knew him, the establishment has hastily exploited yesterday’s tragic shooting in Tucson to demonize conservatives, libertarians and gun owners while ordering Americans to “tone down the rhetoric,” which is nothing more than a euphemism for stifling dissent and coercing people to roll over on Obamacare, bailouts and whatever big government is preparing to unleash next.
“The nation’s caustic political climate has become a suspect of sorts in the rampage that left six dead and a lawmaker critically injured in Arizona. Already, appeals are being heard to tone down the rhetoric,” reports the Associated Press, in doing so framing the debate and profiting from the actions of a deranged lunatic to launch a fresh assault on freedom of speech.
Make no bones about it – “tone down the rhetoric” means stifling dissent, it can have no other possible meaning. Because a lunatic decided to kill others in a bid to give his worthless life some meaning, Americans are being ordered to shut their mouths about Obamacare, endless bailouts, and the fact that their political representatives in Washington (with some notable exceptions) have ceased to represent their interests.
Arizona Sheriff Dupnik wasted no time in blaming the deaths on conservative talk radio and television presenters, despite the fact that Loughner was a “left-winger” who listed amongst his favorite books The Communist Manifesto.
“The vitriolic rhetoric that we hear day in and day out from people in the radio business and some people in the TV business … This has not become the nice United States that most of us grew up in, he said.”
Dupnik then took a swipe at people opposing the growth of big government, wasting no time in blaming them for the tragedy.
“When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government,” he said. “The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on this country is getting to be outrageous and unfortunately Arizona has become sort of the capital. We have become the Mecca for prejudice and bigotry.”
Even before the identity of the gunman was known, the Associated Press was busy tying the massacre to Sarah Palin and second amendment organizations. We’re no fans of Palin, but the fact that the AP cited one of her campaign images that centered around targeting certain states as political battlegrounds to imply that Palin was partly responsible for the carnage, while ignoring almost identical “crosshair” images against Giffords put out by liberal groups, underscores how eager the establishment was to seize upon the tragedy for crass political points scoring.
While blaming tea partiers and conservatives without a shred of connecting evidence, the likes of Associated Press, the Washington Post, and a slew of statist Obama worshipping liberal websites, conveniently failed to mention a savage hit piece against Giffords that had appeared just days before on the Daily Kos website (since pulled) which bizarrely invoked the word “dead” several times.
Indeed, as statists rushed to finger tea partiers as being responsible, they conveniently ignored the fact that Giffords was a pro-border control, pro-second amendment blue dog Democrat. In addition, the federal judge that was killed, John Roll, was a strong opponent of the Brady gun control bill. Giffords and Roll would make strange targets for anti-government extremists, since both of them have voting records that put them in alliance with most conservatives.
Despite this, the AP tried to use the shooting to attack second amendment rights by alluding to Giffords’ Republican challenger Jesse Kelly last year inviting supporters to join him at a pro-gun event.
“I don’t see the connection,” between the fundraisers featuring weapons and Saturday’s shooting, said John Ellinwood, Kelly’s spokesman. “I don’t know this person, we cannot find any records that he was associated with the campaign in any way. I just don’t see the connection.
“Arizona is a state where people are firearms owners — this was just a deranged individual.”
In addition, there was little mention of the fact that it was a responsible firearm owner who used his second amendment rights to help stop the carnage. It was reported that one member of the crowd interrupted Loughner’s rampage by shooting at him with his own concealed carry gun.
While the establishment continues to characterize the gunman as an anti-government extremist in a transparent ploy to chill dissent against big government, Loughner’s favorite You Tube video was a clip of someone burning an American flag. Forgive me if I’m mistaken, but I don’t recall seeing too many tea partiers burning American flags at political rallies.
When it turned out that Discovery Channel building gunman James Jay Lee was a statist zealot and a global warming alarmist, there was little call for anyone to “tone down rhetoric” about doomsday climate change scenarios. Isn’t it interesting that the establishment only demands we “tone down the rhetoric” when that rhetoric manifests itself as criticism of the state?
“Toning down the rhetoric,” or becoming afraid to speak out against the government, will do nothing whatsoever to stop mentally ill people with no political affiliations committing crimes.
By exploiting tragedies to coerce Americans into “toning down the rhetoric,” the establishment hopes to suffocate criticism of the state, opposition to Obamacare (next week’s hearings on a repeal have already been cancelled), and allow the march of big government to continue unimpeded.

Get ready for the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords to be used in a serious way against the Tea Party movement. MSNBC, CNN and the rest of the Mockingbird media are now attempting to portray millions of Americans as violence prone anti-government radicals.
Fox News attributes the shooting to anti-government sentiment.
In the hours following the shooting liberal bloggers blamed Sarah Palin’s mid-term election rhetoric for the Gifford shooting. Palin’s campaign organization, SarahPac, posted an ad targeting Democrat Giffords for defeat during the election. The liberal blogosphere is directly accusing Palin of stoking hatred against the Arizona Congresswoman that led to the shooting in a Tucson parking lot.
Daily Kos and FireDogLake have taken up the charge and are blaming Palin directly. Sarah Palin is not an anti-government radical – she is part of the establishment Republican party and to accuse her of calling for the assassination of Gifford is ludicrous.
The word “target” is a well established part of the Democrat-Republican political lexicon.
In a Tweet, suspected CIA operative Markos Moulitsas of Daily Kos wrote sarcastically: “Mission accomplished, Sarah Palin.”
Arizona Democrat Rep. Raul Grijalva denounced what he describes as a political environment poisoned by “anger, hatred, and division.” Grijalva blamed the Tea Party movement: “[When] you stoke these flames, and you go to public meetings and you scream at the elected officials, you threaten them – you make us expendable you make us part of the cannon fodder. For a while, you’ve been feeding this hatred, this division… you feed it, you encourage it…. Something’s going to happen. People are feeding this monster…. Some of the extreme right wing has made demonization of elected officials their priority.”
In other words when citizens victimized by a predatory and arrogant government angrily confront their so-called representatives, it is tantamount of calling for violence and assassination.
“I think that Sarah has finally yelled fire in a crowded theatre,” a post on the Firedoglake blog avers. “If they can show that this dipstick was in any way influenced by Palin’s dog-whistle advocacy of violence, they need to drag her ass in for an arraignment.”
“I know Sarah and the GOP spamming their mentally ill constituency that it is, ‘OK to kill people if they don’t share your beliefs’ doesn’t help the situation but it is really too early to say what the attacker’s motives were,” said another.
“This tragedy rests sorely on your doorstep Ms. Palin,” blogger Bartholomew Hayes wrote. “Your irresponsible rhetoric has brought senseless violence against the American people.”
All of this posturing is absurd. Sarah Palin is obviously a creation of the establishment. She was appointed the unofficial leader of the Tea Party movement after a large part of it was craftily transformed by operatives into a harmless cheerleading section for the Republican party. Palin’s handlers made sure she publicly kissed the ring of top level Rockefeller minion and notorious unapprehended war criminal Henry Kissinger.
“A lot of people have bets on how long it will take before they blame this on the tea party and that’s absolutely ridiculous,” Debbie Dooley, a national coordinator for Tea Party Patriots, told Congress.org.
The Tea Party movement originally established by Libertarians and Ron Paul and subsequently co-opted and brought trance-like into the Republican party Borg hive is not a threat to the establishment.
The real Tea Party not co-opted by Republicans is the obvious target of what yet may turn out to be another staged event. Sarah Palin is the television reality show queen and propped up figurehead of an orchestrated movement funded in part by the CIA operative Richard Mellon Scaife.
The CIA has perfected the art of undermining and destroying indigneous political movements in opposition to the ruling elite and their power structures and institutions. The FBI’s covert and illegal COINTELPRO operation took down countless political movements, most notably the anti-war and civil rights movements of the 1960s. Fred Hampton and other Black Panthers were assassinated as part of the FBI’s reign of terror.
“Regardless of why the shooting took place, there will be a lot of talk about violence in America in coming days,” warns corporate behemoth Time Magazine.
In addition to further demonizing the Tea Party and other constitutionalist and patriotic movements, the brutal murder of innocents and the serious wounding of a Democrat Congress critter will be used to ramp up the statist argument that Congress needs to pass gun control legislation. The visage of Timothy McVeigh and homegrown terrorism will also get a new lease on life.
“Others on the left have taken it upon themselves to politicize this event by trying to paint it as an argument for stronger gun control laws,” warns Solomon Kleinsmith. “This coming even as we know next to nothing about this Jared Lee Loughner character, where he got his weapon, or if there was any history of violent legal problems.”
For the elite, the problem is not violence. It is the existence of and threat posed by a viable and growing constitutionalist movement that demands the Federal Reserve be closed down and the banksters responsible for the unfolding global economic crisis be arrested and tried for crimes against humanity.

Jared Loughner, the gunman who shot Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and numerous other victims including a Federal Judge and a nine-year-old girl during a political event in Tucson today, was a US military recruit who was obsessed with mind control, mirroring the circumstances of many other mass shooters in history.

Loughner’s You Tube channel contains several rambling text-based videos which discuss his fascination with mind control.
In one of his online rants, Loughner said that he was a “United States Military recruit at MEPS in Phoenix”. Reports suggest that he also may have been deployed to Afghanistan at one point.
“The mission of USMEPCOM and the Phoenix MEPS is to process individuals for enlistment or induction into the armed services,” states the website of the United States Military Entrance Processing Command.
The fact that Loughner was part of the US military and yet is being characterized as an anti-government conspiracy nutcase by the establishment media is a complete contradiction. Loughner’s multitude of viewpoints seem to transcend political classification. Watching his You Tube videos, he is clearly a schizophrenic who is obsessed with mind control and other bizarre leftfield issues of minutia.
Loughner’s vulnerable and psychotic profile, combined with his interest in mind control, mirrors other famous assassins such as Mark David Chapman, John Hinckley, as well as Columbine killers Harris & Klebold.
Another paralel can be drawn to Sirhan Sirhan, the accused assassin of Robert Kennedy. Although Sirhan was blamed as the lone individual behind the shooting, forensic evidence that emerged in 2008 confirmed that he did not fire the fatal shot.
As the London Independent reported in 2005, evidence strongly indicates that Sirhan was a Manchurian candidate, a victim of mind control who was set up to be the fall guy for the murder. Sirhan was described by eyewitnesses as being in a trance-like state as he pulled the trigger.
“There was no way Sirhan Sirhan killed Kennedy,” said (Sirhan’s lawyer Larry) Teeter, who has filed the lawsuit to preserve the pantry for further forensic examination. “He was the fall guy. His job was to get busted while the trigger man walked out. He wasn’t consciously involved in any plot. He was a patsy. He was unconscious and unaware of what was happening – he was the true Manchurian Candidate.”
Teeter does not know for certain who hypnotised Sirhan, but, he said: “I know it was done. It was consistent with the US government’s programme developed by the CIA and Military Intelligence to enable handlers to get people to commit crimes with no knowledge of what they are doing.”
Evans goes further and names the hypnotist as a Dr William Joseph Bryan Jnr. He had worked on a CIA mind-control programme called MKULTRA and claimed to have moonlighted as a technical adviser on The Manchurian Candidate. The hypnosis, says Evans, had been done over three months, a period known as the “white fog” when the Los Angeles police task force later investigating the assassination – and trying to construct a meticulous timetable of Sirhan’s activities up to the shooting – lost track of him.
Sergeant Bill Jordan, the detective who was Sirhan’s first interrogator, told Evans: “We took him back for more than a year with some intensity – where he’d been, what he’d been doing, who he’d been seeing. But there was this 10- or 12-week gap, like a blanket of white fog we could never penetrate, and which Sirhan himself appeared to have a complete amnesia about.”
“He is absolutely innocent. He is not the person who did the shooting. He was out of position and out of range and he couldn’t have done it.”
The CIA’s use of mind control to create killers is a matter of historical record. MK-ULTRA was the code name for a covert, illegal CIA human research program, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence that came to light in 1975 through investigations by the Church Committee, and by a presidential commission known as the Rockefeller Commission. 14-year CIA veteran Victor Marchetti insists that the program is ongoing and has not been abandoned.
Whether or not Jared Lee Loughner acted alone is being investigated by officials. A second suspect in the shootings is still being sought. However, Loughner’s obsession with mind control is confirmed and given the historical connection between such events and the use of Manchurian candidates, nothing can be ruled out at this stage
Photos Of Shooting Suspect Jared Loughner, Handgun Found On His MySpace Page

Before its content was deleted following today’s shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the alleged gunman’s MySpace page included, as seen above, a picture of suspect Jared Loughner and a photo of what appears to be a Glock 9mm handgun atop a U.S. history textbook.
The images were among a handful of photos on Loughner’s MySpace page, where he used the nickname “fallenasleep.”
Loughner, 22, was taken into custody shortly after this morning’s shooting spree outside a Tuscon supermarket. According to news reports, Loughner shot Giffords and 11 other victims with a Glock 9mm.
Political Hacks Waste No Time In Shamelessly Exploiting Giffords Shooting To Demonize Political Oppositon
Paul Joseph Watson | Before it’s even been confirmed that Giffords is dead, neo-lib statists are already shamelessly milking the shocking events for political gain.
|
UPDATE: This is allegedly Jared Loughner’s You Tube Channel. He lists his favorite books as Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto. There is no evidence of any Tea Party/Ron Paul/patriot movement affiliation, much to the disappointment of the Huffington Post, but Fox News and others are hastily building his profile as a nutcase conspiracy theorist.
UPDATE: A second man has been arrested in connection with the shooting, while a third man is also being sought.
UPDATE: Reports suggest that the gunman is a 22-year-old white male named Jared Loughner, an Arizona native.
UPDATE: Amidst a widespread assault on gun rights, we learn that the gunman was stopped after he was shot at by someone in the crowd exercising their second amendment.
UPDATE: Giffords’ father has told the New York Post that “the entire Tea Party” were enemies of his daughter, suggesting that a Tea Partier was behind the shooting. However, Giffords is a blue dog Democrat who is pro-border control and pro-second amendment - an unusual target for a “tea partier”.
Political hacks have wasted little time in exploiting the tragic shooting of Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords to demonize their political opposition despite the gunman’s motivation being completely unknown at this time.
Huffington Post has already blamed the shooting on second amendment activists who held a meeting last year to discuss ways of politically defeating Giffords. They are also hyping speculation that a semi-automatic weapon was used.
Before it was even clear whether or not Giffords had survived, neo-lib statists were already shamelessly milking the shocking events for political gain. Our forum members also report that CNN’s David Fitsimmons is using the shooting to demonize “fringe” politics.

Giffords was a strong border control advocate and the gunman could have been someone with a grudge against her immigration policies. Hwoever, she also supported Obamacare and visited the Copenhagen global warming summit, so the murders could also be blamed on a “right-wing radical” and used to demonize the patriot movement.
The gunman was tackled by onlookers and arrested by police. He is described as a young man in his teens or early 20′s.
“The man was young, mid-to-late 20s, white clean-shaven with short hair and wearing dark clothing and said nothing during the shooting or while being held down. He didn’t look like a businessman, but more of a “fringe character,” reports Gawker.
Giffords is still alive and is now responding to commands, while other victims are in critical condition. Federal Judge John Roll has been confirmed dead.
Statement from Alex Jones: Whatever the motivation for this shooting, our hearts go out to the the Congresswoman’s family and supporters. It is important to note that, the anti-2nd Amendment, victim disarmament crowd will undoubtedly try to use this event to demonize gun owners and further restrictive legislation. Mexico has a total gun ban, and the worst record for killed and kidnapped politicians and other high-level figures in the world. With more than 28,000 dead in Mexico from the drug war, it is clear that leaving guns only in the hands of the cartels and criminals will only make us all vulnerable.
Eyewitness report from man who helped to apprehend shooter, “After shooting Giffords, the gunman opened fire indiscriminately for a few seconds, firing 20-30 rounds and hitting a number of people, including a kid no older than 10 years old. Rayle hid behind a concrete pole and pretended to be dead. When the gunman apparently ran out of ammunition he attempted to flee, but a member of Giffords’ staff tackled him. Rayle helped hold the gunman down while waiting for the sheriff to arrive, about 15-to-20 minutes later. The EMS came about 30 minutes later. Rayle said he was “stunned” by how long it took medical help to arrive.”
Who’s Behind the Congresswoman’s shooting in Arizona?

Mainstream reports are ablaze with the shocking and tragic news that Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head and critically wounded at a campaign event Saturday. At least 4 people are reported dead, including a child. Additionally, some 12 or more people were also injured by the shooter, three of whom reports say were campaign staffers. The shooter, now being described as a “lone gunman”, reportedly shot Giffords at point blank range in the head and fired wildly into the crowd before being wounded by security and apprehended.
So who is responsible for this terrible and tragic shooting? It is all speculation at the time of writing, but already the news has mentioned the possibility of “terrorism.” With so many other psuedo-events in the War on Terror lately, including package bombs, FBI stings and set-ups and the like, it is entirely possible this was a false-flag event designed to clampdown on gun ownership or simply stoke the fear of radical Muslim or homegrown terrorists.
A better guess might be border-related violence. Our early research shows that Rep. Giffords, a moderate Democrat, had supported tough border control and was pro-2nd Amendment. In particular, she supported the controversial SB 1070 Arizona bill to combat illegal immigration. Was she targeted by a Mexican drug gang or supporter of La Reconquista? We know that politicians, police, border guards and ranchers/land owners have been targeted, killed or had bounties put out on them by such gangs on BOTH sides of the border.
Or: Was Giffords targeted by a Schizophrenic or unbalanced, deranged and disgruntled political supporter? Media Matters has lambasted Sarah Palin and her PAC for putting “crosshairs” on political opponents and ‘inciting violence.’ Among those “targeted” by Palin’s crosshairs is Rep. Giffords. Did a deranged supporter twist the political rhetoric and take things too far for unknown reasons? Obviously, we simply do not know at this point.
Further, a gun-related incident occurred a Giffords’ town hall meeting in 2009 where an attendee ‘dropped’ a gun provoking a scare.
